Hi everyone

I am also having a pretty good day today. Had a good night's sleep and a good workout today so I am hopeful that when I weigh in on Friday those dreaded two pounds ~ and maybe more :) ~ are gone forever!! I am going to try and stay away from the scale until then to avoid further aggravation.

Hattie~ I am soooo hangin' in. I just am not going to give up now. So, I have decided to kick my own butt. :kickbutt:

Girls- I gotta say that I really don't see skinny jeans in my future but you go for it!!! :D

We are going out to dinner tonight so I am going to have to try and find something that I can eat. Why do they make things that should be good for you, like salad, be 800++ calories? They should be shot! *sigh* Oh well, maybe they'll have fish or something.

Have a great afternoon!!!

Christian 10-22-2008 03:29 PM

urockmom- where you going for dinner?? Maybe I can help you with some choices if I have been there :D

urockmom 10-22-2008 04:11 PM

Thanks Christie but it is just a local place so I will just have to make an educated guess. My big problem is that almost everything in restaurants comes with a sauce of some kind!!

barbarajean2605 10-22-2008 04:25 PM

Today is going well. I am staying on my plan and got my workout in. I hope everyone is doing well.

urockmom- Good luck at finding something to eat tonight. It's so hard for me to go out now. I've been trying to be more vocal and get things plain and watch my portions.

Christian 10-22-2008 04:27 PM

Oh no!! Good luck sis...you can do it ;)

Luckymomof2 10-22-2008 04:52 PM

I've been MIA.
I don't know if anyone noticed but I havn't been around here for about 2 weeks I think.
So much has been going on.
I'll try and give a short version.

My mom abandoned me when I was 2, she left me with my dad who was a drug addict, I was taken away from him and grew up in foster homes.
My whole life I've felt pretty lonely and out of place without family.
I woke up Saturday morning a couple weeks ago with this message in my myspace inbox.
" This may sound strage but I'm looking for my sister Shyleen, she was born in 1987. Could this be you?"]

I replied tohim and after giving him my phone #, he called and indeed he is my brother.
Our mother left him on a doorstep when he was a baby, he said he's been looking for me for years. I knew nothing about having siblings.
He said from calling around adoption agency's he discovered that my mother had abandoned 6 more children. So there are 8 of us all together!
I was so shocked.
Since then we have been chatting everyday and it has been pretty emotional.

So....
I have been off track with the weight loss.
I havn't been exercising one bit and I've been eating pretty much whatever I want. Last night I ate a double bacon burger. YIKES!!!
I was just feeling like I couldn't concentrate ion eating healthy. My mid was so consumed with emotions and everything else.

Well I woke up this morning and thought to myself. I cannot keep doing this. I have to learn to stick with it no matter what is going on my life.
So this morning I jumped back on that wagon. I had my special K for breakfast and did 30 minutes on the elliptical.
I tell ya though, after eating whatever I wanted for that while, I am now having so many junk food cravings. I know it's goign to be even harder now.
I also gained back 1 1/2 lbs.
I hope I can make my Thanksgiving goal, but I really doubt it. I would have to lose 8.5 lbs before then, so I'm just gonna do what I can do.

Well I hope everyone is doing well, I'm sure you all are. It's so nice to have you ladies here for support.

Christian 10-22-2008 05:39 PM

Shy- I missed you girl  I didnt know where you went, but I am SO glad to have you back ;) Girl it sure sounds like your life was thrown into a tailspin there for a few weeks, I know that must have been hard sis, I cannot imagine having that happen and how I would deal with it. That being said, :grouphug: I know that because of my hubbys vacation I had to readjust my goal so I now only have 5 pounds to lose, maybe you can do that too, and after this challenge is over, I have thought maybe we could stick together and go for a Christmas challenge one, and so on, I love this group of ladies so much I just hate to lose touch with any of you ;) Please know I am here if you need me

Luckymomof2 10-22-2008 05:59 PM

Thank you!
How many weeks till Thanksgiving?
A christmas challenge sounds great! Sign me up!

lene1974 10-22-2008 08:44 PM

Shyleen,
I can't even imagine how you must have felt discovering all that you have the last few weeks. I hope you and your brother can really get back the time you have lost. He must have really felt something was missing to have been searching all these years.
I think you're smart to get back on track and refocus on yourself. I wouldn't give the last 2 weeks another thought. You have been through a lot and that 1 1/2lbs will come right off again.

Christian, I think it would be great if we can all stay together too. I'm still going for 7 lbs. for Thanksgiving although I see time slipping through my fingers. I've been maintaining @ 150 for weeks now. These last 10 pounds are just plain hard to get off. I keep asking them to leave but they don't listen. :D

Tomorrow makes 5 weeks exactly till Thanksgiving. Safely losing 1-2 lbs a week would be between 5-10lbs. According to my math 7 pounds is possible. (I didn't even use a calculator :smug:) And I did make a big announcement saying I would lose 2 pounds this week. That would really help. Good Luck Gals!

bigmomma 10-22-2008 09:06 PM

Just a quick check in, dropped 3.4 at yesterdays WI. Oh, turkey dinner sounds sooo good right now.

barbarajean2605 10-22-2008 09:13 PM

Shyleen- Glad to hear from you. I can't imagine what you are going through. I know you'll be able to get back on track.

Things are still going forward for me. I have almost lost 10 pounds. I'm hoping to get to my goal, but I'm not sure yet.

Hope everyone is having a good night.

Christian 10-22-2008 09:18 PM

Shy- 5 more weeks :carrot: we can do it!!

lene- 2 pounds is VERY doable

bigmomma- Way to go on that 3.4 pounds!!! WOOO HOOO  You go girl!!

Well I wil try to lose at least 2 pounds by next Thursday....WE CAN DO THIS ladies!!!!

Christian 10-22-2008 09:19 PM

Barb...your doing just awsome!!! You will make your goal ...I just know it

bigmomma 10-22-2008 09:30 PM

I agree with Christian, WE CAN DO IT!!!!!! :thanks2:

FullSteamAhead 10-23-2008 06:56 AM

Goodmorning girls :)

I'm still here with you all but it's been a yucky past 2 days. I woke up with a horrible cold yesterday and just been laid up. My male kitty is regressing again so it's back to the doc for him today. THankgoodness DH is coming back today and can bring him down as I'm still sick. Planwise has been good despite being sick (and an off OP sat. night meal w/extra grains and 2 serv. grains yest. instead of 1). Ohhhhhh, it's a darn good thing I made extra a few days ago and froze some food. I was too sick to cook last night and did not have my planned meal so that frozen meal I had saaaaaaaved me big time!

Leneeeeeeee, speaking of kitties, I am sooooo glad that you found your kitty! : ) THat is wonderful news. What a nice lady that was to have taken in your kitty and take care of him. I am glad his kidneys are ok, etc..keep us poted. In the meantime, give your little "furball" a pet from me too. Bravo on the run........it got cold here too! brrrrrr.

Hattie, congrats on the 25 lb. loss...thats super :carrot::carrot: keep on truckin : ).

Jen, congrats on being in onderlandddd! wtg! : )

Christian, thanks for sending the good vibes our way, right back at you! : ) Are you planning to start a christmas thread like 1 month until christmas, etc. or joining the existing thread? Whatever you ladies decide or do, I would love to join you all as well. Count me in!!! :carrot:

urock mom, hope you had a nice time at dinner last night. I wish more restaurants would offer more healthy meal choices too! Some are finally coming around. We plan to go to dinner sat. night (I should be ok by then I hope). I really look forward to my night out but not sure where we are going yet. I weigh in tomorrow too, today will complete my 3 weeks on the SBD. Hoping for a loss, we'll see what happens. I hide my scale until the end of the week, I can't handle it otherwise......it drives me nuts! lol.

Barbara jean, congratulations on the loss :carrot::carrot:

Luckymomof2, I couldn't say it any better than the other girls. Good for you for getting back on track during this emotional time, keep up the good work : ) one day at a time.

Bigmomma, right on! : ) congratulations on the loss :carrot::carrot:

Hope I didn't leave anyone out, I'm a little slow this morning. As for me, I am just going to stay in and nurse this cold. Happy DH is coming back today. I took out some haddock to make dinner tonight and I am making enough to have it for dinner tonight and tomorrow. It's so nice to be here. I hope you all have a super day, let's keep on truckin' :)

Christian 10-23-2008 07:48 AM

Fullsteam- Oh sis, I hope you feel better quick  You be sure to get lots of rest today so you can spend quality time with your DH at that wonderful dinner your cooking ;)

I need your thought on the Christmas challenge ladies, should we just go for a Valentines day challenge instead?? That would give us a little over 10 weeks for another goal?? I forgot that it was only 4 weeks after Thanksgiving for Christmas  Let me know what you think...I just want to hang out with you guys so it doesnt matter what part of these boards we visit in, where you all go ...I go :grouphug:

urockmom 10-23-2008 11:15 AM

Goodness ladies! I left for a few hours yesterday and all kinds of things happened!

Fullsteam- I hope that you feel better soon! Colds are just awful and the older I get the worse they get!

Luckymomof2-That is some SERIOUS drama! I know that we all are sending you a big :grouphug: One thing that has come through loud & clear on 3FC is that we have to stop beating ourselves up about everything. You had a huge shock and were dealing with that. That's OK!!! Now you're back on track so good for you!! The exercise will probably really help with what are no doubt huge levels of stress. :stress:

Bigmomma- That is a great loss! :carrot:

Barbarajean-Good for you staying on plan yesterday. I did really well at dinner, plain steak and two helpings of veggies, but I totally blew it on two glasses of wine! So, I not only messed up the day but I felt awful this morning. :dz:

Christie-I think that after Thanksgiving (ONLY FIVE WEEKS! :fr:) I will probably do better with a short challenge to Christmas. Valentine's Day seems really, really, really far away. Especially once the cold really sets in and the days are short and the snow starts flying.... However, whatever goal will have to be pretty small because of the short time between the holidays and worse yet, the COOKIES! :)

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Kathy5509 10-23-2008 11:44 AM

Hi all, I just started yesterday, I'm not sure if it's too late to join the Thanksgiving Challenge. If not, I hope to loose 8 ponds before Turkey day. I've followed WW before, so I may find my way back there. Hopefully, someone will tell me if it's too late... Here goes....
Kathy

Christian 10-23-2008 11:47 AM

Come on in Kathy...You are welcome here  I have done WW in the past also and it works just great, So here is to your success

Luckymomof2 10-23-2008 01:08 PM

Goodmorning ladies
Thanks for all of the encouragement.
A christ,as challenge sounds good for a short say.. 5 lb challenge, but a Valentines one sounds really good to me to becasue Valentines day is mine and hubby's anniversary, and I'd love to be a smokin hot 118 lbs!!!

lene1974 10-23-2008 04:17 PM

Congrats Big Momma and Barbara on the loss. Fantastic!!

Barbara~I saw C25K in your siggie. Are you doing that program now or is that your spring plan? That's how I started running and I run anywhere from 3.2 - 5.5 miles now. I never considered myself a runner but running a 5K race was on my bucket list so I needed to get in shape. I'm a runner now :D Still makes me smile to be able to say that.

Christian~I don't care which way you decide to go with the challenge. I'm probably leaning towards Valentine's day. I think the 4 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas is not necessarily a time for losing weight for me. Not that I won't be taking care of myself and I still want some accountability but I doubt that I will be losing too much weight. That being said I'll go with the group's decision.

Fullsteam~I am so sorry about your kitty. I hope the vet can do something to help him. I hope you are feeling a little better, sorry you were down and out the last couple of days. :getwell: I use to do freezer cooking quite a bit. It was always wonderful to know my meal was in there and ready to go.

urock~ hi, I hope you had a great day :)

Kathy~ Hi and Welcome! Best of luck with your 8lb goal, you can do it!

Shyleen~ 118lbs. W.O.W.

Okay, so I decided to put my mini goal for the week on here to keep myself in check.
drink 64 ozs of H2O/daily
I know some of you probably have no problem doing that, but I struggle.
Anyone else have a mini goal this week?

Christian 10-23-2008 04:41 PM

Hi lene- My mini goal is....to exercise at least 30 minutes a day this week :D

I am thinking a Valentines Day challenge thread so far...BUT we can keep each other motivated with Christmas tickers through the Holiday and then update them to Valetines Day tickers after New Years...how does that sound???

Hattie22 10-23-2008 05:58 PM

Luckymom: May I call you Shy? :grouphug: Big hugs to you!!! I can't imagine what the last two weeks have been like for you.
First: I did miss you! I wondered if I should ask where you were but I kept quiet.
Second: Don't even worry about that small gain. Be proud that you can come back here and continue on with your plan of getting healthy.
Third: We are all here for you...anytime!!!!
I am so glad you are back!!!

Congrats to you Bigmomma!:woohoo:

Christian: I definitely agree with you. I don't want to lose anyone on this thread! I am in for Christmas and New Years and Valentines Day...etc..

I haven't loss anything in almost two weeks. I think it may be that I am not eating enough. I am going for 1400 calories. I get close to that ...probably average of 1250. I just realized though that I am not including calories burned in with that. The last two weeks I have increased my exercise and am burning about 400 calories a day. I use a pedometer and have increased my steps to around 13,000. I think I am suppose to have a balance of 1400 after burning. Does anyone know if this sounds right? Do you think I should eat more and see what happens? :hun:

Thanks for any help you can give.

Christian 10-23-2008 09:23 PM

Hattie- I am with you..try upping your calories a little and see if that wont break that plateau  Your doing AWSOME!

FullSteamAhead 10-24-2008 08:33 AM

Goodmorning everyone :)

Nice to see you all, as always! Caught up with the threads, ty for the good wishes regarding the cold. It still has a good grip on me and my symptoms are progressing so I might have to go to the docs! bliaxxxxxxx! lol. I never go for a cold but last year I developed full blown bronchitis and don't want that again! Anyways, enough about that. Glad you guys are here and I have your company

Happyyyyyy Friday to you all! The week seems to have gone by fast.

Christian, thanks girl. He missed his flight yesterday morning but he got home in time for dinner. The guy was so tired, it's a good thing I had cooked and we had dinner. I think your idea about that challenge sounds really good, that way it suits all of us! wtg! :) .

urock mom, ty : ) . I experience the same thing with colds now too, they are a lot hardier than they once were. I feel the same way as you about breaking it up into mini challenges, it helps keep me in line more and oh so true about the cookies and holiday stuff, lol :D. With Christians idea, we can focus on the christmas goal first and then the valentines one, sounds ideal for all of us! :carrot:

Hi Kathy :welcome2:

Luckymom, what a nice anniversary date! On Valentines day! :) That sounds like a great incentive and you can wear something smoking hot red ;). You know, you just gave me some thoughts! lol :D I am going to work on that one too!

Lene, ty so much as well : ). His apetite is better yesterday and today. The doc gave him some fluids yesterday and something to increase his appetite. Lene, I think that's a great idea posting a mini goal! I can't do any exercise right n ow but I can drink water! lol That will be my focus as well. Whenever I keep up with my water, I notice it aids in my weight loss.

Hattie, I typically stall after the first few months too. It could be your body stabilizing the weight loss thus far but I think your thoughts sound like a good idea. Not sure if your eating a lot of the same things everyday or so far but sometimes shaking up the menu can help kick things in gear. I notice with me (in the past) that sometimes even just one day of a protein spike can get things moving again for me. WTG on the workouts Hattie : ), keep up the great work!

For me, I just completed my 3rd week of SBD yesterday! Yipee, lol. I weighed in this morning and it looks like I lost 1 1/2-2lbs, somewhere around there. As soon as I feel better, I am going to go get a digital scale for more accuracy. In the meantime, it's a new day for us all and I wish you all a great one!.

Thanks again girls  keep up the great work all.

urockmom 10-24-2008 10:17 AM

Oh Happy Happy Day!!! :yay:

So, despite my tantrum on Tuesday when the scale was up 2 pounds I WI this morning and am down 2 pounds for the week!!!

Lene- you were right-i am totally unrecognizable. Of course, that is probably because this was me  naked in the bathroom this morning!

So, I am sending :goodvibes: and  to everyone this morning. I am going out today to buy some new workout clothes as that was my reward to myself for losing 10 pounds. I have some seriously, awfully, scary workout clothes, which wouldn't be a big problem if I only worked out at home. However, I live in a very small town and when I go out to run someone always honks and waves while I am in my coffee & pit stained t-shirt and shorts with holes in them. :D

Kathy - :welcome3: we are happy to have you on this journey to Thanksgiving (& beyond) with us.

So, I am off with the happy thought that I am a big LOOOOSSSSEEERRRR!

Luckymomof2 10-24-2008 11:42 AM

urockmom: WHOOHOO!!! I bet you feel great. Congrats on the 2lb loss.

Well I am so mad at myself this morning.
I did so good during the day yesterday with my eating then DH came home last night and said he wanted to take me to dinner.
We ended up going to Famous Dave's! How the heck am I supposed to eat healthy there? Even if they had healthy choices, how are you supposed to look at all the ribs and corn bread and say no.
Well of course I was weak and I pigged out.
A halk rack of ribs, corn bread, baked beans, fries, corn on the bob and a few buffalo wings.
I am such a pig!
Ugh well I can't take it back now.
I usually go easy on myself through the weekend, not this weekend.
I'm gonna be strict with myself, oh its gonna be hard.

Good luck to everyone today!

mkat321 10-24-2008 12:23 PM

Good morning ladies :) My flu seems to be lifting and I am feeling a bit more energy. Finally!

The kids are out of school today and it's rainy and nasty so I can't send them outside so I can get a video in :( Bah. I may take the plunge and drive the $8 to the gym just to utilize the child watch and be able to work out in peace

lene1974 10-24-2008 02:02 PM

Urock, You have much shorter legs and bigger eyes then I imagined! :p
Congratulations on the 2 pounds!!! Wahoo! We told you it would be gone before you know it. Enjoy shopping!

mkat~ glad you are feeling better, hope you get your workout in.

Shyleen~ Sorry you oopsed but that sounds really yummy. Try to be good but if you make a little slip don't write the whole day or weekend off. (like I do)

Fullsteam~ YAY!!! on the weightloss and congrats to 3 weeks of SB. I'm sorry you still aren't feeling better :( Take care of your self and drink your water

Hattie~ I would definitely try to eat more. Everyone is different but I know I stalled for a while and was exercising like crazy. When I upped my calories I started losing again. Good luck!

Christian, good luck on your mini goal! Exercise is your friend and so am I :high:

I need to exercise yet today. I had to be at work at 4AM (blech). I did awesome with my water yesterday and am 1/2 way there for today. Eating for today is on plan. I need to step away from the computer before it makes me sleeepppyyy.

Have a great day girlies! I'll check in later tonight!

FullSteamAhead 10-24-2008 02:18 PM

Hi again ladies :)

urock mom, way to goooooo! :) Congratulationssss! :) that sounds like a wonderful reward too! Hope you had a great time shopping today and found some neat new workout clothes! Congratulations on the 10 lbs. urock mom :) wtg!

Lucky mom, hey you girl ...hug. You are NOt a pig! For goodness sakes, this diet and plan business can be hard at sometimes and we all want a night out or whatever here and there so as to not feel deprived. Please dont beat yourself up too much. Honestly, I wouldn't have even weighed in after a night out like that, no way! for me, that could mean a difference of a few to several pounds! ( I used to weigh in a lot). I would be totally miserable if I weighed in after such a night. Just chuck it my lady and keep on going......it's probably fluid retention anyways! Focus on tomorrow and on making it a good day. Drink a lot flu id....... a lot of water and forget the other day okay? It's a new day! hug

Hi mkat : ) glad your feeling better.

Hi leneeeeeeeeee, ty! yikes! 4 a.m! Wtg on the water and op, trying here as welllllll. Not enough water yet today though! Damn, I need my ginseng! lol.

Keep it rocking girls, catch you soon .....hugs

urockmom 10-24-2008 02:55 PM

Shyleen- I am in with everyone. We all screw up but to me the key thing is to recognize it as that. In the past I would have sat down with you and had that meal on a regular basis and not thought anything about it. (Of course, that would be how I gained the weight! :D) So, I think you are way ahead by just knowing it and re-focusing.

[Just my two cents: I don't think it is possible to be in front of cornbread and not eat it. Just can't. Just really, really can't. :)]

Kathy5509 10-24-2008 03:52 PM

Hello all, Congratulations urock, 10 pounds!!!! That's fantastic, you really do rock. I'll have alot of time to myself this weekend, and I'm worried that I'll eat all the wrong foods. I'll have to come up with a project to keep myself busy or take some walks if the rain lets up.

This question is probably asked on a daily basis, but here I go anyway. I weigh myself everyday, is this wrong? Somedays, it gives me incentive to keep eating right, but if I've gained, I usually sabotage myself that day.
Just curious... TGIF Kathy

Hattie22 10-24-2008 05:51 PM

Hi everyone

Thanks for the advice. It helps to get others opinions!

Urockmom: Awesome!! Congrats on your loss!!

Luckymom: Yum! Just know that you pick yourself up and put yourself right back on the path. Don't be so mean to yourself. Love yourself like we love you! We would never say those things to you!

mkat321: Glad you are feeling better!

Kathy: I do the same thing with the scale. I swear it calls my name! :coach: I know that when I do lose a lb. I feel so happy that I can't wait for that feeling. When I don't lose, I feel disappointed. I think that I will probably have to start WI once a week...but I don't have the will power yet. I am using all of my :dust: on the food and exercise I don't think I have more to use.

I have to say....This is the best thread that I have found on 3FC! You chicks are fabulous! I can always count on an answer back. I think we know that we are important to the others on this thread that we need to check in...even for a minute.

Here's to us :hat:

Christian 10-24-2008 09:06 PM

Hey there chics! ;)

I did VERY bad today!! Had to vent and get to bed quick as my DD has a band trip in the morning and I have just got to get some sleep, I will be right back on track in the morning ( I promise!!) Big hugs to you all, and I will do personals in the morning

urockmom 10-24-2008 09:21 PM

Christie-I am sorry that you had a bad day but I am certain that you will be back on track in the morning. We know you can do it!

Kathy-I think that everybody reacts differently to the scale. Someone on 3FC talked about locking it in their trunk for a month! I was  because I thought that is probably what I should do but I just can't. I, too, weigh myself everyday but I don't "count" it (change ticker, etc.) till Friday. Soooo, if you have a bad day with the scale-and we do, we all do-then rather than sabotage yourself, rededicate yourself. More water that day, more exercise, stay OP, etc. Even if the scale remains your enemy, you'll feel better. And, don't forget that you can come here and vent. (As I did this week! :) we'll be here for ya!)

Hattie - :dust: right back at you! We all need it.

mcat321: so glad you are better!

lene-4am???? you are a stronger woman than I!

lene1974 10-25-2008 05:45 AM

I need and love my scale (most days). I weigh every AM but like urock said i don't count it until weigh-in day. It kinda keeps me in line. I try to not get too disheartened if the number goes up. The physiology of our bodies is such an incredible thing that I try to take into account water weight, sodium intake, hormones blah, blah, blah. I like to see an overall drop in weight over a period of time.

mini water goal
2 for 2

Have a great day ladies!!!

jen1019 10-26-2008 09:15 AM

Hey ladies, it looks like everyone is doing well! I haven't been around much, a lot going on lately. But I have been eating as well as possible as well as working out. Just a quick update- down to 198.4 pounds now. Yay! I just might make my Thanksgiving goal! :)

Christian 10-26-2008 10:29 AM

Ok back on track and doing WONDERFUL!! I had went to my grandmas house and then took her to a local Orchard and bought up a BUNCH of wonderful fruit and veggies...BUT then went to Cracker Barrel and made a total PIG of myself!!! :nono: SO needless to say...the scale went up 3 whole pounds!!! It is almost all gone again today I am at 159.5 this morning so I had better get busy for sure now and get really serious if I am going to meet this challenge goal

WAY TO GO Jen!!! You are doing wonderful in Onderland

Kathy- I weigh in everyday too, somedays I dont want too but I am an addict  I do think if it causes you to self sabatoge that maybe just 2 or 3 times a week might be better, but like lene said..you have to take into account that we are woman and our water weight fluctuate sometimes and just keep on track, in the end there will be a loss if you just keep up the good work

Here is a shout out to everyone else :cheer: Have a wonderful Sunday!!

FullSteamAhead 10-26-2008 10:38 AM

Goodmorning everyone :)

Jen, that is fantastic. Keep up the great work : )

How was everyones weekend? Hope you all had a nice time. I am feeling much better now. Planwise, its been a good weekend until last night. I was still under the weather and not up to going out and ended up having a planned off OP dinner (I could of least had wheat crust). After, I had a hostess cupcake! lol and no, that wasn't planned! Def. comfort foods for me. Good thing my apetite has been reduced and I didn't go too overboard.

This is our last and final week to the month and marks 1 month for me so my plan of attack is to make it a good week. I need to make it a very strict OP from here through thursday and get in plenty of water. Because I ended up having all those carbs (whites) last night I think I'm going to restrict my grain intake the remainder of the week and may do ph1 or have 1 serv. of grains on alternate days and work in some fruit instead.

That's my news for now ladies. I am just so thankful that I feel well again today and can get out for a drive with DH later. I also need to go to the market and stock up on a few things for my salads, etc.

Hope you all have a wonderful day. Tis a new day, let's make it a good one : ).

Good Sunday afternoon everyone :)

As of today we have 32 days until thanksgiving :) I can-not wait. I am still struggling, bouncing between 201.6 and 203 but I'm determined to make it.
