Default Just For Today Challenge, July 19

Have you been struggling to get on program, no matter which program you are trying to do? Why not sign in here just for today, and come back and show us how you did. Sign up with any goals you want to.

I have been struggling, some days eating as much as 60 points. I found last week when I started this challenge, that even though I still overate, I did much better, knowing I was going to be reporting it here.

Join me if you like. I will probably start this challenge daily for a while. If anyone beats me on here in the mornings, and it hasn't been started, feel free to start it. Believe me, I will follow this challenge no matter who starts it.

This has become a wonderful supportive group!

Since this is Sunday, whoever meets their goals today, I will get you a blinkie with your name on it. But be sure and report early in the day what your goals are.

My Goals For Today are:

At least 1 Fruit
At least 1 Vege
At least 32 oz water
At least 5 minutes of exercise

I never exercise on Sunday. We have a church picnic, and it's hard to know what there will be to eat, so I'm not really putting a limit on points today. If I meet the other goals today, I will be proud of myself.

My three goals for today:

Do not eat any Girl Scout cookies.

No fast food.

Exercise at least 30 minutes.


Thanks for the Just for Today challenge thread! I met all three goals. Knowing I would be help accountable here really kept me on track.

Since I haven't been able to make the 1800 calories, I am going to try for 2000 calories today. So far I have had 240 calories.

I am done eating for the day but even with the bump in calories I am still over. I had lunch at Wendy's which pretty much set me up for going over. Sigh. Tomorrow is another day. Good news is I stayed away from all snack crackers, chips and sweets. I am glad to be moving away from the junk food but I still need to get control of the total amount of food I am eating.

CharlieJune: Yay for the 12 mins of walking you did on your new, no-longer-the clothes-horse, treadmill.
Terapet: Yay for day three of no crackers, chips, and sweets. That is fabulous! Today I had crackers that were on my plan. Bran crisp bread. 12 calories, 5 g of fiber. 2 filled me up for hours. PM me if you want more info.

I had to work at it, but I reached all my goals. It's 1 a.m. and I just did my 5 minutes execise and I'm finishing my water. I had carrots and fresh fruit today. The reason I started this thread for myself today is to make me realize Sunday is not an off day like I tend to think.

A blinkie is a little icon that blinks that can have pictures or words on it. You can put it in your signature since it's little.

Charliejune, is that the name you want on yours? Any favorite colors?

Do I owe anyone else one?
