chickadee32  I'm back again, mine is: December -4# off my bod please :bunny2:
GoldfrostDazzlefluff, I have a 'cheap treadmill' that took-20# off me :) I'm your twin sis about walking @ 3 mph, my tm will go up to 5 mph but my knees scream @ 3.5 mph so I walk safely @ 3 mph for 15 minutes daily. It does work to walk...calories in=calories off :woops: I don't eat after 6pm, my only snacks r hot drinks in the winter. I do walk my doggies & play w them in the snow & me & DH snowshoe on weekends, nature walks. Be like a snow-bunny & enjoy the cold winter & be happy & get slimmer before summer is back :bunny2: I'm also a member of TOPS, the best support club that I know really works! Merry Christmas Girls :tree::present: |
Stayed on plan today and did 40 min of light weight training! Was 1 lb down this am so plugging along!!
|
Welcome back neveah and miniDoodles! Glad to have you with us this month! :) I've added you to the goal list below.
GoldfrostDazzlefluff: I use the treadmill a little less often lately (only because I've been switching things up a bit), but it was my primary tool for cardio exercise for the first many months of my weight loss. I found it very effective. I REALLY dislike going outside in the cold weather as well, especially lately as I am freezing all the time now, even indoors! I think it's the long-term calorie deficit. Winter has just begun and already I can't wait for the return of warmer weather, lol. loose seal: Way to stay on track. :) And I'm with you on the incline walking - it can really be quite a workout, both cardio-wise and on those leg muscles! NoMoreKnit: Yay for the early loss!! finallyready: Seeing those lbs drop on the scale is SO motivating. :D My weight has been going up and down on the scale with the hormones and physically I was feeling really crummy yesterday, but I'm doing better today and as of right now my egg retrieval is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I won't be allowed any exercise until Tuesday, but I'm going to keep on top of my food and fluid intake in the meantime and hope that the water retention stays at bay. :) Updated December Weight Loss Challenge Goal List loose seal: Lose 6 lbs Losing4another: Lose 11.2 lbs GoldfrostDazzlefluff: Get to 155 lbs LeslieB: Lose 12 lbs silentarctic: Lose 13 lbs Tabbycat: Lose 3 lbs tavvy: Lose 11 lbs Thinsole: Lose 7.8 lbs Kismet89: Lose 15 lbs ashori602: Lose 4 lbs KG123: Lose 8-10 lbs In2wishin: Lose 5 lbs flourless: Lose 8 lbs finallyready1122: Lose 10 lbs chickadee32: Lose 3.5 lbs NoMoreKnit: Get to 178 lbs RockemSockem: Lose 12 lbs wtfudge: Get below 150 lbs nevaeh1984: Get to 154 lbs miniDoodles: Lose 4 lbs |

Hello! I would like to join too if its not too late. I would like to get to 156 pounds by Christmas day, and try and keep it there if not lose a little bit more by new years! good luck everyone.
I am eating out at a restaurant in a couple hours, but I've been uber good all day (so far have eaten 650 cals) and I know what I am having off the menu... |
Hey girls hows it going? Sticking with the exercise so far but haven't done super strict with the eating had afew drinks and had some popcorn last night oopsy!. :)
|
Of course, 3CatsMeow; welcome to the group! I've added you below. :) I always like to look at the restaurant menu ahead of time and plan what I'm going to have - it keeps me feeling more in control, which is always a good thing. Hope you enjoyed your dinner out!
silentarctic: Nice job on the exercise, but you know it's the controlled intake that's really going to get the job done! That said, I often build drinks or popcorn or other similar things into my daily calorie allowance. :) So just stay on track with the rest of your intake, and you'll be good to go! I ate a bit more than I would have liked to yesterday (1600-1700 cals). Could not seem to get full from lunch through dinner and ended up eating some Frosted Flakes out of the box after dinner. Not too many but I shouldn't have had any. But it did finally shut my stomach and mouth up and over all I did pretty good yesterday.
Think I'll eat my b-fast earlier b/4 I get starving . . . that may have thrown me off for the day. Hope everyone is staying OP. Let's do it so there will be a drop on the scale tomorrow. |
I would love to join as well! I don't know a good goal to set since this is the first time I am going to try to loose weight in about 5 years, I'm setting my goal small to see how I do, so 6 pounds for me! I hope I will be able to loose more *crosses fingers*
Currently: 223 December Goal: 217! Good luck to everyone with their weight loss goal! |
December weigh in's
Start Weight: 206.8 12/04: 207 :( Grr. |
Ok, so I was going to have Monday as my weigh in day but since I joined this http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...-sargeant.html and they weigh-in on Sundays I'm changing my weigh in day to Sundays.
Thinsole, I'm right there with you. No change. Bummer. But I feel better and next week am thinking I will see a change. I feel like tomorrow the scale may be down a .5 lb or so. We'll see. Am super OP today and am getting my bearings again in regards to portion control. It's so easy to just mindlessly eat and not pay attention. It's a hand-to-mouth disease! Start wt: 170 12/4 wt: 170 |
Welcome Lost Musician! I've added you below. :) I think your goal is an excellent one, and I'm sure you're going to do great this month!
loose seal: I have those days here and there too where I'm just hungrier than usual, and end up eating higher than planned. But, I think as long as your intake is controlled and those days are occasional rather than the rule, they're totally balanced out by the days when you're perfectly fine on 1300 cals. You know? 1600-1700 is still very reasonable, and I'm sure no harm was done. Thinsole: It's only been 4 days, and a fluctuation of 0.2 lbs is totally normal within that kind of time frame. I know it doesn't ease the frustration of seeing the scale be up at a weigh-in, though. I am sure you will see that drop soon! :) I am still up from my starting weight on Thurs, but just trying to be patient in regards to the water retention caused by the meds. If I keep doing all the right things to lose then the numbers will drop sooner or later, and then I'll get to be all excited when they do. :) Updated December Weight Loss Challenge Goal List loose seal: Lose 6 lbs Losing4another: Lose 11.2 lbs GoldfrostDazzlefluff: Get to 155 lbs LeslieB: Lose 12 lbs silentarctic: Lose 13 lbs Tabbycat: Lose 3 lbs tavvy: Lose 11 lbs Thinsole: Lose 7.8 lbs Kismet89: Lose 15 lbs ashori602: Lose 4 lbs KG123: Lose 8-10 lbs In2wishin: Lose 5 lbs flourless: Lose 8 lbs finallyready1122: Lose 10 lbs chickadee32: Lose 3.5 lbs NoMoreKnit: Get to 178 lbs RockemSockem: Lose 12 lbs wtfudge: Get below 150 lbs nevaeh1984: Get to 154 lbs miniDoodles: Lose 4 lbs DrivenByAmbition: Lose 10 lbs 3CatsMeow: Get to 156 lbs Lost Musician: Lose 6 lbs |
