I had great weekend working out. I made it to the gym all three days and burned an average of 700cal. a day. I have two tough weeks ahead with travel and eating out but I will make good choices!! I hope everyone has a great week and Happy Monday:D

Hi all -

I think I'm finally almost recovered from some crazy virus I got! I haven't been exercising these past 4 days because of my body aches and double pink eye. But I feel much better today, and even got my yoga in :)

I'm back!!! So I was sick when I first joined this thread but I didn't realize how sick and it wasn't until this weekend that I got better. It was quite a drama. So I siipped the weigh-in on 1/30 and did this week's on Tuesday when I finally got to the gym. I believe I am back on track; seeing my trainer again Friday and really trying to work my Beck program.
I'll try to get back to contributing to the chat on this thread!

I feel so sad, last week I did not exercise at all because of TOM and being sick .. yesterday was my first day back to the gym but my scale is either 177 or 178, I can't seem to get below 177 .. I know that the scale wouldn't move alot due to the lack of exercising and the horrible temptations of snacks that I gave in to but still I'm still down -- I know I wont be able to meet my valentines day goal of 171 but if I could atleast get to 175 by the end of next week, maybe I will be happy ....

Sorry for venting but I just really want to lose weight for my Memorial Weekend vacation is Miami since the flight and hotel are already booked ...


PLEASE HELP ME!

- glad you're feeling back and back with us! Sometimes getting sick hits ya like a ton of bricks...

Diamond- :hug: vent away! The best advice I can give is stay on plan, get movin, and give yourself a hug. You'll get there if you keep going!

Went back to my desk job today - and it was just as boring as I remembered. I need to find a constructive way to spice it up. I'm pretty sleepy (I think my body is still trying to recover) but I want to get something in today that's not too strenuous.

Lovely ladies - we are over the HUMP (day)!

And- I have a south beach strawberry cheesecake in the oven!!

So i am looking for a thread in which I can have support and talk about goals! This seems like the place!

Wow, it's so hard to know everyone's names as there are so many people! Hopefully I will get the hang of this soon! :)

My goal is to be at 130lbs by the end of March, and that is quite liberal. I would really like to be at 130 before then, but able to maintain until the end of March.

Then go hard and get to 125 by the end of April and then at 120 by May and then maintain.

Over the 4th of July weekend my husband and I are going to a resort in San Diego with my family and I really want to be at 120! Every year I say this, but every year I'm at 130. So this is the year!

I haven't been 120 since High School and I'm not sure how going smaller would look/feel. My Bmi says I could get to 110 or something, but that is gross! 115 would be good! We shall see!!!!!!

Help motivate me! LOL What works for you guys to lose weight?

- I'll put the coffee on! It's very low-carb, but super delicious!!

I completed my internship today - it's a nice feeling. No more early morning tumor meetings!! My very generous boss bought bagels today - they don't I'm a low-carbie - and so I ate one. She had got to all the trouble of ordering them fresh and going out of her way to pick them up, so I felt obligated. After, I had a douzy of a headache and have been thirsty all day. Other than that, not too bad. (I think I thought I would exploded or something) This may mean no change on the scale this week (with this and that whole being sick/not exercising thing) But we'll see!

Madam Butterfly, thanks for the shout out with the little blue guy you made my day!! I was out of town for 3 days and I still lost 1 pound so that was a huge victory. I leave for DC for five days and I'm hoping to continue to lose. This has been a really tough couple of weeks to fit an actual workout in so I would love some creative ideas to burn calories when you are away from home.:dizzy:

*Fingers Crossed* my weigh in tomorrow is a good one! I've been busting my butt at the gym this week, but I don't feel as good as last week. More emotional, I think. It's been a difficult week plus TOM is coming soon. Bleugh. Anyways, keep up the hard work everyone and I'll report back tomorrow with my weigh in results!

diamond - we all have off days or weeks. For me, TOM certainly plays into it too.

I am trying really hard not to be sick, I was freezing cold last night and this morning I am puffy and stuffy. I am hoping to get a lot of rest this weekend, so maybe that will do the trick.

The good news is that yesterday I realized that I really needed to give up my favorite pair of slacks because they are too big now!

I wooshed into the 240's today - 249!! So happy - this is the lowest weight I've been in 3 years!

I'm pretty happy with my results this week. I did lose over a pound and a half, so that's pretty decent with TOM coming soon and all. Hopefully I can keep the scale moving in the right direction even when TOM gets here in the upcoming week!
