Ooh, look at all of you doing so well! I've gone off the rails a bit, letting the chaos at work affect my eating far too much. I haven't gone over my starting weight of 148 but the lowest I've seen is 146, so there's no way I'll make 144 by the end of the month. I'm still hoping to be under 140 by my birthday in early June and I think I can do it. I go back to my normal schedule tomorrow, so that will help me get back on plan.

ailsa, try not to be too hard on yourself. You've done really well and taking a break isn't failing.

Edit: Haha! Went to the loo, re-weighed myself and I've lost weight after all :lol: Sorry for the TMI there! Still pretty sure I'm not going to lose 2lbs in a week though to reach my goal tbh since I've been losing mainly only 0.6lbs a week.

ashori - I totally understand a stall and how frustrating it is. I had been on a plateau since December! Keep at it and you will move in the right direction again :D

AilsaPearl - I'm sorry to hear of your rough time and hope you feel better soon. Emotions can be so hard to deal with sometimes.

Steph - I have no doubt going onto a normal schedule for you will allow you to hit your birthday goal!!!

PaintedButterfly - Look at your loss! YAY! Goal or no goal, that's progress!!!

for some reason i keep forgetting to check back in here :( but i'm down to 153 today! not sure if i can get to 150 by the end of this month, but i will try my best!!

I'm with you dcapulet...water retention from TOM is driving me crazy too!

Still being really lazy lately, haven't gone off plan for even a second but haven't worked out since last tues. or wed. feeling really guilty for that and seeing the lack of results on the scale because of my laziness. Need to get back on track! Don't think I will make it to my April goal but I will be happy if I at least come close.

ItsMyTurn, thanks, but it won't. I'm heading back home tomorrow, so I'll probably gain again.:p I've got a plan for it, though. I started drinking green tea every day and I'll incorporate more diuretic foods into my diet and hopefully it will help. :D

minoja, I'm get lazy, too, when I'm on my period. I walk a lot every day and I don't want to exercise when I get home. I'm in pain, too, so I use it as an excuse. I never work out the first 4 days.

Hi ladies! I hope everyone is doing well this week. I was out of town last night for work (8 hours of driving over two days - I am so sick of being in the car!), and I stayed at a family friend's house... and I ate WAY too much of their honey nut chex mix. :( OMG, so addicting - don't ever buy it! I made a trip to Whole Foods today though, and I have lots of yummy, nutritious food for the weekend.

We're coming up on the end of the month... I hope everyone is still pushing and doing their best to stay on track! Can't wait to hear how it all turns out. :)

I weighed in at 203.5 yesterday, so this morning I was hopeful that I'd be no more than that...wrong! My final weigh in for the month is 204. I made it to my goal, but just barely!! Not great, not bad. A little progress is better than no progress at all!

Here's to making and beating new goals next month!!

So my deasr friends I have thrown my back out a week ago and am still trying to get back to normal. I have been doing nothing but sitting on the couch and icing and heating it as well as eating. Shame shame shame. The excuses are ridiculous. Family friends. Today I am starting my day with a protein shake and trying to make some little progress in the next few days before May consumes us :) I suppose I must just brush myself off again. I sound like a broken record. Where has my motivation of the beginning of my journey gone? I will just keep chipping at it.

Great job all of you who have reached goal or have lost so much this month.

Chickadee - it happened again, LOL.

I am in the middle of TOM and still saw a lower weight on scale today, 188.2... however, not quite enough to make goal. I have 2 days and think I am, once more, going to miss my goal by the skin of my teeth, :lol: Seems to be my commonality on these challenges. However a HUGE victory to have figured out what had me at a plateau for so very long, so I will take it! :)

It looked like I wasn't going to make my April goal of 14 days under 75.1 kgs because my weight popped above and didn't want to budge. But it came down yesterday and today. So I am at 13 days -- hoping for one low weigh-in in the next two days!

We have two days to go and I have 0.7 lbs to lose. I seem to be losing water weight again, so I hope I'm going to make it. The elections are coming, which means I will be heading back to my parents' on Wednesday and then home for 2 days on Monday and then back to my parents' for the second voting. So, I'll spend half the month of May being bloated, too. This is getting pretty discouraging... :(

I saw 144.8 a couple of days ago and thought I might make my goal, but I'm back up over 145 so it's not likely. My eating is all over the place but it's not totally out of control, so I'm not giving up. I just bought some new clothes and am feeling pretty good about myself.

Congrats to everyone who made their goal this month! I hope to be in that group next month.
