Good evening girls,

I was 100% OP today - no sweets, nothing salty! And, as expected, my weight was up this morning.

Breakfast: oatmeal with mixed nuts, raspberries + blueberries, vanilla soy milk
Lunch: tofu, cucumbers, 1 apple, corn
Dinner: catfish, chicken breast, mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn), avocado

And I did a 25 min HIIT run and lifted weights plus I drank tons of tea (unsweetened, as always!).
I weighed myself after I woke up and went to the bathroom and the scale said 141.8 lbs (+1.4 lbs). Then I ate my breakfast, had 2 BM's and just starting releasing water like crazy. I hopped on the scale again - out of curiosity - and I was down to 140.0 lbs. That's nuts!

"I do not fail. I succeed in finding out what does not work." - Thought this was a nice quote.

Anyways, have a healthy Monday everyone!

Hello Everyone!! I am hyper!!!

I just did the basic zumba (60 minutes) and the 20 minute workout and I am jazzed up and energized! Holy guacamole! I am seriously making myself not get up to do the 20 minute workout again--I think I'll be very sorry tomorrow morning if I do.

Anyway, Hoopty: sorry the scale is messin' with you. It's so frustrating when you just hover in between the same 3 pounds for what seems like forever.

I looked up zumba on the internet and apparently a person who weighs 170 (like me, for now! mwhahahaha) can burn up to 668 calories an hour! So I've burned off more calories than I've eaten for the day. Of course atm I am starving but still! I think I'm going to mix zumba with wfp and I can't wait to see that scale go down, down, down!

Ok, hyper post complete.

Great job Kaitie - You're on fire with your workouts :D

Jm - I've put the scale away. For now, it will be better for me to just focus on eating & exercise. I am so anxious to get to onederland but I know I need to be patient.

Hoopty - Glad you had a successful day too.

I was 100% OP and I stuck pretty low carb today. I'm looking forward to a great week and I hope you all have a great one too.

Been feeling very so-so and unmotivated *sigh* up about a pound which isn't a lot for the amount of cheats I've had but kind of makes me feel blah and more unmotivated. Trying to get back into it this week!

GettinFit 07-15-2013 12:58 PM

Happy Monday everyone,

Lil Miss - A pound isn't so bad. Try and forget about the past and start fresh today. Just take it one meal at a time and once you make it through today, tomorrow will be a little easier. Believe me, I know what you mean, I was there a couple weeks ago.

I've had a good day so far and I'm happy to say that I DID NOT weigh myself this morning. When I got up, I so wanted to do it but I didn't. I think for now it will be better for me to not weigh. Once I get below onederland, I may start my daily weighing again.

I hope you all have an OP day.

Hello girls,

Another OP day for me. My Mom made her fried-coconut-sugar-dough again but I only had one piece!
DH and I went for a spontaneous 20 min jog on the trail and now I'm pooped. My weight this morning: 139.6 lbs.

Kaitie9399 - You're too funny! Zumba sounds soooooo fun, I've been wanting to try it but I haven't gotten around to do so.

lilmisschattabox - :kickbutt: You can do it! Tomorrow is a new day and a fresh start

GettinFit
- Weighing daily is a habit that you've fallen into, so props to you for not doing so this morning! I like to weigh myself daily since I bought a new digital scale, it kind of gets me excited every night :D

Have a good night everyone!

Yesterday:

1. Take a Multivitamin daily - Yes
2. Drink 12.5 cups of water a day - Yes
3. Check in here every day - Yes
4. Stick with food plan (no specific diet just make healthier choices, eat smaller portions) - On plan all day
5. Do not obsess over weight fluctuations - Feeling good

Another good day of staying in control, I'm starting a new challenge this week; to eat a salad every day.

junebug37 07-15-2013 08:54 PM

I always seem to need a break when I'm working. I am really sick of the cycle I keep looping around and around. give in to small cravings -> gain at least a pound -> get pissed at myself for my weakness -> spend a week or more trying to get the triggers under control..... then get myself back on track and lose weight finally then so starts the cycle again. I had some hush puppies at "lunch" (late cause I slept all day) then skipped supper cause I wasn't hungry! I WILL BE BACK ON TRACK TOMORROW!!!

Kaitie9399 07-15-2013 11:28 PM

Hello Everyone!!

junebug: what are hushpuppies?

Not OP for the day...I went to pizza hut...it was so good--unfortunately I ate almost my entire days calories in one sitting. BUT! I did 37 minutes of zumba (it kicked my butt!) and 30 minutes of wfp. Phew!

Have a happy Tuesday!

lilmisschattabox 07-16-2013 04:59 AM

Thanks for the support :) Not too bad with being OP today, although did have pasta for dinner (and pizza last night - home made at least!). Worked out our budget last night and money is TIGHT. I need to try figure out some cheap weekly meals. Why does healthy food have to be so darn expensive? Anyone got any tips?

Kaitie amazing on all that exercise!
Junebug I'm sending you some :dust:
Hoopty & jm474 good on you for OP :)
Gettinfit thanks for the advice, hope you've stuck to OP!

Hoopty 07-16-2013 05:18 PM

Off, off, off, off plan. I binged on sweet & salty food last night at around 1am and I ate very unhealthily today as well. Why do I have to be an emotional eater.

Kaitie9399 07-16-2013 05:53 PM

hang in there Hoopty! Tomorrow's another day.

Hoopty 07-16-2013 06:05 PM

Thank you Kaitie9399, I hope I feel better tomorrow :( Hope you had a good day!

5. Do not obsess over weight fluctuations - Holding on for dear life.

I'm up a few oz's and official weigh in is tomorrow. I've been eating well, probably just water weight but still......reciting my mantra........weight loss is not linear, weight loss is not linear.

Kaitie9399 07-16-2013 10:12 PM

Hello Everyone!!!

SO! I was OP for the day---until I decided to eat after I picked up DH, he was late so my planned meal went out the window and we had to eat at Wendy's. :-( The good news is that I was so good for breakfast and lunch that I'm only 33 calories over my range.

I did 50 minutes of zumba so I'm hoping that that will make up for the burger and fries.

I was 167.8 today, .8 more until a full 40 pounds gone!!

Have a happy Wednesday everyone!

(jm: weight loss is not linear!) ;-)
