  • Thank you for those reminders, Curvy. You're right, I have been feeling discouraged. But I'm trying to look at the positives today. Today is my 6 month journey anniversary, and 45 pounds in 6 months is nothing to sneeze at. Plus, even though I'm stalled out, I did make my goal for the summer. I just made it early and then hung out and became better friends with it than originally intended. I'm actually right at 222.0 again today and was under it yesterday.

    Everyone who hasn't posted for a while, come back and update us, please. We want to hear from you.
  • I'm at 134.8 today, and my goal was 134.0. I most likely won't hit that by Saturday, but this is pretty damn close, so I'll take it!
  • With just two days until the beginning of fall, I'm thinking about starting up the Autumn to Winter Challenge. But I don't want to interfere if someone is doing a Christmas challenge, since they would end almost the same time. What do you all think? There were 6 of us who stuck out this challenge. Do ya'll want another one, or is there usually a Christmas or New Year's challenge that goes up around now?

  • I decided that I wanted an Autumn to Winter Challenge, so I went ahead and created one, since Autumn starts tomorrow. Anyone who wants to join is more than welcome. I'm hoping I don't spend the holiday season alone over there.

    Hopefully the spreadsheet will work, it is my first attempt at making one, let alone sharing it.

  • Happy last day of summer. We now head into my favorite season: Autumn. Yay!

    My final weigh in today was up a touch from yesterday, but finally down past my goal. I'm pretty happy with how the summer went for me overall. I'm still feeling good about this lifestyle change, and still going strong with my eating choices and my walking. I'm still not doing so good on strength training, so that is something for me to work on this fall.
  • I didn't weigh yesterday on the last day of this challenge, but I weighed today: I made goal! My goal was 134 and I'm at 133.6 today! I wasn't expecting that!

  • Well I didn't make goal for this challenge but i'm not too surprised with everything going on. I did lose though and that's always a win! See everyone in the next thread!

  • i'm a bit lower than I planned in the end. Surprisingly came back from 2 weeks in India and dropped a kg, so 110lb would be what I was at the end of this challenge (was even a bit lower than that when I finally got home and got on the scales).
    Happy though. I joined a gym recently and I've been exercising a lot more than during my main weight-loss period, so i'm still adjusting to how much I can eat (feel like i'm eating heaps, but I keep losing a bit, but feel energetic and getting stronger, so i'm at the point where I don't want to lose more, but I don't want to eat crap (very often!) to increase weight, but i'm full enough after each meal so higher volumes don't make much sense either, I should probably snack on nuts, but they're not nice enough to use up so many calories, deciscions, decisions, so i'm just figuring it all out still. Happy place
