There's some nice losses in here!!!! Woo Hoo! :D

I am quite proud of myself as I have been tracking all my calories, went for yoga and strength training over the last couple days, and have been following some new low cal recipes to spice up our chicken dinners! I feel pretty darn good!

Was at the mall briefly today looking at all the clothes and felt so excited for when I get to go on a shopping spree for a bunch of new clothes to fit the smaller me. :D

hi~! I'd like to join as well.. Since I'm just starting (as of yesterday) my goal is to stay on track with my eating/exercise plan and plan for a loss of 1-2 pounds a week.

Good Luck everyone !

Still going down so that is a good thing. Not much of a loss today. Almost out of the 170's so woot! Hope you guys are doing well! keep up the hard work.

CosmicGal 02-04-2011 01:48 PM

Okay bad me. Was doing so good. Then i go out wtih the family and SURE I"D love to eat four slices of pizza and drink soda and hae that calorie filled coffee. It would be awesome!

So back up to 172 that is a 1.3 pound gain. Back to the drawing board and no one to blame but me!

SW: 204
CW: 198.5
GW: 188 ~ 15 pounds by St. Patty's Day

CosmicGal Good for you for not giving up. I keep trying to tell myself that. If I mess up one day...just try again tomorrow. We can do this :D

Our Lady Bonbon 02-05-2011 11:50 AM

Wow, gals! Congratulations on your losses.
Also, congratulations, CosmicGal, for hopping right back on the wagon. That's the difference between a loser and a winner. A loser stays down, but a winner just takes it as another day and tries again the next day.
prepping-- Wow! You're on fire with your workout. Great job!
So this week hasn't been a good week. I've been sticking to plan SO WELL, strength training, doing c25k plus other cardio, and I'm GAINING! :( I'm so frustrated. I ran for 20 minutes straight last night (that's the longest I've ever run), power walked for 10 minutes and did an hour of strength training, and yet the scale went up again. I guess my hormones are acting up or I'm retaining water or something. I normally eat little meals every day, but today I'm going to try eating three big ones and see if that helps. . . I hear that switching things up can break a plateau.

bananapancakes 02-06-2011 01:07 PM

Oops, totally forgot I joined this thread. I started at 137, down to 135.6. At this point it's slow and steady, but I'll absolutely take that over nothing or a gain! Congratulations to you all on your losses so far! :)

5.5 weeks to go? We can do this!

I have had a great week. Logging all my calories, making a good effort working out, feeling pretty good overall with my actions! My DH says that I look like I've lost a bit (I don't see it yet) and my clothes feel just a tad looser (I think) - and since I told DH to hide the scale, I'll have to assume that the numbers are going in the right direction.

Even so, yesterday I changed shirts twice before everyone came over for Super Bowl. I am so anxiously looking forward to when my lovehandles go away! From experience, that seems to happen between 170-175 lbs. I swear, I dream of that day. :p *sigh* Well, at least I'll be that much closer by the end of this challenge! That's something to certainly look forward to!

How's everyone doing?

CosmicGal 02-07-2011 12:36 PM

Okay up another pound. I am back to 173. that is okay. well not okay, but I can work on this and get out of the 170's in two weeks. I know I can it is a little upsetting but i am not out, even if I am a little down!

I'm am going to fix my ticker to reflect my gain.

Musicangel 02-07-2011 01:01 PM

Hey all!

SW 199
CW 194
GW 185

So Superbowl Sunday was a doozy! But rather than obsess about my daily weight fluctuation I am really trying to focus on weekly weight changes.

Luckily there shouldn't be too many more parties that involve any more than a few rum and diets... But between mimosas and beer and chips and texas toast bruscetta, etc, I definitely backtracked a little. I guess it won't be the last time...and it's definitely not the first!

Thanks to everyone who has been keeping this thread so active! I had a kind of crazy week last week. It's good to feel a little back to normal!

ParkTrot 02-07-2011 05:11 PM

Hey all, assuming it’s not too late to join this challenge I’d love to participate. I feel 15 pounds by St. Patty’s Day is definitely doable for me given where I am at right now in my weight loss right now, which is just starting out. I lost almost all my weight before and then gained it back (LONG story) but I’m hoping this challenge will give me the edge to really give myself a big BOOST into round 2. I feel that if I have other people to report too, I will hold myself much more accountable for how much work I’m actually putting into my weight loss. So on that note, here are my stats:

SW: 190
CW: 190
GW (for this challenge) : 175

Goodluck everyone!
