273.6 this morning, for a loss of 2 pounds this week. :)
|
I'd like to join this challenge if it isn't too late. My one year anniversary is one month after Labor day, so this is a perfect challenge. I'm aiming for approximately 2 pounds per week, so I would like to lose around 30 pounds by Labor day.
Btw, I weighed 190.7 pounds on 5/1/2011 and 189.3 today. |
Good Morning Everyone.
Late weight in I know but Mother's Day kept me outside and away from the computer. :) Over all had a good week of staying on track. Down 1 lb so keeping in the right direction. Finally made it below the 200lb mark:carrot: I'm super inspired to keep it up. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! |
I would love to join in this group if it is not too late! My goal is to be at 175 by Labor Day!

Ah, I'm up 1lb today- 197.4. Totally deserved because I ate and drank a lot (we had a belated Easter get-together at my house over the weekend.) I also only exercised once.
Back on track today with eating and workout!! Congrats to those who lost!!! :) |
Lost 2.6 this week!
|
Two days in and I am feeling great! I hit the gym again this morning, I may go for a light walk this afternoon with DD.

Great job Driven!
Last night, I ATE. I didn't plan dinner and, as a result, spent the evening grazing. ALOT. I sat on the couch and kept getting up for "one more thing" until I consciously thought, "What the ****, just eat what you want". I was so disappointed in myself . . . until this morning. At first I wasn't going to log what I'd eaten during the binge, but I thought I should really face what I'd done. So, I wrote everything down and was surprised by two things. One, I wound up only 200 calories over my daily goal. That's not great, but not awful and certainly not enough reason to throw my hands up and quit, as I may have in the past. The other revelation was that I'd pretty much stuck to healthy things, without really thinking about it - peanut butter, wheat bread, string cheese. The worst thing I ate were some chocolate covered pretzels and I was even conscious of the number I ate - 6 instead of the whole bag. So, while I may have lost the battle, I still feel like I'm winning the war. :) Scale showed a .4 gain, something I'll keep in mind while at the gym today. |
Great job, Driven!!!
Rmc- I totally understand how you feel and good for you for not beating yourself up! I didn't exercise yesterday BUT I kept track of my eating so that's somewhat good, right? LOL I'm hoping I get enough motivation to do my 30 day shred video tonight..... bah. |
Thanks amandie. Tracking your food is great, even without the exercise. I keep telling myself that if this is really a lifelong change, I'm not going to be perfect every single day. Learning how to reign myself in after a "bad day" before I do enormous damage or totally give up is almost as important as actually losing the weight.
With Tuesday night's debacle as motivation, I had a great day yesterday and dropped a pound. :) Onward and upward. |
i'm in pre-TOM time, and i want to eat everything i see. it's crazy. it doesn't start until i'm home from work for the night, but then i just wanna stuff my face until bedtime! so far i've managed to make the cravings happy without doing too much damage (as in i'm still showing a steady loss), by snacking on carrots, apples, broccoli and bananas.
2.2 pounds until i am no longer morbidly obese! :D |
