    What am I doing to myself! It killed me to change my ticker. I didn't overindulge over the holiday or anything. But I did basically starve myself for the week prior which I think really slowed down my metabolism and dehydrated myself. I need to do this the right way..but it's soooo hard. I just want the quick fix. But I know that it has to be a lifestyle change, not a diet. I haven't been to the gym in weeks. I need to go back and kick my metabolism back in gear.

  • I maintained over the holidays. Okay -- so I'm going to look at that as good. I could have gained, but didn't. I had birthday cake (mine), had TOM, ate some Christmas cookies -- and I maintained, not gained.

    So today, I'm going to be happy about it. And in the next couple of days I'm expecting a loss. I'm going to make it happen!

  • i've slightly relapse over this past week and am up by like 10 pounds.. CRAZYNESS. I will be jumping on the challenge train as soon as the new one starts
  • Don't even know what my scale said today. I got several different answers. Whatever it is, it isn't pretty. One more family gathering on Sat. to make it through. I see light at the end of the food tunnel.
  • Up a pound and am pretty happy about that considering my over indulgent couple of days.

  • It's over! I'm so cured of Christmas food, it's not even funny! Megadose of sodium, carbs and calories, anyone? Back OP today. I've never been so happy to see steamed broccoli in my life, and that's the truth!

  • Hey fauxtini.. I'm right there with ya. I gained 5lbs somehow this week. Ugh. The holidays!!!! Stick with it. You have already lost so much. You are my inspiration!

    Well, I was right on track until Christmas eve and am still off the rails today. I figure that's not real weight and I should get it off next week.
  • My Christmas WOOSH continued today....we are onto challenge #42!

    I'm almost scared to type the number because it came as a bit of a shock even though I was perfectly on plan and in the gym on Christmas. I checked the weight 3x and the number kept staring back at me ....
