Amberjae - At the beginning of June I started counting calories and I try to stay between 1200-1500 more often towards the lower end since I am only 5'2". I highly recommened Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It only takes 25-30 min a day so you can always fit it in and she kicks your a**. I also increasedd the amount of fruit and veggies I eat since you get a lot more healthy food than junk food for the same number of calories.

Rated, Thank you for sharing! I'm embarrased to say I own the shred but have never made it past just watching the intro and thinking it looked hard. I think July might just be my month to shred. Thanks for the reminder. :)

It is so hard but it is so worth it. I joined a 30 Day shred group here and one lady who did it every day for 30 days lost a total of 15 Inches!! Just commit to it and push through it, take breaks if you need to because around day 5-6 it does start to get better.

I hope everyone is starting the month off strong!
I'm making my exercise goals super ambitious this month so hopefully it makes the difference and eating on plan will get me to 15lbs off. =) My July Exercise Goals: 30 Day Shred 6 days a week. Bike 100 miles every week. (Monday to Friday) Do an additional workout DVD Monday-Friday. Zumba on Saturday. I worked out a lot in March when I lost 14.4lbs, this time I'm adding the 30 Day Shred and the extra workout on Saturdays. Hoping it gets me 15lbs down! Good luck everyone! |
Rated, love your siggy quote. =)

I just went on to the Health Status site and plugged in some options for calorie burn. I think I am making my goals more mini goals thatn big time chunk goals. If I do 5 minutes of stairs a day I can burn over 6o calories. I think if I add in more of these mini activities the whole working out thing won't seem so daunting. It's amazing what small bursts equal up to in the end of day burn.

I am now only 1.6 pounds heavier than my hubs. IF is really working well for me. I think it'smore that I finally just decided I had to get my butt up and move. :) :running: I did this calculator at Health Status dot org, it tells you how many minutes of an activity it will take to burn one pound at your given weight. It's awesome! That's how I've been setting my goals lately. _______________________________ http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar-re...8/138/199/.png http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar-ch...5/190/199/.png One :cb: for every 5 pounds GONE! :cb: :cb: :cb: |
