How are you finding the slow eating? It's something I really struggle with, unless using chopsticks ;) Because I can't trust myself I go for limiting portions instead, or if eating out and a plate full arrives I decide what I will leave before I start.... leaving food on a plate is a challenge in itself and goes against my upbringing entirely.... which is probably why Ive been fat since my teens! |

Well I am not off to the best start and that is not how I planned to start this challenge. We had a long weekend. Movie theater popcorn (just a little) and I may or may not have had an oreo blizzard last night after a long day of running errands. In any case, I was very active and I managed to stay within the "no danger zone" of not gaining any weight, so theres that. So, I jumped up this morning, did my cardio and staying on plan. stepbystep: the only way I can eat slowly is to put my fork down between bites. I resisted that idea for years because I was so sure it wouldn't work or that I couldn't do it, but it turned out to be a habit that I developed quickly and easily when I finally decided to do it!

Not really making progress. I have been relaxed about my eating since last Friday; need to get back to planning and sticking to the plan. warm weather is here, and I have nothing to wear... to fit into my summer stuff, I need to get to 140 or close to it.
