Happy to be back in the exercise challenge

September goal
Strength training 12 times this month

(3 x a week for 4 weeks)

9/3-1/12
9/5-2/12
9/7-3/12 week 1 done :)
9/9-4/12 - after washing stinky dog who rolled in goose poop...
9/11-5/12
9/17-6/12 - I can still make it to 12, will be ok with 11 or even 10 as long as I don't quit! Gold medal-12, silver medal-11, bronze medal-10, going for the gold :lol:
9/19-7/12
9/21-8/12 dedication, I did them at 9:30, now I don't want to got to bed...lol

9/7- 25 minutes yoga

9/9- 4 hour hike (10 miles)

9/16- construction work and volunteer work, 12K steps & 20 floors of stairs
9/17- construction work, 10K steps & 44 floors of
9/18- 25 minutes cardio (T25) and 20 minutes yoga
9/19- 30 minutes of yoga

I felt well enough to do the short BBL workout today. After not exercising at all for 4 days, and spending most of those days resting, it felt so good to exercise!

I'm more congested now after the workout than I was before it. So I'll have to see how this plays out before I'll know if I can exercise tomorrow too.

I'm really glad you are feeling better! I hope the congestion clears up. I read once that if the congestion is above the neck, you should be ok to exercise, and if it's below the neck you should rest.

Thank you, Eagle! I'm still running a low fever, but this didn't turn nearly as bad as my sinus infections are capable of. It's not uncommon for my sinus infections to feature fevers around 102 for daaaays. I'm so relieved this bout wasn't like that! :carrot:

I'd say that's a good adage to go by re: congestion and exercise. For me, it's mostly above the neck but not entirely. Even though I really want to exercise again, :( I think it would be prudent for me to skip it the rest of the week.

I know there are only a few days left in the month, so no need to add me to the list, but I figured that I would start now instead of putting it off!

Dee Thank you!! I am impressed with how many flights of stairs you are climbing up!!! Stairs are so difficult for me, my legs stop working after a while haha!!
