You are rockin this lluvyblu!
|
Ugh, thanks Musicangel, but it doesn't feel like it lol. It feels like this is going so slow! Grar.
|
Welcome ParkTrot! Looking forward to hearing your successes!
Yesterday I did my yoga, did my best to fit in enough calories (I just barely made it to 1200 -- my goal is 1350), and I have today's food all planned out with a trip to the gym tonight. I'm pumped! This is actually happening! |

Hey everyone!
I just want to send out how happy I am that everyone is staying on track with their goals! Even if some (like myself) are going a little bit slower than others, I think everyone is doing a great job keeping each other motivated and focused!
Jessica88 - You are doing amazing! Prepping, it's so great that you are staying so active. I have no doubt that you will hit your goal. lluvyblu, with 5 lbs down already you are definitely rockin this! Parktrot - I second the warm welcome. It's never too late to challenge yourself and join up! Cosmicgal, I know sticking with it probably seems tough sometimes. I have day to day gains and losses too. One thing that I do is I pick a day where my weight "counts" (Thursdays) and use the other days to just stay focused and on track. That includes day-to-day losses as well as gains. Since I started doing the daily weighs that way I no longer feel like failure when I am up one pound. And on average, I generally end up losing a pound or two from the last weigh in. It's the weekly average that counts, and the average loss over time. Not only what happened in the last 12 hours. I hope that makes sense :-) Anyway, you're doing great Bananapancakes - Thanks for checking in! Jomatho - um, killer! already halfway there! mdchick88 - almost halfway there since the last time you checked in. Great work! Our Lady Bonbon, don't worry about the scale not seeming 100% correct when you start working out a little harder. I have found that sometimes, the lactic acid buildup after an increase in my running (tomorrow I go out for 3 miles for the first time in over a year) can cause a few unstable days with weight loss. A lot of water AND SLEEP can help that. Your muscles may not have the rest they need to repair, and the water is really important too. Sometimes adding an extra high fiber, fat and protein snack. Also - when increasing exercise, I have found that adding natural close to the earth fats can kick up the weight loss a little bit. Just make sure not to combine the fats with processed carbohydrates. Love you all! Thanks for keeping me on track! |
Musicangel, I always love your posts :P
|
You know MusicAngel I think you are right! I'll pick a day and that will be the day my weight will count. The rest if something i have to do to get the little sticker on the calendar. XD:hug: Thanks I was feeling bad, not I feel a bit better.

So I know I've told my DH to hide the scale for a month in an attempt to focus on logging calories and working out without worrying about the scale number.... but.... I have a bit of a confession. :p I maaaaay have snuck onto my mum's scale this morning. :o I just needed some sign that my weight is finally moving!!! Well.... It has! It read 184 lbs! I haven't seen that number in MONTHS. Since it's a different scale there could certainly be a margin of error but it's never been much different from my own in the past.
So I'm not telling my DH. And I'm not updating my ticker either. LoL. But I feel pretty darn good anyway. Jessica88, you are doing amazing!! So... considering you still have more than a month left, are you going to be changing up your goal a bit? Musicangel, You're always so supportive! love it! :D Cosmic, It would drive me nutty seeing the fluctuations too. I personally relax more when it's a weekly weigh in... but sometimes I still hop on the scale for a peak in between. |
Okay Today is the weigh in that is going to count. I chose Fridays. I am 172. LOL with all the gains this week I am actually kind of okay with that. I was up to 175 there for a bit and now I am back down to my ticker weight.

It's been a while since I've stopped by here, but I'm officially halfway!! Not only am I halfway to my St Paddy's goal, but I'm also halfway to my overall goal!!!! Woohoo, I'm so excited! I just read through what's happened since I've been here, and everyone is kicking butt!
jomatho - you're halfway to your St. Paddy's goal too... way to go!! bananapancakes - you're sooo close to goal, and you're now at my goal :) also I love your username jessica88 - you've always inspired me... when I joined 3fc I remember seeing that we were at similar weights, then I fell off the wagon, came back, and you're so tiny!!! It's so amazing that you've lost 130 lbs!! lluvyblu - ONEDERLAND!! doesn't that feel awesome?! good job! That was the greatest mini-goal so far for me. prepping - That's so exciting! You have waaaay more willpower than I do, I get on the scale at least 10 times a day. Cosmic - 3 pounds is awesome! Good job getting through the fluctuations, they can be soo frustrating. I usually don't fluctuate too much, but even going up 1/2 a pound drives me NUTS. Congrats for sticking with it! musicangel - I'm going to agree with everyone else, you're so supportive! And you're doing really well on your loss... AND you get your ticker soon. Woohoo! Sorry for the rambling, I'm just excited for all of us lol |
I've been hiding from here since I joined because I gained about 4 pounds after I set my goal weight. I had just started to exercise daily and I think my body was adjusting to it. I'm going to readjust my goal weight, just by a couple pounds, to make it realistic.

Checking in for the week. I actually gained a few pounds in the middle of this week, not sure why, was on plan all week, but overall, still ended up lower than last week. I'll take it!
SW: 214 CW: 206.2 GW: 199 Watch out Onderland, here I come! :carrot: |
I need to get back in this. I've been slacking for a few days. In the past, however, if I would start to slack, I would just give up. But now I'm in this for good so if I mess up, it just means I have to try even harder to make up for it.
You guys are doing awesome though :) |
You were right, Musicangel! It took a while to adjust, but luckily I have started losing again :D Thanks for being so supportive; you're awesome.
