The common advice is to give a new plan, like your low-carb one, three weeks to see if it's going to work for you (meaning, of course, that it gets results on the scale AND doesn't drive you crazy).
Also, there's wisdom out there that we should let our weight rest at plateaus for weeks or even months before pushing it down again. I only did that willingly once when I was losing, but I found it helpful when the scale didn't move to keep it in the back of my mind that I could make the choice to practice maintenance for awhile.
