loose seal: Shopping for hours or running all over stores can burn a lot of calories! As can cookie-making, apparently, lol. I was really surprised the other night to see how many calories I burned in 6 hours of continuous baking!

chickadee . . . almost all this week I've been dashing to and fro and in about 10 minutes I'm starting in on two days of baking/preparing for Sunday. How did you figure out how many cals baking/cooking burns?
Really didn't feel like exercising but did anyway. Now? Am super glad that I just did it, put my back into it and am done. The dogs are looking at me like 'hey! are you taking us out now, huh are you, huh, huh?!?!?!?!?' <sigh> after I get things underway . . .the pecan pie bakes for an hour, likely I'll try to get them out then. loose seal: I have a BodyBugg, and so I was able to see the calories burned when I uploaded my data. Over those 6 hours of baking I burned ~1050 calories, whereas I would have burned ~450 if I had been sedentary during that time. So, I burned about 100 extra calories an hour during that time.

Had a nice walk today, and spent an hour chasing the kids in the soccer fields with some flying toy.
