Hi Nicoyaangel. I either walk the dog, or use my cross country ski machine in the winter months. Today, There is no rain, so I will try for a hike. That is usually when I rack up the miles. I have a GPS and use it to "Geocache" which is kinda like treasure hunting. So at the end of the walk you get a little surprise! It is a lot of fun.
Well if I want to get some miles in, I better get moving! I will check in later tonight to see how many miles our little group has gone. I hope to add a big chunk of miles myself! Have a great day!!

I have a tredmil but it is shoved in a storage. I have to get it out. I should have kept it but never thought about it. I am going to get it out.

I am adding 3.66 miles that is for the gym yesterday and the walk I had today. I will most likely go to the gym I will record that.

Hi girls! I did 4.1 miles hiking today! It felt really good to get out in the fresh air. The dog absolutely was in heaven. I wish I loved it as much as she does, she would run all day long if I would let her! So my total is now 18.6 miles!!!!! I'm super-happy!
Way to go on racking up the mileage, Nicoyaangel! The treadmill is good for days that the weather is less than pleasant, and you can't talk yourself into getting ready and going to the gym...
Hope everyone has a great weekend planned. I am going to see the PBR bull riding show tomorrow night, this ought to be interesting.......:chin:

Of course my tredmil is in the very back of my storage room so when it's not soooo muddy outside me ad my fiancée plan to get it out. Thank god I only live 10 seconds driving distance from my gym. I could see it outside my bedroom window haha

I am logging in a mile. We walked stadium stairs last night. not sure about actual mileage, but I was a sweaty mess, and out of breath! Hope everyone is getting some activity in.
I just bought a weight machine off craigslist. Yay! Now I have my own little work out room!!

Hey!!

I took the weekend off. I did A LOT of dancing on Friday night so I had a nice workout there. My legs are still killing me haha

But, back to the gym tomorrow after work. We are all still doing an awesome job!!!

Hi Nicoyaangel! I did the nordic track for 2.5 miles this am, then the weather cleared up so the do was whining to go for a walk. I gave in and we got another 2.5 miles in. that should help make up for the stadium food on saturday! 24.6/50 almost half way!!!
Did you get your tredmill out yet??? That will really help you rack up the miles fast! Awesome job on losing 5lbs! I am jealous!

No not yet ... It's still muddy out there so I have to wait since it's the first thing we put in the back storage... I hate mud haha

Good evening!!!! Did you get your walk in today Nicoyaangel? I had to force then guilt myself in to it!! I decided I would just do a mile. But I was yacking on the phone, and when I looked up it was very exciting to see 2.5 miles!!! Then I did lower body weight routine on my fancy "new-to-me" home gym!!
Hope things dry out for you soon, so you can get at your treadmill.

hmmmm? Looks like we may have lost the other girls.....I hope not though!
Even if you don't make the whole 50, the efforts will be rewarded on the miles you do get in.

I was thinking to myself ... I have to watch the biggest loser and then law and order and said well it would be too late to hit the gym ... Watching this show is making me say forget the time get your butt to that gym ... So as soon as my fiancée gets home I am out of here .... I missed waaaaay too many days and I do want to make my 50 miles.

Yea I noticed it's just you and me. I'm in!! I need to keep this up. I hope you stay around so we can do 50 in February :-)

I had to make up some time for over-indulging with cheese cake for a good friends birthday! So I really hit it tonight after work!! I did 3.5miles on the Nordic track ski! Needless to say, I feel much better, and have lost all the guilt!! Yah!!!
We are having snow flurries here last night and tonight, I wish I was back in Cali!!!!

I haven't been to the gym since last week. The past 2 days I was at home with food poisoning blah and this weekend I was with my father celebrating his birthday. I am not lettin myself fall off track so I will be going back tomorrow. How are you doing??

I'm sorry you were sick, but I am glad you are getting back to it! That is all that matters! I have been plugging away, I did 2.2 miles today along with lower body weight routine. AND.... I am back on weight watchers starting today!! I am hoping with the muscle I have built, the fat will just melt off me, with good food choices! I look forward to seeing your post for tomorrow. Just don't try to overdo it the first day back.

I FINALLY went to the gym. The windows were foggy and it was musty in there but I stayed for 3 HOURS!! OMG I am so sore but I feel good.

I am adding 8.14 hard earned miles to my total. And my fiance wants to go tonight so I am just going to do the bike since I didnt get to finish so if he goes I am going to finish what I started. I love the bike. I never did it before but you can rack up some good miles on there. I did 3.22 miles in like 15 min and it took me 1 hour to do 4.25 on the eliptical machine. Sheeeeeesh!!! haha

Oh and I weighed myself today (I hate the scale) but I am down 4 lbs. Yay!!!! I think it would have been more but I ate before going to the gym for some fuel. Not a lot I had subway. MmMmMmMm I love subway LOL

Keep on going girl!! We are going to make it if it kills us lol

Went hiking/geocaching today.... put some serious mileage in! 7.2 I am pooped!!!! but it was a beautiful day, and the first time it has not been raining,snowing, or freezing when I am off!!!!! I have also been on weight watchers for 3 perfect days now! Maybe this time it will actually work!

I am going to work my butt off this week to try and make it. I think I can if I stick with that bicycle and do another 3 hours at the gym. That was fun!!

I got so excited last night after I totalled my miles up!!! If I can keep it up, this will be the most miles I have ever done in a month!!!!
You are doing great considering your time with food poisoning, just keep it up! I think the commitment to keep going even though you got a little off track is more important than the actual number of miles you get. Because, most people like myself, would say, there is no way... so I might as well just quit! I really admire you for saying "I am going to kick my own butt!" That is awesome! I think you can get the miles in with an attitude like that! Also, since you found something you really enjoy, it will make it that much easier. Good luck at the gym, I can't wait to see your mileage .

Lewisempire i'm sorry i havent joined this month cuz i was travelling a lot and there was no pc where i went but i did a great deal of walking unfortunately i also did a great deal of eating lol so i didnt loose any weight.now that i'm home i can post the miles i walked in these last days of this month .i'm so proud of you and Nicoyaange for being so strong and persistent.Good luck ladies

YEEEEEEHAAAAAWWWW! I DID IT! 2.4 miles on the ski machine, and upper body weight routine. I am over 50 miles as of 20 min ago! Had to kick my butt this AM, mentally I kept telling myself, "I can slack today, I have almost all my miles in....." I finally had to weigh myself and get back to reality..... I hope you both have a productive day with lots of miles under your belt.

today my fiancé bought a new car but after we took a drive to the beach where we walked and walked and walked LOL I'm going to clock in one mile for that because we didn't realize there was a closer parking lot then where we parked and we walked around for a while and then had to walk all the way back LOL but it was a nice workout for the both of us and also romantic heehee .... I didn't hit the gym but I got some walking in. I will clock in my miles for tomorrow .... Now that he will get home and hour and a half early since he no longer has to take public transportation there is no excuse for him not to go so he said he will go to the gym with me. I hope he does

Sounds like you had a fun time, and got some exercise. It always seems easier that way. I did another 2.8 miles today on my ski machine, that was not much fun. But, I felt good after. I hope you make it to the gym, sounds like you have a new partner!

Look at you!!! You still have days left and your over 50!! That is awesome. Keep going ... that way next month you can try to beat this month. LOL Just a thought.

Ok ready for my number for today. I finally got my fiance to go to the gym with me and I got on that bike that I love so much. And also did a few other things.

My total number for today: 10.74!!!

Let me tell you an hour on that bike hurt my tooshie but it was well worth it haha

I didnt change my little guy down there in my signature for the mile I did yesterday since I was reporting from my phone so I am going to move my little guy up 11.74 miles.

Why do I feel like my legs are not going to want to take me to work tomorrow? haha

Looks like you found your niche, 50 miles is right around the corner for you!
Did your Fiance enjoy the gym?
If your legs are sore today, try Ibuprofen, Motrin, or aleve. It helps a lot. And just walking around will get the muscles to loosen up too.

I squeezed in 2.6 miles on the ski machine. I have been tracking my calories of Myfitday, but just switched to thedailyplate. It has a lot more items already entered in so you just have to click. I will weigh in officially tomorrow AM, but as of this morning, I have lost 7.5 pounds this week! Of course, it will only show as 3 pounds on my clicker because I had gained up to 216.6 (4.5 pounds) the 2 weeks prior to that. But I did keep exercising, so It could have been way worse. Anyway, back to my point, I thought you might like to check it out. Have a good night!

I'm going to try an make it to the gym tonight since I'll be gone the rest of the weekend. I hope I can get as close to 50 as possible but I am so happy with the miles I have completed. I will make a lot more room in February for the gym or even walking at the park. My poor dogs needs a walk outside LOL

Nicoyaangel, you really have done a great job this month. It does take some time to make it a daily habit. And now that you have found the bike, I think it will be a lot easier for you to rack up the miles. I would have a hard time if I had to drag myself to a gym. I have my equipment at home, so it stares at me. But at least I don't have to "get ready, and go" to do my workout. So hats off to you for your dedication!
Don't forget to post your final mileage....I have my fingers crossed for you.
