Also, I have heard that once your weight gets lower it's harder to get those last stubborn pounds, but is it plausible to meet my goals while attending school? I have a gym membership and a dog to walk, it's eating healthy that's hard, and I'd like someone to support me, and someone to support. It's so much easier when you're not alone. ♥
I definitely down to join you with this. I am having so much trouble sticking to my plan since my birthday and quitting smoking (about a 1-1.5 weeks ago) and I need some accountability to get me back on track.
I'm sure that I have gained a few pounds since my birthday, so I am avoiding the scale like the plague right now.
So, I will aim to lose a few pounds by the end of this month....and focus more on creating good habits.
So, my challenge is to stay on plan....for a WHOLE month.
Can I still be part of this challenge?
When I am able to stick to my plan, I want to lose 5 pounds a month as well. That is a perfect speed for me.
I've been averaging 5 lb a month since June. It seems painfully slow, but I've lost almost 20 lb so far. Gained a couple this weekend, but TOM will be here soon.
I would like to join as well.. I lose fast the first week back on plan then it slows way down after the second week or so. I need to focus and get this weight off no matter how slow it comes off.
i'd like to join too =). my plans and goals are very similar to yours: i'm 174 (so the scale tells me) and would like to be 125 around september next year. i'm setting my loss at 5lb a month because i expect too much and get too discouraged if i try to aim for any more. 5lb/month is realistic and reasonable. =D
i'm in school too!! are you on a meal plan, or do you cook for yourelf? if you cook for yourself, it'll be a bit better cuz you can pick what you want to make and how much of it you want ;D.
Grumbling because I've gained 1.5 lb this week. I've stayed on my low Carb WOE for the last 4 days, but skipped exercising. So, today I picked it up with a 30 Day Shred video. I sure would like to see a drop soon.
I have been way off plan and gaining instead of losing, would like to try this with you. I was down to 144 last year, but so not there right now. With your support, will be back there for Christmas

So yesterday (October 5th) was my official start day for being on-plan for a month.
I ate around ~1350 nutritious calories and took a 50-minute vigourous walk around my neighborhood. In addition, my job is rather physical so I was on my feet a decent amount yesterday.
Day 1 of being on plan: COMPLETE.
Today I am planning to do about 30-40 minutes of cardio at the gym and eat under 1500-1600 calories.
Great Start, Persicae!! The first day is the hardest...it's great to see you really mean business this time and stuck it out day one.
Yesterday I helped with a big birch tree being cut down by stacking the wood for my Mom. Bend, lift, walk, stack, repeat. Wow I can feel it today! So, I skipped my 30 DS workout and the chocolate fudge cake Mom made and gave to the workers (warm no less). Where did I get the willpower? Maybe it's because I know I have to check in at 3FC. I guess it worked, I'm down 1.4 lb from Monday!
I'm glad it's going well for you ladies. My first day on my plan I ate around 1200 calories and I did 1 1/2 hours of cardio at the gym. The rest of this week has been a disaster, my depression is kicking my butt, but I am getting better.

We do have pretty similar goals. o: Coolness. ♥
I usually have to eat whatever my family cooks for me, but I've requested lean cuisine's which I will begin to have instead. And I will have extra veggies with them because the meals alone aren't enough calories for the day for me not to feel deprived, y'know? Aiming for anywhere from 1200-1600 calories per day. I am fighting with bulimia so trying not to eat more than that is hard, and some days telling myself that it's okay to eat is pretty hard too.
Peachy Pie- I hope you feel better.....depression sucks.
Yesterday I didn't go to the gym.....but rather, walked around the college campus my girlfriend works at with her for a few hours. So, there was at least SOME movement. We ended up sharing one of those "F'Real" cookies and cream milkshakes that you can make at Wawa. Just one of those is around 600 calories!
But, I only ended up drinking about 1/3 of the milkshake so it wasn't TOO bad.
I ended up getting around maybe 1300-1400 calories yesterday.
So yay! Day 2- ON PLAN!
Today I am hoping to eat between 1400-1600 calories and planning on going for a long 1-1.5 hour walk with my girlfriend tonight.
