  • I'm going to keep posting on this thread this month, but I feel I've had too many days not walking as compared to walking to meet goal, even though I know I said my goal was to walk when I can. I just think I'm not pushing myself enough. So today again, I walked just a bit. It's really not enough to count.
  • Jacqui: Is it a case of lacking motivation or is your heel still hurting you? If the latter, don't be so hard on yourself...better to let it heal first. Heal heel!

    Aug Goals: Walking 150 km PLUS 1000 minutes other

  • Tuscany, no it's not a lack of motivation. I want to get out and walk. It's physical limitation. Even so, it wouldn't feel right to have Joy mark me down as having met goal this month when I already feel as if I've haven't met goal, so I am dropping out of the challenge for this month. However, I am not dropping out of the thread. I will still be following it and rooting you all on! When I finally get back to where I should be physically, I'll join in on future monthly exercise challenges.

  • My sister and her family are visiting today, so I spent most of yesterday cleaning, doing laundry, etc. I managed to find time for my walk, but no other exercise. Of course, I got plenty of exercise cleaning, but nothing that I count toward my goals.

  • Jacqui, it was so much fun! I was pretty nervous at first, but I caught on quickly. I cannot wait until Monday again!!
    Im going to yoga class Thursday. Tad nervous i haven't been to a class in a long time.
