  • My planning spreadsheet says I should lose.. 7 and 2/3 lb in December. I'll round up and aim for 8! Since I'm starting at 190.7, my sights are set on 182.7.
  • 12/1 starting weight: 170. <--- that totally ticks me off too. <sigh>

  • Long time lurker wanting to join the challenge!
    Hi there!

    I'd love to join the challenge with you all. I've been lurking for a long time but as you can see I'm finally ready to get started. Am recently engaged and just turned 29 so need to quit the excuses!

    Weighed myself this morning for the first time in a while and nearly fell off the scale when i saw 178.6. Am hoping to lose 10 lbs in December at least!

    My start weight for December is 163.4 lbs. I think I'll revise my goal and go for 3.5 lbs so that I try to get under 160.

  • Count Me In Too! I'm already on the 100% for 100 days challenge but as of day 76 we only have two or three posting. I would like to lose 8 lbs for December, bringing me to 178. I've been bouncing between 185-190 for the past few weeks and want to stop the upward fluctuations, was 186.8 this morning.
  • I'm in! I've decided to really work hard this December and I'd like to lose twice as much as I did last month so, 12 lbs by the end of December bringing me from 242 to 230.
  • Ok starting weight is 263.9!
  • I'm around 155 now and I want to be in the 140s. Like, I want the scale to read "149.9" or less under any condition such that I am standing on it (clothing optional) and it isn't calibrated in an atypical manner. I just want the scale to say what I've wanted it to say for years.

  • Morning Chicks,
    Happy to report my four days back on plan (after a turkey week free for all) produced a loss this morning! Was 186 yesterday morning and was 184.6 this morning Hope everyone has a great OP day!
  • Is anybody else using the treadmill as a regular part of their exercise routine? It's freezing out - in the 20s, so there's no outside walking or activities for me!

    I have a cheap Walmart treadmill but it is great for me, no problems. My short legs can't move faster than 3.1 mph. I'm getting ready to hop on in about an hour after my breakfast digests, continuing with the 30-minute preset interval workout on an incline (starts at 2.5 mph then goes up and down throughout, highest speed on that workout is 3.1). I have really noticed a difference in using the interval rather than just walking at one speed -- I'm hot, sweaty, and feel like I'm burning calories!

    The number on the scale this morning put a grin on my face. I'm starting to believe that my December goal is actually achievable.
