  • Well, I just found out last night that I'm not going to be able to complete any of my running goals. I went to the doctor and he gave me a brace to help with a case of tendinitis. He said that I could definitely run in it, but when I've tried, I only get about a quarter mile before it would get painfully tight, no matter how much I loosened the laces.

    Instead of pushing through and risking further injury, I'm going to lay low for the remainder of the month and just concentrate on lifting weights.

  • Issaknits: good for you for taking precautions. Better to let it heal now so that it can be strong for many years to come.

    I managed a little exercise today even when most of the day was spent in hospital waiting rooms while MiL had knee replacement surgery. She's fine and I walked a couple of times outside the hospital and stretched a bit when I got home. Yay for my exercise streak!
