My goal is to lose 4.9 and get to 155 Jan 1 - 159.9 Jan 2 - 162.0 - here we go, really starting with weekly WI tomorrow, so ok with this for now... Jan 3 - 163.4 weekly WI, hopefully this will be my high for the year Jan 4 - 162.9 headed in the right direction Jan 5 - 162.9 Jan 6 - 159.4 yay for the whoosh, nice to get rid if that water! 1/13 - 162 1/14 - 159.6 GW - 153 So, the party is over...pity party, that is.:woo: I actually worked out at lunch yesterday and then did another biggest loser tone and strengthen video last night. Was under in points yesterday...just by a couple. I am going to go back to posting the weight daily and keeping accountable on the weekend by posting. Since I have not been sticking to the workouts during the week, I don't have any room for a few drinks on the weekend. That's got to change. Thank you everyone for the positive comments yesterday! You all are so helpful! It helps to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with over indulgence on the weekends.:thanks: 183 - Wow, awesome on the time improvement!!! After a week of first vacation and then a loooooong conference I’ve been MIA and not tracking ☹
But after two days back in the saddle I’m actually down very very slightly! It’s amazing what all the walking during conference week will do. It’s also amazing all the salt that’s apparently in bad food that makes you retain water. Sheesh! But yeah, I didn’t eat very well at all, and I won't make my goal this month (I'm .2 down hahaha) - but I'm going to keep shooting for it anyway since it can't hurt to do as much as I can. 1/1: 214 1/14: 213.8 Nightangel – that’s so awesome that you’re seeing visible changes! 183stGB – drunk you sounds surprisingly healthy, I’m jealous ;) Congrats on improving your time! boatingmommy – I’ll bet most of that is water weight – I feel like every time I put on around 5 for a bad weekend of eating and I’m surprised when I get back to drinking water/eating my veggies, how quickly things are back to normal! Weighed in at 161.0 this morning. I am still losing but it is slowing down.
It may soon be time for an UUAD ("Up, Up and Away Day") soon. Strangely, an occasional day of caloric indulgence (as long as I stay low-carb) can sometimes boost my weight loss. Did my walking workout again last night. I have classes for the next three nights in a row so no walking for a few days. But I think I'm going to try to squeeze in some yoga and abs videos this morning. |

Bought the cutest outfit yesterday on ebay! One of a kind and hand made! I LOVE it! I'm so excited! I bought for when I've lost the weight! So excited for the day I can fit in it! :D So happy that it's mine! P.S. The black bralette comes with it-it was supposed to come with something different but she lost it when she moved so she threw in the bralette in the picture! :D

Yikes! My scale batteries were dead on Saturday morning and i didn't get my new batteries put in until last night. I've been working out but not as diligent on my meals, but this increase was a surprise. I've been following along here while i wasn't weighing in and am glad to see all the hard work going on!!

I need to get a bit more on top of things if I'm going to see the 130s anytime soon. I've changed jobs and my scheduled is all different, so meal planning isn't in a routine yet. The last four days I've been off plan but not complete chaos, so basically no change.

Hello all, just made myself go on the bike, glad I did. Just got done reading everything and forgot most of what I wanted to say.
I'm so happy to see so much activity here, especially no one giving up, even if we struggle we're making progress and getting back on plan. I have a pretty regular schedule at work, but it's so different from all the time I've been off through the holidays it's like having a new schedule. I find I'm chafing a little at getting back to the routine. When I was off I'd try and do a little something here and there, I think if I had an irregular schedule I'd come up with a group of exercises that I planned to do regularly like some planks, lunges, squats, stretches, etc. then try to do a few when I had a break so that I got them all in during the day but not try to set aside a block of time for exercise, just grab 5 or 10 minutes multiple times that would add up to 30 or more minutes a day. Imabehot - that dress is really cute, great idea to have a reward out there for yourself. Minneey - sometimes the posting motivates me to do better and sometimes doing better motivates me to post. :D Jacqui - thanks for keeping me up to date on everyone :D you are an inspiration, congrats on making that ticker weight! We did exactly the same workout as when I started in October, and doing AMRAP (as many rounds as possible), I improved by one round. And am not sore anymore today! Woohoo. Improvement in fitness gets me really excited, but I'm taking a rest day today - well, also to channel my power to my studies ;) boatingmommy way to go getting back to exercise. I think we all struggle at times - otherwise all of us would be a size 0. It's not about perfection, it's about consistency ;) designchick88 Don't give up on your goal - still half a month to go! Someone tried to fax me at 4:15 a.m.!!! :mad: There is a central office that they can fax to, but they faxed my home and woke the whole house up! :censored::tantrum::bomb: Argh! Needless to say, I was pissed and couldn't get back to sleep. So now I am walking around like a zombie trying to get ready for work. :tired: I am sore because yesterday was the second day in a row that I worked out. I did the Turbo Jam Cardio party 2. I moved muscles that haven't been moved in a while. Lord help me if I have to cough or sneeze! Stomach muscles are gone! Have a great day everyone! Mine can only get better from here. |
Well I stepped on my scale this morning and literally said out loud “wha??????” – for a good reason for once. I’m doing zumba tonight though so I can expect a good 2-3 pounds of water weight tomorrow…. My body is so weird, but I love it anyway haha.

I've been allowing myself to snack a little each night and clearly have not been doing myself any favor! It also occurred to me late yesterday that the antibiotics i've been taking since Friday for a minor eye infection may also be impacting water retention.

Keli, thanks for the ideas about managing the schedule ! Design chick, nice to know I'm not the only one struggling with the routine thing. It's food on the go as im not in the office that's my biggest problem. I need to try and be more if a hermit! Boating, tell me more about turbo jam? Have you tried the next one turbo fire? I'm thinking of ordering the chalean extreme workout programme and some weights, so might try and see if I can get one of her others at the same time. I've heard jam and fire are quite hard to follow? What are your results like? Well, I grudgingly went to the gym tonight and checked my watch every 2-5mibs throughout my spin class. It appears focus is not the only thing on my wish list, motivation and will power also needed. Maybe I should call it a whoosh list?! Scheduling is totally what I need to work on. I wake up, go to work, pick up kids from school, make dinner, kids baths and homework on a schedule. I have got to put exercise on the sched somewhere and just do it without question. I have been pretty good with meal planning for the week and it has helped so much to stop the mindless, grab something quick eating.
Thank you guys for all the support. It is awesome. I need to post more but this month has been almost overwhelming with getting my eating under control, and trying to get my exercise in. Then my husband had some changes this year with our health/RX insurance that I am trying to figure out. BUT I haven't used food to deal with my stress!!!!!! |

Sad note, school food is not very delicious, so it wasn't worth it. When I know in advance that I'll stay at school over lunch I pack something, but yesterday I didn't. Happens. My legs still feel a little like jello, but I'll go for a slow short run in the afternoon because the weather is nice. Have a nice day everyone! :wave: |
