Happy Monday everyone! I know some of you participating have different weigh in days, however looks like only 3 of us checked in since yesterday for the Sunday weigh in. I hope we didn't lose anyone the last week or so. Either way, I hope everyone is doing well and had a successful week.
I have tons of energy today but I am just hoping not to crash this afternoon. Have a few errands to run after work which means I probably won't get home until 7:30 or 8 so it will be a light dinner for me. I am thinking some broiled tilapia and some steamed veggies. Or maybe some shrimp cocktail....yum. I got my workout in this morning which is great since I probably won't get to workout later. I hope everyone is starting off their week strong and setting the tone for the rest of the week! |

I couldn't get myself out of bed this morning. I keep getting cramps in my right calf. I hardly slept because of it. I am so bummed now since I have dinner tonight with my hubby and not enough time between work and dinner or after dinner to get a workout in. I really hope I stay strong when looking at the menu tonight too. The food is so good there and not the kind of place you order a salad you know? Hopefully they have one not so bad choice for dinner. Anyway, good luck everyone whatever your plans are today. If your day includes a special meal with that special valentine, or maybe some valentine's goodies, just remember to love yourself as much and make good choices for YOU. And if you end up splurging today, just make better choices tomorrow. Hope to hear from some of you soon. |

Didn't lose any didn't gain any.I think it was the nuts I ate..they are not allowed on induction...sigh...have to increase my water..hope everyone has a great weekend.

I decided to weigh in today before my evening out with my husband. I know i will have a larger dinner than usual eating out tonight.
I LOST 4.5 pounds this week. I had gained 2.5 last week so Got that off again plus 2 more so i am happy with that. very happy ! 254/248/195 |

I think losing weight with a group is the best way to be successful ... we all need the support, motivation, encouragement and accountability that a group challenge like this brings! I would definitely like to be a part of this Easter challenge! I see that there are only 7 weeks left, but I'd like to jump in today, if that's okay. 2/19 - 131.0 2/26 - 3/4 - 3/11 - 3/18 - 3/25 - 4/1 - 4/8 - My goal is to be 117.0 by Easter. It's pretty aggressive, but I am ready to stop making excuses and take responsibility for my health & happiness. No one can do it for me! I'll still have to read everyone's posts. Meanwhile, best of luck to everyone!!! |

Missed it by 2lbs
I was hoping to meet my 10lb goal but missed it by 2lbs..didn't cheat pursay but I snacke this weekend think I over did it on cheese..how does everyone else handle the weekends..oh and i made it without any wine this weekend..now I know I can make it to April 16th when we go to Vegas. I am hoping to lose a total of 20lbs by then...good luck to everyone

Yay for everyone who lost this week - a hard one with Valentine's Day last week.
I did lose but minimally, which I am surprised. I was sick with norovirus and no way could I eat low/no carb. As a matter of fact, all I could keep down were breads. So... back to low carb today as I am finally better from the virus from Hades. I m 44% through this journey. I don't have a lot to lose, but for over a year I was unable to lose anything. A screwed up thyroid, and my husband was very sick last year caused me to gain 20 lbs in 2 months from comfort eating. Nothing I did would get it to come off. Now it is coming off and I am so grateful to be able to start to wear my old clothes again. 1/29 - 159.2 2/7 - 154.4 2/14 - 150.8 2/21 - 150.4 2/28 - 3/4 - 3/11 - 3/18 - 3/25 - 4/1 - 4/8 - Goal = 148 - final goal = 140 |

What's everyone's favorite motivational weight loss/fitness quote?
Sorry, somehow my initial post got posted again.
Anyhow, CONGRATULATIONS to all who lost weight and may the rest of us keep doing what our bodies' want! Ladysheets - I thought I'd ask everyone what there favorite weight loss/fitness quotes were to help inspire your sister, Matty, along with the rest of the group! I love the one that you already gave, which is great starting point, because if we don't feel good, we're not going to do anything ... "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels". I'll throw in: "Eat to live. Don't live to eat." "Fit is not a destination, it's a way of life." About four days ago, I made a commitment to drink 2-3 liters (quarts) of water per day. Yup! With our body's being over 70% water (that IS hard to believe), I really want to be consistent and see how all this water will contribute to my weight loss and health. I'll keep you updated! I just started using the treadmill. I want to be able to actually run ... as in 2-3 miles straight. Anyone else walk or run regularly or want to? Hope everyone has a great week!!! :goodluck: |

Im so happy i had the surgery i can walk as far as i want now pretty much. I live where we have lots of ice in the winter in Alaska so i am being safe and walking on the treadmill and in the pool.:) Ive been having a pretty good week so far. No real cravings and staying on my low cal plan. Hoping for another good loss this sunday ! |

Yea 10 lbs gone and added ticker
I can't beleive its been a week and i have lost 10lbs. This is the most weight I have lost in a very long time..Plus it's the first time i have actually followe atkins to the tee. I know the weight will slow but I am still pushing for 20lbs by April 16th which is Veags baby...Hope everyone else is doing great...:carrot:

Im hoping i didnt eat too many calories the last couple days, ive started a couple new meds and they made me feel nausious like i needed to eat more. will see come sunday weigh in day for me Hope everyone has a great weekend~ blizzard expected here tonight :( |

another great week
Well actually its 11lbs i a week and half. I have been 110% on induction and will continue until I leave for Vegas. I know it will slow down but I think I found a way of eating that will help me finally lose and keep off this weight. Hope everyone had a great weekend.:D

Gained 2 lbs this week..still a 10 lb lose..going to try extra hard this week. I know the weight loss with slow down I just hope I can get anohter 5 this week. Have a great week:)

Gained this week. I was doing great until mid week and then everything seem to fall apart. I am trying to bounce back but I feel a little discouraged. Just when I think I have this weight loss thing down, I spiral out of control. :(

I took off a whopping .2 lbs this week. It is better than a gain. I am not surprised since I have been eating a lot of food. Time to cut back!
