Hey all. My weight loss goal for June is to lose 5.72 pounds.

Painted, don't sweat it! That could SO easily be just a touch of water retention (and not even much at that!). I'd be willing to be you'll be back down next week. :)

All, I'm sorry I've not been here so much to cheer everyone on, I've just had a lot happening. How is everyone doing this month?? I'd love to hear what's going on - but maybe everyone is just out being really active and/or busy cooking healthy meals? ;)
So, for those here who have seen past posts, some more cryptic than others... I've been going through IVF for the last 8 months, after TTC for the last 2.5 years. We transferred two embryos during our most recent cycle in May, and a couple weeks ago I got the positive test. I've been holding my breath since then, just hoping things would continue to develop ok... and this morning we had a first early ultrasound, which showed TWO gestational sacs and TWO heartbeats! :dizzy: I am excited and overwhelmed and a host of other things, but more than anything I am happy and relieved. I won't really relax more until we get a few weeks further into this and there is a less of a chance of a loss, but after detecting the hbs this morning I finally feel like I can actually say it out loud: I'm pregnant. :D |

As for me, I'm still at 199. Not sure what happened this week - the weekend wasn't too bad and I was good all week. Eating well, working out, really staying on plan. Hopefully it's just a fluke and things will even out soon. I have some super busy weekends coming up - visiting family in NY for the weekend, most of the up coming week off work, BBQ Beach Party next weekend, and a friend's bachelorette party the following weekend. Going to try to do my best to at least keep working out...even if my eating isn't so great a few days here and there! |

I hope you don't mind me joining a bit late, I've been weighing in since early June though so can input my historic numbers. I'm finally in the right mind set to get some of this weight shifted and really appreciate any motivation and support going! Lets do this! Now that I'm back from Ireland, I'm going to set a goal for myself. I gained a bit, but not nearly as much as I feared -- the Traditional Full Irish Breakfast is a diet killer! I'm at 75.25kgs today and I want to get back to my safety zone of under 75kg by the end of the month.

I was at 139.8 this morning, but I'm still reticent about calling it goal just yet, since I keep popping back up over 140 (which is all my fault because I just haven't been sticking to the plan consistently). I'm close, though! |

Steph, Lulu & Tabby, you all are so close to your goals. Great job & keep up the hard work. We've had record temps here in Michigan & I just haven't been getting my workouts in like I need to, so my weight is slowwwwwwllly creeping down. I don't think I will be able to hit my goal for the month, but I will be happy to see the scale lower than it was in the begining. This weightloss journey has been very slow for me, but I've stuck with it & not let it get me discouraged (well, maybe for a few minutes). And because I have stuck it out, I'm so proud of myself. Usually if I don't get instant results I give up. Have a great one. Kim |

Glad you're feeling better tyla! I was more than happy to weigh in at 197.5 this morning. It's been so hot here the past few days it's impossible to get out and exercise like I should! Hello heat wave! This weekend is the BBQ Beach Party in Boston so my eating isn't going to be great, but the weather is finally going to cool down so I'll get back on plan on Sunday (and try not to be too bad today and tomorrow!). Keep pushing, everyone! The month is more than half over! |

Well it's not my official weigh day... but dun dun duh.. guess what happened? I supassed my goal! :D 139.6 today! I was beginning to think I'd never see the 130s... okay I'd like to say finally breaking out of this monumentally slow period of weight loss was through hard work and determination... I think extreme stress of the past week has had more to do with it but whatever- I'll take it! So yup going to weigh in today even though it's early cos you gotta take the good days as they come I think! Probably won't make my goal this month, but I still weigh less than last month so it is all good. All I can say is bring on the July challenge next week and hopefully I can stay more focused since vacation is now over. |

Sally, that is exactly the right attitude. It seems like I never quite hit my goals in time, but I always weight less at the end of the challenge that I did when it start. So I will probably end up hitting June's goal by the end of July's challenge, unless I make that my goal again, of course. LOL

so i didn't make it the 8lbs this month - but i broke out of the plateau i was facing, and made it out of the 220's!! so I'm thrilled anyway :)

My goal was 140 and I weighed in at 138.8 this morning, so I'm calling it. I'm going to a wedding tonight so tomorrow's weigh in may be ugly!

So many people have met their goals this month, great job!! And to those of us that haven't, there is always next month. We've all succeeded as long as we keep making small steps forward (even if we do stand still from time to time)!
I'm a month behind all of my goals as well. May's goal of Onederland was reached in June. My June goal was 195 and I'll probably reach that in July. The summer time is so busy I have a hard time staying on plan with both eating and exercise. I'll eat well one week, but I won't have time to exercise. The next week I'll have time to exercise, but something will come up and my eating won't be great. All of my summer commitments as well as new stress at work (and long long hours. Boooo!) have really slowed my efforts. On the positive side, at least I'm still losing. Every little bit counts!! Final June weigh in - 197.5. See you all in July! |
