Made my goal of 10,000 steps a day for a year. :carrot:
Need a new goal with over two months to go, so going to change my walking goal back to the original goal of 2013 miles in 2013. Time to start that winter exercise regime! Keep Moving ;) |

Do you plan on walking your 2013 miles in indoors or outdoors? That is impressive! I am struggling to get my 1000 miles in. I took the first 3 months off; that did not help...lol |
Thanks Sum38, I would like to do both indoor exercise and a bit of outdoor walking as the weather permits. This is a hard time for me because after farming/gardening is over - I just would like to hibernate. Your milage is great for taking 3 months off. I also want to congratulate you for getting your weight below 150, Yahoo! I may have to change my ticker if I can't shake a pound that has found it's way back, darn. Keep up the good work.

I am sticking to the formula that 3 miles on bike equal one on foot. 347.5 miles of walk/jog/run 263.1 (= 789.4/3) biking credit 8.9 elliptical trainer. _________________ =619.5 miles total P.S. Happy Halloween PPS. Sum and Workinglikeadog, you two are my energizer bunnies. Keep up the good work. |

1830 miles done, 183 miles to go. Not going to make 2013(still nice to have the goal). Working on getting a good winter routine. Too cold for walking outside and have a morning aerobic routine. Found some great yoga dvd's, now I just gotta figure out what time of day to do it and how many days per week.

I took early December off from the exercise routine; don't know why exactly. Combination of stress and mourning the passing of my MIL maybe. Won't make 1000 miles obviously, unless you count every bike mile as one. |

1930 miles done. Not going to achieve my original goal of 2013 miles but that's O.K. I think 10,000 steps a day/every day is a better goal. I've had a lot of light days in December, not good for weight control or motivation.
