Howdy all!
I'm so in. I've taken a couple of months off for a much needed break from obsessing about my diet. Thankfully I've pretty much maintained! I am up a pound or so from where I left off, so I consider that a success! I'm a horribly slow loser, so my goal for the month of February is to lose 4 pounds, which is huge for me, but I think I can do it. SW 169.2 GW 165.2 We can do this! |
Im in! SW 135, will work hard to lose around 8 pounds by the end of february..! How often are we gonna check up on each other for this challenge?:dizzy:

To answer the earlier question, as often as you want.. Whenever you weigh-in for the week is usually a good time. Sometimes I peak at my scale before my weigh in and if I am down I update.

I didn't make my goal of 25 days at 76.5kgs or less in January, so I'm trying again in February!

Didn't make my goal of 10 last month. Hit 6 by day 18 and thought I am going to make it, but stalled since then. So my goal is 6 lbs this month

CW 246 GW 234 I experienced my first gain and then "whoosh" loss due to TOM this past week (in the past I never weighed myself often enough to notice this before. Super happy to realize that I don't need to stress over a little gain as long as I know my eating/exercise is right on). In the past if I didn't see 5 pounds leave my body each week I would get discouraged and give up after a couple weeks, but this time it's different for some reason. |

I've really been struggling this year. Having trouble balancing work, side work, family and myself. I feel like I just keep getting bigger!!! But.. I know what to do.. I just need to stop letting being busy get in the way of getting healthy. I have lost 100 pounds before.. I can do it again.. AND keep it off!!
My 21 day challenge goals are: 1)Do NOT eat after dinner 2)Exercise 6 days a week 3)stay under 2000 calories So farm so good today! Way to go everyone! |

SW 216 GW 209 Shooting high this month to try to kick my butt into shape. For the next week (but I'm trying for the rest of the month) to be off all complex carbs (so no bread, pasta, rice, etc.). |
@mccull83: expecting to lose 5 pounds a week is super unrealistic, and unhealthy as well! you're only supposed to lose 1-2 pounds a week - that's the healthy number. anything more than that and your body starts eating much needed muscle as well as fat, plus you're more likely to go into starvation mode and develop eating disorders, not to mention ruining your metabolism possibly for life! just be careful that you're not expecting too much of yourself, because if you don't see those huge numbers there's a bigger tendency to give up instead of keep going!
