I seem to be ending July with a bit of a whimper, so I'm ready for a new month!

My goal is 1400 minutes and to continue my daily exercise streak.

tinneranne2 07-30-2014 06:21 AM

I just want to:
1) finish the 30 day shred
2) give blogilates a fair shot (5 days)

I'm 13 days into the shred. There is literally no excuse for not finishing this thing. :)

Working toward my July challenge was so helpful. I really wanted to increase my goal, but have decided to keep it close to the same, as I get discouraged easily.

My August goal is a daily walk, starting with 5 -10 min. (Increasing as I meet this daily goal).

Chelainabear 08-01-2014 07:45 PM

I'm doing another challenge that will last me until December, so this month it will include doing cardio and strength training once per week for 2 weeks, then doing 2 days of cardio and one of strength for the last two.

I also hope to walk at least 15 minutes per day. Not only for the exercise, but to clear my head and get some peaceful time to reflect.

I met my goal today, we took a 30 minute walk at work. It ended up being a bit of a quick walk--as soon as we got it outside it started pouring. We were soaked when we got home.

Gardenerjoy,

Please can I return, tail between my legs. I "joined" the April challenge but my resolutions totally fell by the wayside. :(

Goal this month is 650 minutes. This doesn't seem like much but will have a lot of company & family reunion this month so exercise opportunities will be challenging!

Could you please remove me from the exercise challenge this month? It's going to be too crazy trying to keep up!

The vote went through, 101-3, so my husband will be starting as pastor in about a month... in that month we have lots of traveling and packing and the actual move to accomplish. I will likely be meeting or exceeding my goals during all the craziness, but I won't have time or brain power to keep up.

I will definitely be back for September's challenge though, even if a day or two late.

Good luck everyone!

JenVitz 08-05-2014 02:10 PM

I know that it is super small, but I believe that anything is better than nothing. - My goal is to walk 15 miles this month.

I actually walked 1.5 miles today. This is going to be easier than I expected.
