I broke my back; I have been in exercise ban :( Hopefully I'll be back in less than 8 weeks, but could be even 12 weeks that I have to take off...
|
Sum,.......... I do not have the correct words, but I really feel for you and that back. How the world did it happen? And don't tell me wild sex either, I don't wanna get jealous....
I have injured my back (and neck) more than once, but have not broke them... yet. I know how that is and really hate this has happened to you. I do hope you are able to heal. Best wishes for you and yours B F R |
For three days I did almost nothing due to rain. Yesterday I loaded two tons of sandy soil and put most of that in bad places, ruts, puddles on my upper road in here. The lower road is still under water. We have more rain coming starting tonight.
Today (this morning) I loaded another 4 tons up and placed 3 tons in the road so I will be able to get out soon after this next rain stops. One load, one ton, I put out by the garden to be used thereafter I stopped for a bit @ 1:30 and ate 400 calories,-- beans, rice, kinchi and a cople of clmentines then went back out working so it would not have a chance to start digesting. Digestion stops during hard exercise. I finished that up @ 2:30 PM then went to UPS and FedEx to pick up pakages (20 miles apart) and back home after picking up some groceries. Bought some more napa cabbage to make some more kimchi while it is raining tomorrow. Today I figure I have a calorie deficit of about 4000 calories again, I hope. It is so hard to be accurate guessing at calories expended shoveling/loading/shoveling out/spreading soil. Handling 4 1/2 tons twice. Ate dinner of salmon, rice and kimchi, another 4oo calories. Going to try to not eat again tonight. It is 9 PM now. Good luck all......... and say a few prayers for Sum please B F R |
Sum38: That sounds terrible! How did it happen? Will there be physical therapy involved in the recovery? How can we be supportive?

Sum, I'm so sorry! Hope your recovery is speedy!
Had to skip running at the end of the week, last week, due to a flare-up of pleurisy. So I am a bit behind now but keeping it up. |
