Good morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The weather was so great here. Welcome back SeeMyFeet! Hello magistra17!

iDream, looks like you've been busy already this month. What is a "cold start" warm up?

Planning for week two is going to be tough. I may have a dinner out on Tuesday night (which means I won't be able to get to the gym - maybe I'll manage to get up early LOL) and we are going camping this weekend. I am going to try to go for a run at the campground, but weekends away are always difficult! So the plan is made, but adherence is the issue :P

May goal: 40 miles, 5x strength train (ST), plan workouts weekly

6/1: 1/5 ST, Week 1 plan
6/3: Run, 2.52/40 miles
6/4: 2.54 mile run = 5.06/40 miles
6/6: 2.52 mile run = 7.58/40 miles
6/7: 4.06 mile run = 11.64/40 miles
6/8: Week 2 plan

Week 2 Plan:
Monday: P.M. HIIT at gym, 2.5 miles
Tuesday: P.M. Rest (or A.M. run! Being optimistic here)
Wednesday: P.M. Strength at gym, 1 mile run
Thursday: P.M. Run - 2.5 miles
Friday: Rest
Saturday: A.M. Run - 3.6 mile trail run at park
Sunday: A.M. Run - 2 mile trail run at park

= 11.6 miles total

Wooo hooo got my work out in today but omg, the guys are so cute at the gym. Is it bad that I get on the elliptical next to the cute guy and go 5 minutes longer just to stay next to him? I'm burning more calories! *looks totally innocent!* :o

Joy, funny you say that because I felt like I should have done way more by now! I started C25K in February (and bought the shoes shortly after), but only recently started running closer to 10 miles/week. I'm sure it will really start to add up now.

What are you growing in your garden? Hope you've gotten some of this rain that's been dumping on us out on the east coast!

iDream 06-09-2015 09:35 AM

Good morning ladies!!

Nonameslob
~ Cold Start is just a 'little extra somethin' somethin' to get you goin' in the mornin', at least that's what Tony says. LOL It's just a warm up before the 30 minute workout. I think it's about 13 or 14 minutes long and boy does it help get your body warmed up and ready for the workouts! :bravo: on the 100 miles!!! Awesome job!

gardenerjoy
~ Hurray for consistency! That has always been the hardest part for me. I need to see an end date, that's why I like doing programs/routines that have a solid start and finish day. I also get really bored doing the same thing over and over...hence the changing it up. ;)

JenDestiny ~ girl, it sounds like you hit upon the perfect motivation! You stay on that elliptical as long as you want! :)

My goal is to get my Block 2 P90X3 workouts (and cold start warm ups) in daily and one day of rest on Sunday.

June 1: Eccentric Upper and cold start
June 2: Triometrics and cold start
June 3: Yoga X and cold start
June 4: Eccentric Lower and cold start
June 5: Incinerator and cold start
June 6: MMX and cold start
June 7: Rest
June 8: Eccentric Upper and cold start
June 9: Triometrics and cold start

Got in a bigger burn today than I did with last week's Triometrics, whew! One of these days I'll make it through the entire workout and actually be able to do it all. For now...I just try to keep up and do what I can. :)

Okay ladies, off to check in on our sister group! Have a great day girls!!

JenDestiny 06-09-2015 11:38 PM

Another day....another work out. Sadly, the super cute guy that I normally work out next to is going out of town to Costa Rica for TWO WEEKS. I will have to find someone else to look at while I huff and puff on the elliptical. hehe.

Full Workout is 10 min treadmill warmup, 3 rounds on weight machines (takes about 30 min), 12 minutes on treadmill again and 20-25 min on elliptical machine.

June 1: Full Workout
June 2: No Workout
