Red face Just For Today Challenge, July 15

Have you been struggling to get on program, no matter which program you are trying to do? Why not sign in here just for today, and come back and show us how you did. Sign up with any goals you want to.

I have been struggling, some days eating as much as 60 points. I found last week when I started this challenge, that even though I still overate, I did much better, knowing I was going to be reporting it here.

Join me if you like. I will probably start this challenge daily for a while. If anyone beats me on here in the mornings, and it hasn't been started, feel free to start it. Believe me, I will follow this challenge no matter who starts it.

We had a great time yesterday on this challenge. Anyone is welcome to join.

Confession: I did great yesterday, and then before going to bed, I blew it and had 9 more points which put me over. So I'm adding another goal to my list today.

My Goals Just For Today: 36 Points Maximum
Brush My Teeth at 10:30 p.m.
Because No Eating Past 10:30 p.m.
Upping my water to 48 oz. just for today
Exercise 2 miles WATP
20 Minutes extra exercise: resistance training, weights, stretching, etc.

Good Morning Ladies,

Today's the day! (I say this everyday ). I love the fact I was very close to OP yesterday. My plan today is to eat under 1800 calories. So far I had 300 calories for breakfast. Yeah me, I did not eat the cookie that I was thinking about eating nor did I bring anything to munch on at work. However, I am probably going out for lunch today which could spell trouble. Good thing I have to report back to you so hopefully I will be good and not disappoint myself.

IntheMidst-Well at least you only need to drink half of what you drank yesterday. That should improve your mood some. Good for you for sticking to your detox plan. That must be challenging but it will be worth it in the end.

Okay JazzyPeggy,-No more self sabotauging right before bed! You can do this

Thanks, Terapet, I didn't think of it as self sabotage, but it is, isn't it?! We will both do good today.

Sorry Peggy-It would be self-sabotage if it was me, but bedtime is not one of my trouble times. Maybe you were really hungry! Just keep workin' on eating within your points. I am still trying to figure out how I can eat Mexican for lunch and stay under 1800. Oh, and eat dinner too.

Terapet, no sorrys needed. I just never thought of it as self sabotage, but it is.

Now me, I would eat my mexican, then I would eat a lean cuisine for my dinner.

Okay so I ate the mexican for lunch. I am guessing I used 1225 calories for lunch. (I left about a 1/4 on the plate) That doesn't leave a whole lot for dinner. Oops. Well I just need to make the best of it. I plan a salad for dinner with just a small portion of protein. Of course I will have to get by with less salad dressing then I usually do but that's the point of counting calories, right? Right!

Hey JazzyPeggy and Terapet,

Eat on plan (FS detox) - so far
More than 1.5 liters of water. - done
Walk the dog. - done
Get in a better mood. - done

Will have to see if I make it till bedtime. I have cravings tonight. Thought I was done with those. But I guess it's really too soon.

Hope you both are having an easy easy time of meeting your goals.

Anybody want to play this game tomorrow?

A

P.S. Terapet - I'm in Athens.

Missed my goal by a bit today. I don't know exactly how many calories I had for dinner but I am sure it was more then 275 calories. I will need to try again tomorrow.

inthemidst-I love Athens. The downtown is so cool. Congrats on your progress today. Hope those cravings don't cause you too much trouble.

Cool, inthemidst, I never had a friend in Athens. Congratulations on reaching your goals.

Now about me,
I'm almost embarrased to post this, I didn't hit any of my goals. I did exercise but that's the only one.

45 points today
I had company all day and it really thru me off my routine.

Terapet, we have tomorrow to try again.

Yes, let's do it again for sure!

Hi Everyone,

An update :
Stay on plan (FS Detox)-nope
Drink more than 1.5 liters of water - done
Eat no crackers-nope
Walk the dog- done

Didn't do as well as I had planned. The cravings got the best of me. And then I weighed myself - not on plan.

I will do better today. Same plan, different day.

JazzyPeggy and Terapet, Today is a new day and thank goodness for them.

Ash

7/16:
Stay on plan (FS Detox)
Drink more than 1.5 liters of water
Eat no crackers
Walk the dog

I love the eat no cracker goal. I have trouble with snack food also. How is it possible that something so small can pack such a wollop calorie wise. I am hoping if I can just get through a number of days without them that the cravings will lessen. It sure is difficult in the meantime.
