Baby steps are a good way back Hoopty - hang in there!
Katie - got to love those whooses! I had one today and am finally back to where I was in the beginning of June. Did all my exercise today and feel a little sore and tired. It has been hard not to eat extra food the last couple days, but so far I have stuck to plan & hope to keep doing so. |
I would love to see 159....sometime in this century!!! Come on scale!!!! I keep fluctuating between 161.something and 162.something.
Argh!!! On a happy note--although my dh doesn't like it--strange men are being nice to me again, holding doors, taking to me etc.... It's awful how people ignore you when you're fat and then all of a sudden when you're thinner you are no longer invisible. |
Hi Katie! That sounds nice. Its been so long since people notice me that Way that I almost forget what its like. I guess I just have to keep going, though I have to admit my motivation is low right now - but I am still OP.

Mostly OP for the day but I'm mad at my scale. I have been stuck in the 160's for almost 3 months. My body just doesn't want to let go of this stupid fat!!! It's driving me crazy. 162.4 AGAIN! I somehow managed to get to 161.4 the other day but since that weigh in the scale keeps saying 162 something. I'm getting seriously ticked off. Why won't it let get of it?

159.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I met my original goal of 160!!!! I think I can get to 157, which would be a full 50 pounds gone, before my master plan takes place. |

Not OP for the past three days and I've lost 3.5 pound! Go figure. Down to 158.8 this morning. I've had 7 s'mores in the last two days. Yum. |
Starting an October Weight Loss Challenge tomorrow. I'm not feeling well at all (flu) but I'm trying to hang in there. I've been struggling for the past...sheesh...month? 2 months? But now I'm slowly getting back on track.

Thank you Kaitie! I'm feeling much better today. I worked out yesterday and my muscles are super sore now which is great. That's how I know I'm doing it right.

Not happy. Not happy at all.
So, hardest to manage class is a double period on Tuesdays. Fine. They came down the stairs completely out of control. I of course straightened them out and then in walks the principal for an observation. I was going great actually and then a kid asked to go get a drink and since we were in the middle of something I said no. Another kid starts misbehaving, I reprimand and the other kid asks for drink again. I say no. Move the misbehaving kid, he proceeds to interrupt again and wants to sit on the rug cause all of a sudden he 'can't see'. Fine. Kid asks for a drink again--all within 4 minutes. I say no. Kid on the carpet is misbehaving again. I keep going with my lesson and the blasted kid asks for another drink. I say no. Principal looks away and is looking at my objectives and I mouth my exasperation with these kids. She leaves. Pissed off. I am an excellent teacher--a distinguished teacher. And this happens. I'm pissed. Not happy. I don't want to be a teacher anymore. I'm tired of having to deal with kids who treat me like dirt. Sick and freakin' tired of it. :mad: |

I've been OP with food and exercise but my weight went up from 144.8 lbs (Oct 1) to 145.6 lbs (this morning). What the heck?! I was hoping to get to 142.8 lbs on Oct 8th, we shall see.
