  • Hello everyone,

    I'm new here and am inspired by all of you. I'm happy to join this challenge. I weighed in this morning at 157.8 and want to be 152.8 for a five-pound loss this month.

    Update: I usually weigh in on Saturdays and missed it a week ago (I had to evacuate because of the Woolsey fire). But I weighed in yesterday (11/17) and am down 2.6 to 155.2. So 2.4 to go.

  • Can I jump in? Weighed in at 179.8 this morning I think. Would like to make it to 169.8 by the end of the month. I know that's alot but I'm starting fresh again so expecting some water loss.

    So I wasn't all the way back down today, but I was most of the way.

    1: 269.5 New decade! I'm ill today though so I don't know what'll happen tomorrow.
    2: 268.5 Sooo, this is good but is it because I was ill and ate very little or because I'm following the same pattern as last month?
    3: 269 I think this is probably sodium too because I had sausages. I was very good at the fair: tiny tastes of chocolate, cake, and olives.
    4: 270 Not enjoying the bouncing around. I'm not exercising because of my injured foot so that's not helping.
  • Hi everyone! I'm excited about starting this challenge even though I'm four days late! I'm just starting my journey for the millionth time, so maybe this time will be different. I've never been a part of a challenge before so this should be interesting especially trying to make it through the holidays, but we can do it I'll likely not update every month but every week with where I am how the week went.

    Not back to a new low today, but at least back into the 214s. Actually a big surprise today to be down, as I went out to breakfast yesterday and splurged (which I only do maybe twice a year). I know I ate over maintenance calories for the day. I wouldn't be surprised to see the scale up tomorrow. Maybe it just didn't catch up yet today.

    5: 270.5 Going the wrong way but food-wise there's no reason for it, just my lack of exercise because of my foot, which is swollen and I can hardly stand on it.

    Lot of new faces this month, which is fabulous, but we seem to have lost some of our regulars to the Holiday BLACK HOLE. Fairly short list.

    6: 269.5 Keeping my calories low because I'm mostly sitting on the sofa with my foot elevated. Seeing my doctor today so hopefully I can get some advice.
