Hi ladies

It was a good week for me but my appetite went up since Im about to get my period. I always get hungry the week before it starts. I was eating about 2200 cals a day. I track everything and I have been doing that for about 3 months so now its basically a habit. Also I recieved my bodybugg yesterday Im so excited to start seeing how much or little I burn a day. I also think I am getting a head cold ugh. My last day of is on the 26th and in March were moving to Colorado Im so excited

Hi Bigmomma! I'm still here! Congratulations on being down again. Wow, you are doing great! My weight is bouncing around a lot due to TOM. I think it's leveling out at another 2 lb loss for this week, but Sunday is my birthday, and my parents are taking us out for dinner. Monday is my mom's birthday, so refusing is out of the question. Honestly, celebrations are a part of life and if my weight is back up a little on Monday, that's okay. For right now I am officially in onederland!!! I may not be there on "official weigh-in" Monday, but I'll be back to stay by Valentine's day!

Kuchick, Let me start by saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and Wow, onderland, what a great gift you have given yourself !!!!!! I can't wait to be able to say that. It's such hard work, but you can do it. Birthdays are hard, any celebration is hard, but you can have a thin slice of cake on both days, YES I said both days :). As you know the key is to limit your portions, as dull as that is, it's true.

Sometimes I know I don't eat enough, but I try to balance it out by uping my calories more the next day. I had a NSV today, I fit into a size 24 pants(down from a 30/32), yippie!!!! I havent worn this size in 10+ years, feels sooooo nice ;)

Matilda - You and I both! The past two weeks flew by, between being sick, a huge family gathering with tons of amazing food, and being snowed in one weekend, it's been a blur.

So all, yes I have been MIA since my last post, on 1/25 but the important thing is I am back :) We all might experience a week or two and sometimes more, where we just need a break from the stress of it all.This change in lifestyle takes dedication, it's not natural to us, so we have to work at it. Just like some days I feel like calling out of work and other days I go in and get so much done before lunch :) The important thing is we come back.

So I promise that I will be back tomorrow morning to post my weigh in, but I wanted to get caught up and post for the past two weeks. Luckily I haven't gained, however I'm certainly not where I wanted to be. Although I am aware that I have set some pretty high goals for myself through March/April. i've been going to the gym and doing 30 min of swimming laps, and 60 minutes walking on the treadmill once a week.

Hello ladies, Ive been such a bad girl. Ive been op for a few weeks or so. Today I started a detox phase from the fat smash diet. So far so good. Im trying to get myself back on plan and this should help. I started at

SW -244
GW 206

I would just like to shed 30lbs so hopefully I can get down to 210 before this challenge ends.

bigmomma, congrats on the nsv! that is great. keep up the great work!
kuchick, congrats on the onederland last week. must feel so good to see a 1 as the first number. I cant wait to get there myself.

However, I will share that this morning I reached a big milestone officially having lost 100 pounds!! And the crazy thing is 1/4 of it has been since the start of this challenge. I owe the quicker pace to really stepping up my workout and making it a priority. Clearly, work will be there tomorrow, my fiance can eat a bowl of cereal for dinner, I can go grocery shopping on the weekend, but I won't be able to get back that workout. I think putting it above all else right now has helped significantly.

Everyone, keep up the great work and lets keep eachother motivated and focused. I told my fiance my milestone today...and he just doesn't get it..He never had a weight problem, or so minor its not enough to care. So you all know what its like which is why its important that we shout out all of our hard earned accomplishments!

I am still here..struggling but determined to keep going. I initially wanted to be in onderland by may 1st and now I don't think it's going to happen at this rate. I am making 210 lbs my new goal for the beginning of May.

I know what you mean about your other half not understanding what an accomplishment it is. Mine doesn't get it either, oh well :) Maybe that's one reason I got this way in the first place???
You are so right about focusing on yourself, for once:) and sooooo true about the exercise, I never thought about it like that before. I think you just caused me to have an epiphany!!!! Thank you!!!!

Hey ladies Im still posting my weight and everything I just forget to post and bump the thread. Ive been preparing myself mentally for this move in a couple of weeks. My anxiety is threw the roof. Its weird how Im so happy to be moving but yet Im having panic attacks which I rarely have had in the past. Everyone says this is normal to be stressed but its so annoying since Im really excited about Colorado.

I hope everyone else is having a better week mentally then me. I have been tracking everything and I bought a scale to weigh my food. Its so weird how on labels it says 1 cup equals X amount of cals, but when I weigh the amount of food that I get from 1 cup it is about 50 cals more then it says on the box. So Im happy to have my food scale since I was underestimating the weight of food.

So it's looking like I have about 20 pounds to lose in two months. Is it possible? I've never lost ten pounds in a month before and I would like to preferably be in onderland by May 1st, but at the very least (most) be 200 and make the doctor very happy on 4/30.

It took a bit, but I think I found my stride and hopefully I can get to 200lbs. by my doctor's appointment on 4/30 or maybe stretch it to one more pound and make it to onederland!

I think, for me, making it to onderland is going to be the hard part of this journey. I've been in the 200s for so long (and didn't even realize that I had gotten so heavy until I was diagnosed with a weight-related illness and my weight had topped at 257!). Once I get down to a weight that starts with a "1," losing the rest will be much easier.

Hi ladies I just wanted to post a update. Im gonna take a break from weighin myself every week. I have made the mistake of giving up from lack of progress on the scale. But the truth is that I am getting results just not on the scale. I have lost inches and I have decided to focus on that instead of pounds lost. I will weigh myself once a month but not every week like I have been doing. Im gonna continue working out and tracking my food like I have been doing for several months now. I am down 3 lbs since we started the challenge and Im sure I am down several inches since we started. I will post my weight on here once a month, so yeah Im not gone but I just wont be updating my weight weekly. On a good note my pants are getting loose and my shirts aren't as tight as they were. Eventually the pounds will start to come off but at this time my body is getting rid of fat as well as gaining lean muscle, so Im gonna give my body time to transition slowly without going to drastic measures to drop the pounds. I will still be here to cheer you ladies on :)

I just joined this site last week so I am just joining this challenge. I am leary about saying "I'll lose X number of pounds in X number of weeks" because I've done that so many times in the past and not succeeded. This time WILL be different. I just have to be realistic. Maybe I'll just say "I'm gonna lose as much as I can possibly lose healthily by May 1 by keeping myself on plan and continue to exercise at least 5 days a week." :carrot:
