  • I started this challenge and I haven't been doing very well. Stressed out by some family members that have health problems. I'm not helping myself by overeating and not exercising enough. I won't reach my goal weight probably until December at the rate I'm going. Good Luck, Everyone!

  • sorry about the family stresses, VickieLou. Sounds like right now, the fact that you are maintaining (plus a 1 lb loss) is FANTASTIC! It's great when the rest of the world cooperates with our weight loss efforts, but when that happens, being able to maintain is a victory. But try to find a little bit of time for yourself, if possible - I can pretty much guarantee that you will feel better if you can carve out your time to exercise, even if you aren't focusing on the weight loss itself.

    VidkiLou - do not let your families health problems become your health problem. I have discovered that when I am stressed, taking it out on exercise is much more satisfying then stress eating. Sure I still find myself starting to stress eat, but then I ask myself what I am doing and usually pull it back together pretty quickly.

    AprilSnow - You are SO close!!!

    I definitely did not (or will not) hit my goal but I have lost about 10 lbs and that is exciting even if it is not at the pace I would like to have lost.
