Hello everyone, just wanted to check in since I haven't in a while. I've had a stressful week and have had to stay up really late writing papers, which is usually when I end up stress-eating. (Chocolate, of course.) But since I've had my food diary to keep me accountable I've been really good about keeping within my calorie range. It's also pushed me out the door for a few late-night runs even though I felt like I didn't have time for them, because I knew otherwise I would be over my cal limit for the day! I went all of week 2 without chocolate, which was my mini-goal, but I have had it since then. But in carefully measured servings that I could "afford" calorie-wise. So I'm feeling great and have lost 3 pounds, so I'm hoping I can keep up this pace, meet my 5-pound goal for May, and lose another 5 in June.

Just in time for the cruise!! And true, anyone would be a fool to think about messing with our house, lol! Mastiffs are called gentle giants because they are so sweet and so good with children, but they are also amazing guard dogs, extremely protective.

Hey, it's not a loss, but it's something right? I used to have to grab on to the door frame to get over it and now I'm hurdling over that thing. Ok maybe not hurdling but I'm clearing it with no problem and no assistance. 


At least you exercised some moderation. Hope you enjoyed yourself! I think you have earned it!
