  • Well, getting off the computer was my plan...

Delphi~ I knew I was forgetting something! Jacqui's post reminded me! I love your new avatar pic! You're beautiful!!!

Jacqui~ a duck butt...hahaha, I've never heard that one before! Hee hee, I think I'd rather hear that than 'ghetto booty' though. Yeah, I'm the same way with the boobs--but you won't hear me complaining--I loved when I had a little chest, I have a pretty big rib cage and it's always been tough for me to wear button up shirts so the smaller the boobs, the better they fit!

Sharmar~ glad to hear that all is well, we'll miss you, but if you decided to come back--we'll be here for ya! Take care!

Okay, really going now--heading to bed because 5:30 comes quickly...and I have my HIIT session tomorrow to get in! Have a great night girls!
  • Delphi – I see you’re not too far from Onederland either! I hope you don’t make the mistake I did and decide to vacation on the brink of Onederland. TWOderland seemed a bit too comfortable!

    Urockmom – Thank you! ☺

SuzyQ – Welcome Suzy! I’m sure you can lose those 5lbs! This is a new month and time for a fresh start. But any losses are good losses!

Glutio – Congratulations on losing 5lbs! Wowza! That’s quite an achievement. 10lbs will be gone in no time.

econ nerd – I’m sure you can work off those 10lbs! but I agree. Any loss is good! Be proud!

crazymamaof4 – That camera is very sexy. I absolutely love my Sony Alpha. Oh, hehe! Let’s not forget to mention how fabulous you look – and wow! – the differences! WTG!

gatorgirl6 – You’re lucky to lose with TOM! I gain about 5lbs and don’t come back down until a day or two afterwards. And if I’m good, I’ll be down a pound or two as well!

Great day OP and got a 2 mile walk in as well!
  • I would like to join for this month

I want to lose 15 pounds this month!
  • Quote: Jacque~ ooh, you bad girl you!!! Jacque's goin' comando everyone! My oh my, the cat's outta the bag now!

Feeling like I have more time on my hands than I should...the treadmill is missing me I think...I think I hear it crying...'don't you forget about me, don't, don't, don't, don't...' Wow, that's really showing my age isn't it?
Ha Ha!!! There are so many advantages to it...no granny panties...ever, no panty lines, no wedgies, saves money, less laundry, boyfriend likes it...just to name a few!!! Plus it is so FREEING!!

I'm sure the reunion with the treadmill was wonderful...hope you had a GREAT workout!!!

    Quote: Hey everyone,

Y'all have been so nice and so encouraging!

. . . So I felt it only right that I let y'all know that I've decided to drop out of this challenge, and also the exercise challenge. I'm still doing well with both my weight loss and my exercise and there's no big issue going on; it's more along the lines learning what works best for me and what doesn't work very well for me.

Thank you all, and I wish all of you well.
Sorry you will be leaving us...good luck on your journey...come back and visit sometime!!!

Quote: Joci, congrats on getting a new stainless steel grill!

Well, ladies, I got half of my 60 minutes of exercise in, but I have to go hit the exercise bike now to get the other half in!!
So I wasn't willing to pay for them to deliver it (it is already assembled), so I asked my ex boyfriend, a cop who I dated for over 10 years (broke up over a year ago) if he could help me bring it home. He has a truck....Anyway, he said yes but of course I figured I need an extra pair of hands, so my new boyfriend will be at my house waiting for us to bring it home. They have never met. Plus my Mom and Sophie will be here and the old BF has not seen her since last summer. They get along great....This should be interesting. Can't wait to grill this weekend...oh what should we make!!!???
Good job on going back to workout...I have only split my workouts a few times...except for when I do cardio at the gym and then head to the pilates studio down the street. I find it hard to do something, say in the am and then go later after work to do something else. I like to get it all done at once!!!

    Have a GREAT day EVERYONE!!!
  • Good Morning Ladies

Jacque ~ Oh my, and ex cop. I'm drooling over here. Sounds like that may be an interesting situation. Do let us know how that turns out.

    dandk0204 ~ Welcome aboard!

WormwoodDoll ~ hehe, no vacations for me. I'm hanging around and gonna try to stick it out. I think TOM is about to rear his ugly head, which may or may not hinder progress momentarily. We shall see! Great job on staying OP and for getting that exercise in girly!

crazymamaof4 & Jacqui ~ Thanks girls! No extra weight loss just bored. I've been taking pictures often (trying to keep progress pics as I go through the journey), though I only wish I had something fancy like your camera. WOW, it's beautiful. I'm assuming you are a photographer?!?!

Sharmar ~ I wish you the best of luck. This journey is all about finding "ourselves" and so I can totally understand. If at any point you would like to come back, we would be more than welcome, to have you.

I think I got everyone I missed. I got in bed really early last night. I'm usually in bed by eight and asleep by nine, but I can almost assure you I was asleep by eight. My energy levels are being depleted. I think TOM is approaching. Dang him! I think it was some time around the 10th last month, so I wish he would just come on and lets get it over with already.

So I have cardio this morning with the fitness coach and my two oldest fell asleep here in the living room, where I work out. This will not be pretty. Do I wake them up, or just try to do it around them, which essentially will wake them up anyways? Well one way or the other momma is getting her minutes in.

You know, I've been doing the math. If all goes as planned this month and I do lose 8 more pounds to hit goal, that will put me at 204lbs. Five pounds away from Onederland. That gives me exactly fifteen days to lose five pounds, and get to Onederland by my birthday. This is my goal, it's very doable, but hey if I'm only a pound or two away by my birthday, I will still consider that a victory.

It is supposed to rain today! The weather man gets a big boooooooooo from me this morning. Rain means, all of us have to stay cramped up in my humble abode, all day! If the boys can't run it off outside, they will most definitely run it off in here. Ya me..eh?

Jacqui, do you ever make a to do list at the beginning of the day? I actually did yesterday, because I have a huge problem letting the day go by without doing things. It can get so hectic here at times I simply forget. So yesterday I actually made a todo list and actually did everything on my list. I think I will do that again today. I set times for me to do things or what order I wanted to do them in and it actually worked. Lets see if I am as efficient today. My computer is my hub, it is where I find myself many times a day, so I keep my list right here on the desk, so I see it every time I sit down, so hopefully, it triggers the "oh snap" I need to get up and do that.

At any rate, you ladies have a great day. Remember your smiles and drink plenty of WATER!
  • Thanks for the welcome back everyone

Just a quick update: My starting weight on June 1st was 244.6 so my end of June goal is to be ten pounds down or less than 234.6

Have a great day everyone - time to get my lunch together and then head to the gym before work.
  • Welcome back Econ nerd! I don't see how I missed your post. Well, this thread moves really fast, so it's possible. Enjoy that morning workout!
  • Goooooood morning ladies! Well, it's another fanflippin'tastic day! Are you ready for it?

WormwoodDoll~ haha, yes, Bubba is a sexy beast isn't he (had to name him when I got him and hubby always jokes about me having a boyfriend named Bubba, so...) Thanks so much for the kind comment. Great job staying OP and getting that walk in!

dandk~ You'll love this group, the ladies are awesome--we're rather chatty, so be prepared!

Jacque~ hee hee, I don't know if I could swing going comando...but, maybe one day if I'm feeling brave. The treadmill and I did not reunite. I've decided to give this new workout routine one week and if the scale doesn't budge and I don't lose any inches--I'm keeping the routine and adding back 30 mins of walking on the treadmill nightly. Congrats on your new grill btw! Do keep us posted on how the Boyfriend Meetup goes!

Delphi~ No, I'm not a photographer, well I mean...I don't get paid to do it or anything. I want to be one when I grow up...maybe. I have Dream Photography watermarked on everything so that people are less like to swipe them off Flickr and because that would be my business name if I ever really decided to do it. I still have tons to learn. So, did you wake up the boys? Sorry about the rain--it rained here all day long yesterday! I kept waiting for it let up, and it just kept on and on and on! The kids were bouncing off the walls! Today is supposed to be better though and only 70!

econ nerd~ have a great workout!!

Jacqui~ Hey girl! Have you eaten your breakfast yet?

Well ladies, got my HIIT in this morning. I must be channeling Delphi or something because I woke up at 6:00 all by myself!! Even more impressive, I actually got out of bed and got dressed to work out!

The scale hates me this week. I've waffled between 171.4 and 171.6 all week! I know I usually stall out at the beginning of the week, but this is making me mad Alas, I shall not be deterred!!! I will keep on pluggin' away at this and kick things up a notch if I still see no loss at the end of the week. I was also kind of slacking on the water yesterday...I got my 64oz in, but not much more than that. I usually aim for double that--so I could be retaining. TOM might be around the corner too...I never know with him lately. I used to be like clockwork--28 days every single month, then I turned 37 and everything got all wonky! So, we'll see. Hopefully he's the reason I'm retaining and not losing...

Other than that, the only noteworthy thing would be my anxiety attack like feelings. I'm hoping it's just a fluke and not a signal that I need to up my meds--that would bum me out. Everything has been going so well so far. Sigh...we'll see. For now I'll just keep doing the deep breathing and heck, maybe I'll take up yoga!

Okay girls, I've rambled long enough! Have a wonderful day and be sure to...

    Drink Your Water!!
  • Good thing crazymomma has my back Jacqui, I forgot the breakfast reminder. So go eat girlfriend.

Crazymomma ~ Love me some flickr but I think you can set your pictures to where no one can get them. If they do try to download them or whatever, it will be blank. However, the watermark is a great idea. I actually created another account, just for this weightloss journey. So I could periodically, post pictures along the way. Don't get too discouraged by Darth Scale. You are one with the force young padawan. Sorry had a nerd moment. I have a lot of those. At any rate, I found that I just get up as well on my own. I don't know if it's just that I'm excited to start another day of this journey, or if it's my body's way of telling me it's ready for cardio. Either way, I really enjoy getting up early and getting that hour out of the way. Although, I'm exercising, it's still "me" time..ya know?

Anxiety attacks...eh? Hmmm...dunno dear! I keep ya in my thoughts and prayers and just hope it will pass. The only time I ever had them, was every time I had one of my children. Four c-sections can bring on the anxiety...every time it did. Remember the last one quite well. That darn nurse trying to tell me to calm down, without a smile I might add. I just wanted to knock her little butt out. I was sooooooo fat they couldn't get the epidural up my back right. They tried not once but FIVE effin' times! **** yeah, I started panicking. Stoopid doctors. But other than that, dunno much about them. I am sorry you have them, I wish I could make it better or give you some advice...alas, I can not. I'll just do my best, to at least put a smile on your face, when I can and support you through this.
  • CMo4~ Good freakin'-tastic morning to you too! I am sorry that the scale is not being cooperative and moving. BUT at least it isn't going UP. You keep up your exercise and eating OP and I know it will start movin' for 'ya! Keep girl!

Delphi~ Oh! Where would I be without my list? I keep a running To-Do list on the kitchen counter, usually with everything for the week. But sometimes things are moving so fast that I can't keep up. Usually when that happens I sleep really poorly and wake up in the middle of the night with "To-Do's" running around in my head. I have to get up, write everything down, and then I can go back to sleep. Crazy, I know.

dandk0204~ We're looking forward to getting to know you. Just jump right in and start

Jacqui~ Good job on your eating yesterday!

NSM~ You have a great day and keep

SupaChix~ Here's a to help you keep a positive attitude today! We are all for you!

FSA~ Believe me, I understand how hard it is to keep on truckin' through this when things just seem to be stalled forever. I think that you know what works for you, your bod is just fighting all the way. It has to learn that you are going to continue to feed it this healthy food and do your exercise and it will adjust. I have felt like I have to increase the intensity of my workouts a bit to try and get the scale moving. We'll see what happens. And just FYI, I hate pre-packaged meals altogether. Just loaded with chemicals and I don't think it tastes like real food. I would rather heat up a package of plain frozen veggies if I am stuck for a meal.

Blondie~ Glad that you are doing great on your eating and exercising. I agree with no weighing in when TOM hits. Nobody needs the frustration!

Jacque9999 Big on the grill. Just so many opportunities for really yummy, fresh, healthy foods in the summer right off the grill.
And on the BF situation. Keep us posted.

gatorgirl6~ Good for you for being POP!!!! You keep working it and you will make that goal and get that BMI down to normal in no time.

OK, if I missed anyone, I'm . It is just crazy how fast things move in this thread. I had a great day OP yesterday. Did my ST in the morning and then 40 mins of cardio on the elliptical followed by a dinner of fish & veggies. Today will be kind of crazy as it is DH's B-Day and I have lots to get ready so I probably won't be back until tomorrow morning. But, I am going to stay OP and avoid that b-day pie. Beautiful morning here, nice and cool, so I am going off on a run. Have a terrific day ladies and oh,

on the Panties and **** Yeah!!!
  • Okay I got my stretching in last night and it felt great! The gym this morning was tough, but I made it. I know it is going to get easier and then I can push myself further. I am so excited that dinner will be waiting for me when I get home because it is crockpot night. Stuffed porkchops with veggies!
  • Urockmom ~ Well it's working for me so far. I know I need to do things, but it helps when I see them and can cross them off. Happy Birthday to your hubby.

dollypie ~ Mmm..sounds like a great dinner waiting on you. I love my crocpot, when I cook, it's either in the oven or my crocpot.
  • Thursday Weigh in - Down another 2lbs! Woot Woot!
  • LaurenA on the two pounds.
