  • 1443 miles for the year, with 199 miles to go for yearly goal. I'm still walking outside 3 days a week for an hour with my neighbor and the rest of the week 1/2 hour with my dog. I can't wait for the time change cause we start at 6:30 to get it in before she works and the sun doesn't come up till we're done walking. 3 more days of dark walking, yeah. Most of the outdoor chores are done. Must still dig carrots and cover what I don't dig with straw for the winter. Also have to spend one more morning washing outdoor windows. I'm excited about using a 20 pass ticket to a fitness center with a swiming pool and lifting area. I hope to start in mid November and continue once a week through the winter till the end of March.

  • 1644 miles for the year, passing my goal of 1642 miles -- Yeah! Three weeks to go, but I like the goal so will probably repeat in 2019. Having the goal to keep me moving is good, but, having a dog that demands I walk him every morning is even better. My puppy "Xander" will be 10 mth soon. I'm so glad he found us, he makes me laugh daily.

    Flower and Curvey, The year is almost done! It was so nice to have you both as walking partners this year, much appreciated.

  • Yearly total of 1,715 miles for the year. This is wearing my fitbit from morning till night. I garden and have windbreaks so get a lot of milage taking caring of these in the summer. I like this thread because of the challenge of getting my miles in during the winter.
