katB, here's what I do when I get really tempted to blow it - like today. I have to ask myself what's really going on? I know it's not about food, when I'm not really hungry or just ate. Food is to console me about something. Sometimes I just can't figure it out for days. It can be anything... the bills, thinking of the past or future, harsh words said to me, the post Thanksgiving blues, having to do a project I don't want to do, whatever... Then I have to get away from the eating area, and do something else. So here I am at the computer. And guess what, I'm no longer hungry. Best of luck to you!!!
Went to Pilates class yesterday and today I go to line dancing. Thank God I'm still within my range. :dust: :dust: |

I know I'm almost a week late but I would love to join! My goal date was March 18th and I need all the support I can get so I don't mind pushin the date back. I want to be 135 by spring for Spring Break:):crossed: I want to go to Miami and I refuse to go if i don't look good. ( I know a little vain but its Miami and you have to look good.)

alright ladies
sorry i havent been around for a few, it's been a busy week. i did catch up on everyones posts today tho. looks like a motivated bunch this round! glad to see everyone back from the last challenge. i dont have much to contribute b/c i still havent weighed myself (2 week break) but other than thanksgiving and a small overage the day after ive been pretty solidly on plan. i am, however, TERRIFIED to step on the scale after 2 weeks and see a gain. i usually weigh every single day and the idea of a gain after that long gives me the *shivers*. cross your fingers for me! cant wait to see all the losses start coming from us! ;) |

Spring seems so far, and yet so near! We've all got reasonable goals. I'm sure that we can do it. My weight hasn't budged since Thanksgiving (not surprising due to the wonderful spread and the umm... TOM), but my measurements have improved, which is encouraging. Fingers crossed for you, juliastl! |
Hi all!
I have come down with a nasty cold and it is raining out!! I am challenging myself to do at least half of the exericse I usually do. Monday I did half of my usual walk and yesterday I did the whole thing. havent made my usual classes at the gym but I am hoping I can feel well enough for friday. Might have to make some of my time up this weekend! My doc says to do some exercise unless I am so sick I cant get out of bed--exercise helps the immune system. My stretchy exercise pants are loose!! take care all! sno |

Tifflyn, welcome! Julia, welcome back! Just came back from Pilates class. I'm so proud of myself today, because I had absolutely no motivation to go to class today. I just got in the car and drove there, hoping that would help. It did, because I went to class and did it! :carrot: |
