Congrats luciddepths on losing those inches! I just measured myself for the very first time ever a couple days ago and I'm looking forward to tracking inches lost.

tracking them definitely shows you there is progress even when you think your at a plateau.

Yeah, that's very true. Back in 2009 I lost about 60 lbs but everyone thought I lost way more than that, no doubt due to inches lost. Even if the scale is staying the same or not moving much, tracking all the inches I'm losing will help me stay focused. :)

My update: I am so happy to be working toward my Anniv. goal (in April). I have 15 more lbs to go to reach my goal of 295. I loss 18 lbs in January and am soooo happy! I am hoping to lose 2-3 lbs each week so that is my goal, however I am super happy to be able to lose a little extra than anticipated.

Congrats ladies, everyone is doing great!!

I am up on the scale (158.5) but I'm hoping it's just water weight as I went out with my girlfriends Friday night and had too much wine/sushi/dessert. I'm hoping that if I keep my calories down I will still see a loss on my official WI day (Wednesday).

Does anyone have Superbowl plans for today? I am having a few friends over and instead of ordering pizza I think we are going to make some so it will be a lot healthier (and cheaper!) I will probably have one or two light beers, but no more than that and no snack-y type foods is my goal.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! :)

Hey ladies,
I haven't updated in a while but wanted to thank everyone for the support they gave last time I posted. I was struggiling with staying at 248 for so long and y'all gave me great advice and support. I just wanted to let everyone know I'm at now at 238!!!! THAT'S A TEN POUND LOSS! I'm so excited and am pretty sure I will hit my second mini goal(230) by April. I'm travelog to Orlando for a week with the family I work for at the end of April and would LOVE to be down somewhere in the 220's then. Does that sound reasonable?

REMEMBER to MEASURE yourself and not just rely on the scale!


I hope everyone is doing well, im still seeing 170 lbs. BUT i am getting more fit which im ok with if the scale doesnt change!

Once you get the bug to be healthy, its amazing!!!! I love it.

Wooohoo! Congrats on losing TEN pounds! That is fabulous. In my opinion, I think it is definitely possible to be in the 220's then. I will also say that, with only about 10 weeks until the end of April, that's about an avg of 1-2 pounds per week, so it would depend on your personal health goals and plans.

You can do it! Even if you don't get there by then, you will be even that much closer!

Look at you! Getting healthy and feeling great! So far I'm not losing inches, I'm losing pounds. I think that within the next 4-5 weeks that might start to shift. 13 lbs to go to reach my April 8th goal! That's about 1.625 lbs per week. 2 lbs is my going goal each week, so I'm so confident that I can make it!

Let's go ladies we're doing GREAT!

I completely agree. I'm kinda nervous about my weigh in tomorrow, but I know that I'm getting healthier and more fit. I feel such a difference when I go to the gym now as opposed to when I first started working out! I also finally bought a measuring tape so I could keep track of inches lost as well.

Well, I lost about 1.6 pounds over the past week. So not bad. Just gotta keep the scale moving down all the way to April 1st!
