I started this challenge and I haven't been doing very well. Stressed out by some family members that have health problems. I'm not helping myself by overeating and not exercising enough. I won't reach my goal weight probably until December at the rate I'm going. Good Luck, Everyone!
sorry about the family stresses, VickieLou. Sounds like right now, the fact that you are maintaining (plus a 1 lb loss) is FANTASTIC! It's great when the rest of the world cooperates with our weight loss efforts, but when that happens, being able to maintain is a victory. But try to find a little bit of time for yourself, if possible - I can pretty much guarantee that you will feel better if you can carve out your time to exercise, even if you aren't focusing on the weight loss itself.

VidkiLou - do not let your families health problems become your health problem. I have discovered that when I am stressed, taking it out on exercise is much more satisfying then stress eating. Sure I still find myself starting to stress eat, but then I ask myself what I am doing and usually pull it back together pretty quickly.

I definitely did not (or will not) hit my goal but I have lost about 10 lbs and that is exciting even if it is not at the pace I would like to have lost.
