I absolutely love that I have this place to come to so I can track my exercise, it really motivates me on those days that I don't want to go to the gym. And I need to go to the gym when I'm scheduled to as it's closed Sunday and it seems as though there's at least 1 other day during the week I have something else to do, like today I have training after work until 8 so no gym. I love the accountability.

Hey fellow challenge-iers (NEW WORD! WOOT!!) Just wanna say instead of late night snacking I come on here and read peoples threads. :)

bunnabear 06-13-2013 11:55 AM

I have to say that posting here was the thing that got my up off of my rear yesterday to exercise. I went from wanting to do nothing to doing both cardio and weights...just because it's fun to log both. :exercise: :woohoo: :strong:

Ahhh consistency, where have you been all my life? Gotta love the progress it brings!

Today on 30DS, I was able to keep up with every ab set. On the first day, I could barely do half. I'm still working on the push ups, I'm up to almost half now. You don't wanna know how many I could manage the first day.

Jillian is looking less like satan to me now.

I loved 30DS. I think I need to consider dusting it off and starting it again. I did 30DS followed by Ripped in 30 earlier this year.

bunnabear - Which level workout was your favorite?

I had a love/hate relationship with them all :dizzy:

I have to say though that I felt the most accomplished on level 2. I believe that's the one with the full fledged "Rocky-style" sit-ups as Jillian calls them. The first time I did them I struggled but by the last day of that level I was cranking those things out and it felt awesome!

crispin 06-14-2013 08:04 PM

Oh god, I'm kinda scared! My abs, along with my triceps, are my weakest areas. Hopefully by the time I'm done with Level 1, I'll be able to handle Rocky sit ups. I'll probably go delirious and start crying out to Adrian for help.

Which Jillian dvd has given you your favorite results?

It's so crazy to me how just a few minutes of ab work can be so effective. Since starting 30DS, my belly bubble has gone almost flat. I don't think I've lost much weight since starting (I'd guess half a pound), but my clothes feel much more comfortable. Regain tightness sucks. :(

I got the most out of 30 DS in terms of results (lost inches and weight). I was really dedicated and upped my weight every 2 days on each cycle. I was also VERY strict with my diet at that time, logging every morsel. I wasn't as dedicated when I did RI30 (due to some very long work days during that time) but I did like it a lot and it is very similar to 30DS. I also have No More Trouble Zones and Burn Fat Boost Metabolism and I like them, just not as much as the other 2.

Wow, well done with the weight increases! That will not be me. The line I feel is aimed most at me is when Jillian says, "If you feel like you're gonna die, follow Anita." :D

I'm considering getting more strict with my calories. In the past, I was fine with losing really slowly so kept them relatively high. But I'm starting to feel uncharacteristically impatient, probably because I'm shedding regain weight. I'm sick of not having comfy access to all my clothes.

I can completely relate to that. I've lost 24 pounds since Christmas and it was 24 pounds that I previously lost and then unfortunately gained again. I need to learn to hide the weight that I lose better so I don't keep finding it again :mag:

crispin 06-18-2013 06:12 PM

Ha! Tell me about it! My body knows just where to find it: in bags of kettle chips, bottles of beer, and too much time lying around.

I used to have an active job, so could easily maintain on ~2000 calories. I don't miss the job, but I do miss the deliciousness it afforded me.

Sorry for the lack of updates bleh. I used my fiances pc to come on here and his desktop said this site holds a virus. So he told me not to come on it. Had to wait till I could borrow my friends laptop with linix on it. ha. On the plus side went to the doctors today for some test results and got weighed while there. I lost 10lbs :)

Hot d@mn! Well done! You've been doing a great job staying active. Are you also watching what you eat?

I got that virus message too but went "meh" and continued on. I think I'm addicted to this place. :o

pixie3208 06-20-2013 10:35 PM

I am cutting and substituting my foods. Like I am not eating a ton of junk instead ill go for some carrots or something for snacks and I got all stuff with lower calories. Instead of a big *** sandwich Ill eat a turkey and cheese 8 grain pita pocket. Its not exactly a diet its more that I am eating less then normal and watching what I am eating. :) and I make sure I do at least one active thing a day even if its something small. Slow change slllooowww but it will be worth it.
