I saw my doctor today for my 6 week follow-up... and I am now cleared to exercise!!!

I can't wait to go to the gym tonight.

I am going to take it slow at first, but holy moses am I looking forward to getting back to my previous fitness level. Sunday and yesterday I was feeling shin splints from my WALKS.
pokey: I have been wanting a bodybugg! I hinted to my husband that it would make a great birthday gift, but he said "that's a boring gift". LOL, not to me! Let me know how yours works for you, and what you see in terms of the calories you are burning daily!
DREAMER: As you've figured out already, the numbers would suggest that you could eat a lot more than you do and still lose, but individual physiologies - like the impact of your PCOS - mean those averages don't always hold. It sounds like you have a good handle on what calorie intake works best for you already, given that you've tried different levels and found the range that results in losses for you on a consistent basis. If you start the exercise and your weight loss slows or stops, then adding in another couple hundred calories per day might get you moving again. It sounds like it will just be trial and error. Let us know how it goes!
envelope: I often go up and down during the week too, especially in the week leading up to, and the week during, TOM. It seems like my losses are much steadier and more straightforward (incremental movement downward on the scale) in the two weeks following TOM.
Anon: I am a numbers geek, and so I enjoy looking at the spreadsheet and how things are going, how they change over time, etc. I hope others have fun with it too!
MadamB: OMG, I would KILL to be in a size 4 some day!!! Yay on all the new well-fitting clothes in tiny sizes!!
Hope everyone has had a great day!
