June Weight Loss Challenge
Another new month, another weight loss challenge! Let's make this June our healthiest one yet by committing to lose a few (or more!) pounds, or even by committing to stay on a maintenance plan. Whatever your weight related aims might be, this is a great place to state your goal and pledge to sticking with your plan this month. :)
The rules of our challenge are simple. We are here to provide each other some accountability along the path to weight loss, so just set a weight loss related goal(s) and I'll add it to our goal list for the month of June. When you reach your goal for the month it will be turned RED in our goal list! We have a sister thread for exercise goals, http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...challenge.html, and all your exercise-related goals can be posted there; this thread is for weight-related goals specifically. We love to hear about your success as well as your challenges throughout the month, so please share them with us. We're here to support and encourage each other to be our best. Good luck to all who decide to participate in the challenge this month! |
I have some medical stuff going on at the moment, and so I'm going to wait on setting my own goal for another week or so. For that same reason I may also be less present than I'd like this month. I will do my best to be here when I can, but I'm definitely going to count on all of you to help encourage one another and keep things going when I'm not around!

So I didn't quite make my goal last month.. so for this month my aim is just to lose 0.8lbs, get to 140.0 and therefore hit last months goal lol.

Trying to stay on track for the mem day to labor day challenge... Need to lose 8 pounds to be on the right path... Looking for 154 (and no longer "overweight!!!!!" for the first time ever!!!!) by June 30.

June is going to be such a hard month! I'm setting my goal at 195 even though I don't think I'll make it. Maybe if I push hard the first 2 weeks of the month I can prepare for the last 2 weeks!

Howdy everyone.
Well I've had a goal of 170 for the 4th of July for a couple of months. I need a HUGE month in order to hit that. I'm going to go with a goal of a 6 pound loss in June. SW 177 GW 171 |

Honestly, I think that's amazing. I know how much courage it takes to start and truly commit to the effort. So... result was positive. I knew it would be based on the 30 or so HPTs I've taken :dizzy:, but the beta number was pretty high (1137) and I was extremely relieved to hear that. Trying not to get too excited yet... I'll have another beta on Wed, and that will tell us whether the numbers are increasing as expected if everything is progressing normally. Will be holding my breath until then... |

Good morning ladies.
I weighed in today at 175.4. Down 2.2 pounds from last week and 1.6 from starting this challenge! Woohoo! I was really good all of last week. I kept my calories down from what I usually eat & worked out 4 times. So I knew I would see some movement, but I was very excited to see this much. I'm just going to have to keep being good if I want to hit my goal of 171 for this challenge. And I'm going to do it darn it! Hope you all have a great day! Kim |

OMG I did it! :twirly: 199 lbs. this morning, I couldn't have been more excited! I honestly don't know the last time my weight started with the number 1. HELLO Onederland! I really kicked myself back into gear this past week and I plan to keep it up. Back at the gym, watching what I eat, really really trying to make an effort. I'm always a little lax on the weekends but I will certainly keep that under control this weekend!

If I could just get out of the 240's for June I'd be happy. This morn 246. Not lost nothing!!!!so far. I continue to do the same stuff, so what do I expect. Have my walking shoes in the car. After work walk at the community park is my plan to just do it. I got 2 move it move it!

aniela: YAYAYAYAY on ONEDERLAND!!!! :carrot: That's so awesome! Congratulations!! kandd: Sounds like the first week of June went great for you! Keep it up! Eliza: Looks like things are coming along this month! OK, so I've been absent again, lol. The past few days have been busy and very, very anxious. On Wed I traveled 14 hours to get to a conference, and then traveled 10 hours back on Saturday, and since I was last on here I've had three blood tests to check on how my numbers are progressing. Friday's test produced some upsetting results and I cried pretty much non-stop for half the day on Saturday (got the results Sat morning), but today's results are much better and it looks like things are ok and on track for the moment. I'll know more after an early ultrasound this week, and I'll be holding my breath until that happens. I'm scared to even use the term pregnant just yet because there is so much that could go wrong still. Anyway, for the time being I won't be setting a weight loss goal - I'm more just trying to control my ravenous appetite right now! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I was pretty good all last week at staying OP & even exercised 4X, so that's progress once again. I don't think I'm going to see much on the scale this week since TOM's on his way & I'm retaining water already. Chickadee, hope all is well with you good thoughts being sent your way. Dawny, just keep moving girl, each step is a step in the right direction to a healthier you. It'll take time, but it will happen, so don't get discouraged. Have a great day everyone, Kim |

I've actually gotten under 140 a couple of times in the past few days but I'm not ready to call it goal just yet. If I'm there on Friday (my WI day), then I'll call it. I'm optimistic! |

kandd: If you're working at it the way you are, you're making progress even if you don't see it on the scale immediately. Great job continuing to fight! :) Steph: Ooo, so close to being there! Hoping you'll feel comfortable calling it on Friday. :D And kandd and Steph, thank you. I really appreciate the good thoughts. I'm nervous but so so anxious to just get to Friday and see what things look like. Now if I can just stop eating like crazy in the meantime!! I don't know if it's real hunger or stress or both. |
