You're SO close to the next "decade" That's AWESOME!!! I can't wait to see the #170's! The #180's is my biggest barrier.. I can't seem to get past them! Hopefully I can bet them in the bnext few weeks!

Hi~I want to join in. Not sure how this works exactly. Do we set challenges for 0urselves? Do we post every day? Do we weigh in every day? I need something to kick start my weight loss in the right direction! I am totally going the wrong way! I was 179 two or so weeks ago. Here goes

You just list your starting weight (SW), Current Weight (CW), and Goal Weight (GW). SW is what you are and GW is 5 pounds less. Weigh as often as you want and tell us what your GW is. First person to reach 5 pounds wins and gets to start another thread! :)

Pat I'm SO glad you jumped in here with me! :yay: I think this will help us refocus. Little steps right? As was stated.. weigh in as often as you want. You know I weigh myself everyday anyhow, so I'll probably update all the time... but if you want to stick to once a week that works too!

I'm with you! the last challenge was only 3 days long! I was SO excited this morning because TOM left and I was going to post a #3.4 loss from yesterday - and then *BAM* FB won it, and I had to start all over! :lol:

There are SO many that are going to break through to the next "decade" during this challenge.. I'm inspired by that alone! It'd be AWESOME to get into the #170's FINALLY!

I don't understand the scale right now. Unbelievable. Skeptical. I'll call the doctor lady if it keeps up all this week. Otherwise, I'll chalk it up to really really ending a plateau. Since I was stuck for a month, and otherwise have lost regularly I'm really not too worried. I didn't lose this fast at nearly 300 pounds, didn't expect it now!

FB - That's awesome, but I'd be a little skeptical too. Have you significantly changed your diet and exercise in the last month? maybe your body is shedding the pounds in response... which would be a good thing. :) I see on your ticker that you're #1 PAST goal! :congrat: Have you set a new goal for yourself? I don't even know what would be a good range at 5'10"!

I'm the same today as yesterday, which means there's no upward fluxuation which is nice. :)

Yeah, it is strange. Nope, I haven't changed anything significant in the last month. If there's one part of my life that's consistent - it's my diet. Since starting I've never had a day off plan. Not once, always within my calorie and activity range.

The only thing I can think of is that I slacked for a few weeks on weightlifting. I went once a week. The past week my trainer and I upped it back up to 3x.

During that month of no loss, I did drop inches, lost a pants size. Huh.

Anyhow, I'll monitor it. I know it's not normal. It's not my scale either, I have two and they correlate.

Enygirl, I don't know what my goal is. My initial goal was to achieve a normal BMI, and that's happened today. I'm concentrating more on my physique and body fat percentage than scale numbers. In the past, on my frame 160 or so was just about right. But, I certainly didn't heft weights around! 174 isn't right for me though, so I'll continue on. I set little goals for myself... the amount of weight I've had to lose is just too overwhelming otherwise. I'll look at what the pretty ticker says for another day and then add a few pounds more to my goal. Works for me!
