I'm having a much better October than September. Omitting the nuts from my diet has made a huge difference for me.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.

It used to be great fun to come here and read all the daily comments. I'm glad everyone still comes to post their weights though, and if you can stay a few extra minutes, I hope you'll take the time to tell us how you're doing, congratulate someone who has hit a milestone, encourage someone who may be struggling a bit, or just say hi to each other! I just hate to see people slipping away, and they are. Even I haven't been posting here daily anymore, although I'm not sure anyone even notices.
I'd love to see more life back in this wonderful thread, because there really is such a great group here and Joy is simply fantastic for keeping it going!
I know you'll get those numbers rolling in the right direction again soon! Keep your chin up!
I'm glad you figured out the nuts! I always have to watch nuts too. I think they're what caused me to slow down the last time I did this diet!
You have a great weekend too!

I hope your scale continues a steady drop back down now!
:
on making it halfway to your final goal! Woohoo!

And yes, lol, I figure my Dad's scale is 3.5 lbs lighter than mine. His may be the more accurate one but mine is the one I use, so I want to try to stay as close to it as possible so it won't be so disappointing to step on the scale and weigh so much more when I go back home!
:
Who needs 163 anyway, lol! You are just flying down the scale! Great job!

and great job on being down 6 lbs!
I saw you encouraging Keli before I even said anything, but it's so nice that you want to try to do more!
I'm going to try to make a point of posting each day, myself. I know everyone can only do what they can do, not everyone has time, and many of us on here post in other threads too. I just miss how active this thread used to be, so I hope we can get back a little of that because it's a great thread and a great group of people!
Yum, cashews! I love cashews, but almonds and walnuts are what I was eating when I slowed down my weight loss before, so you're probably smart sticking with popcorn, lol!
Great job on the 2-mile walk, especially in the rain! Now that's dedication!

I do think that we can psych ourselves out when it comes to the scale. Many times when I have wanted to reach a certain number, my weight has temporarily stalled. I've always thought there was a correlation! Just hang in there! You're doing great!

Keep going!
