Good morning girls : )

Jessie, congratulations on the 12 lbs. lostttttttt :carrot::carrot::carrot:, that is awesome! :) Dh is eating with me too! He loves coming home to a nice dinner every night and exictedly asks "what's on the menu for tonight". The poor guy, lol, we were getting a lot of take out before. Sorry to hear about DH getting laid off, hang in there and keep us posted.

TOday is a new day and I feel so much better, thank god! It's going to reach the low 70's here today, yipeeee! Mom is coming over and we are going to catch some rays. Going to go for a nice walk with DH after work.

I wish you all a happy and successful day. Keep on truckin' ladies :)

lene1974 10-14-2008 01:58 PM

Hi Ladies!
I indulged on my children' b-day cake this weekend. Bad me. On the other hand I did run 5.3 miles that morning. The last 2 days I have been OP with my eating. I plan on running 5K tonight and have my SB friendly food planned out. I do need to start getting more water in.

Jessie, I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's job. Hopefully it will be for a short amount of time. Congratulations on your 12 pounds, that's fantastic.

Fullsteam, enjoy your walk. My DH likes my healthy dinners too.

Hattie, congrats on losing 2 more pounds!:carrot:

CHristian, great job resisting those brownies. They probably tasted horrible anyway. ;)

Bunny 10-14-2008 03:08 PM

Hello Thanksgiving Challengers!

Is it too late to join the challenge? I would really like to loose 14 pounds by Thanksgiving and I think this group and all the motivation I've seen here would be an awesome way for me to stay on target. :D

Christian 10-14-2008 04:14 PM

Come on in Bunny!! You are more than :welcome: here

Hattie- Way to go on those 2 pounds!!! Your doing so good!! ;) :balloons:

Fullsteam- Enjoy your walk and this beautiful day! ;)

lene- WOW 5.3 miles??? You rock chic! I am doing good to get in 2 a day here, and your probably right about those brownies, but I didnt check to find out :dizzy: I am proud of myself for that one. I also went and bought the SBD book today on discount so I too will be getting deeper into the program after my hubby gets back to work Saturday, I was in need of new ideas, and there are alot in there

Well all I am excited to see the Biggest Loser tonight..anyone else watch it???

lene1974 10-14-2008 09:56 PM

Hi Christian! If you see any new exercise ideas or any recipes that sound good, please send them my way. I could use a little shake up myself.

Welcome Bunny!

Christian 10-15-2008 10:46 AM

4. Stir in broccoli. Transfer mixture to a baking dish sprayed with Pam. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake 15 minutes

You are still on phase one right??

Well ladies I totally went off the deepend last night and I am up 1/2 a pound to show for it, I ate chocolate ice cream and a brownie!!! I just had to get that off of me, I am so glad my bubby goes back to work Saturday and I have collected what is left of my sanity and got right back on my plan this morning, I hate it when the foods are brought in and put in my face, I do not keep junk in the house when he is working, he really eats very healthy until his vacatoins and then he throws it all out the window, and I usually do too, so this has been one of the hardest weeks for me. He did buy a book written by Sly Stallone and the way he eats is pretty close to phase 2 of the diet I do now so I am just know once he starts it that I will not be tempted nearly as much. He does get one cheatday a week and that is on Sundays, and I usually have no trouble that day unless like now and TOM is running away with my sences  Have a great day ladies!! We can do it!!!

FullSteamAhead 10-15-2008 11:29 AM

Ladiesssssssss, good morning! I'm in a rush (my pc is giving me problems, connection troubles....so I will be back later on. Dh is taking a half day and is on his way home so I need to get ready.

:welcome2: to those of you joining the challenge. I hope everyone has a great day! BBL

jen1019 10-15-2008 01:09 PM

I haven't posted here in a while ladies- sorry about that. I'm doing well so far. Down from my start of the challenge weight, which was 208 pounds, to my current weight of 200.4 pounds. I'm almost out of the two hundreds! yay!

FullSteamAhead 10-15-2008 03:35 PM

Hi everyone : )

Christian, wtg on getting right back OP this morning! Having a good OP day and sipping on plenty of water, I'm sure you will undo that 1/2 lb. in no time  It sounds like you have had a lot of temptations there this week, that must be hard. You did good in avoiding all those temptations this week thus far. I don't keep any junk in the house either, the house is pretty void of anything not on my plan, except for a few of DH's things and the wheat bread I picked up which is eagerly waiting for me when I start ph1.5 ;). I know I am lucky to be in a position to be able to do that, it helps me a lot because if there is something in the house that I really like or is tempting, I will know its there and I will think about it and obsess about it which makes it much harder for me, especially in the beginning. Needless to say, under the current circumstances....I think your doing pretty darn good! Stay strong and keep up the good work :) Thanks for posting those recipes up there for us, that was very nice of you.

Oh, I watch biggest Loser too! I watched it last night, I just love that show, it is so inspiring.

Lene, happy belated birthday for your child : ). Great on the 5 miles, im sure you burned off that cake and then some!

Bunny, welcome :).

Hi Jen, congratulations on the weight loss :carrot: Your sooooooo close to onderland, keep up the great work :)

As for me ladies, I feel good because I finally got outdoors and got out for that walk. Dh and I went to the park and walk/hiked for an hour. IT's a good workout because the trails are very diverse and it's just so beautiful there, the time flies. It doesnt feel like exercise. Hmm, then again it does. DH took me up a couple of hills and I had to slow down a few times to catch my breath....he is a good person to walk with, lol :)
TOday , my focus is just being OP and drinking my water. Cooking chicken kabobs on the grill (with orange pepper and onion). I have them marinating in some market basket f.f italian dressing, fresh squeezed lemon, oregano, garlic powder, and pepper. IT's one of my fav. ways to eat chicken, in fact I made plenty so I am having it for dinner both tonight and tomorrow night along with a greek village style salad. (Athenos fat reduced feta is pretty good, I like it much better than el presidente f.f feta....and though both are a far cry from the imported stuff I'm used too at least the athenos brand is closer to what I'm used to).

I hope you all have a super and successful day ladies. So glad you are all here : )

Lekhika 10-15-2008 04:11 PM

Greetings! Eating has been on plan. I am really trying very hard to stop sampling the kids food..that's what does me in every time! Working out is OP. I wake up early and get it done though I find now a days...I enjoy the rigorous work outs and the alone time I get by waking up early...

Hey FSA! SO good to see you!

FullSteamAhead 10-15-2008 08:18 PM

Lekhikaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :) omg, what a nice suprise! I am so glad you stopped in! You were always such a big presence and motivator in our threads, gosh it feels so good ! : ) You have rocked it and you rock it my lady, you really do! SO glad you are here :).

lene1974 10-15-2008 10:14 PM

Christian, thanks for the recipes. I have 2 very stressful days ahead of me but hopefully can try that cheesecake one this weekend. I'm not on phase 1 but am several months into South Beach. I do a modified version that fits into my life as a soccer/PTA/and mother of 3 type person. My way of eating is 89% OP and 11% off plan. If I was more strict about South Beach I would have hit my goal months ago. Doing it my way has me 9lbs away from my goal without feeling deprived all the time. Sorry about your oops last night but great job getting back on track today.

Good job on the loss Jen!!!!

Fullsteam, that chicken sounds yummy. Great job getting a long walk in.

Sounds like you're doing super Lekhika. I would love to get my runs in early (but it's too dark lately) it makes me feel good all day.

FullSteamAhead 10-16-2008 10:02 PM

Hi girls : )

How is everyone doing? Hope you all had a good day.

Lene, I was wondering what phase you were in on the SBD. Thanks for sharing that info. That is food for thought for me down the road! Not yet for me because it is too soon but I think its great that you found your niche so to speak! Congratulations on your loss and being so close to your goal :)

Well ladies, today is the last day of the ph1 south beach diet. Just love it! We were talking about how the plan keeps your blood sugar levels steady and thus less hungry and less prone to go on a binge and I am experiencing the results which is really neat. I'm not hungry anymore at night after dinner (like I used to be). I think the veggies help a lot with that too.
Ohhh, my dad got me some fresh haddock today, 7 lbs! (he was in the seafood business and knows where to get the good stuff). I'm really happy about this because I knew I would tire of chicken sooner or later and seeing as I don't like any other type of seafood or many meats, (just gr. sirloin)this will surely help!

I had a good OP day, I ended up having the haddock for dinner and not the kabobs. I can have some of those for lunch tomorrow with a salad. As far as the rest of my day, I went to dads cardiologis visit with mom and dad. All went well, we covered a lot of ground. I brought up the fish oil and she said it would absolutelyyyyy be great for my dads heart! So now they will both start taking it, mom too! She also told me to look for the fishoil that comes from small fish, not to get the one from cod as the ones from small fish are best...she said it would be on the label. ok, so the one I picked up (prior to this meeting) did not say it is from cod, it is mercury free also but I don't seeeeeeee anywhere which fish it is from and it does not state "from small fish". I have no idea and because it doesnt state anything I bet it's from Cod. I need to go check all the labels in the store. A jumpstart would be great, does anyone know of a good brand that is from small fish???? Maybe I should post this in the SBD thread too, I have seen a few of the ladies mention fish oil.

Thanks for being here ladies, I hope you all are having a wonderful night.

urockmom 10-17-2008 10:06 AM

Hi everybody,

Sorry I have been so quiet. It has been one of those weeks where I have just been running from one thing to another.

Sadly, I can't report any weight loss this week. I didn't gain when we went away last weekend so I was happy about that but I haven't done a great job at being OP this week and because of the crazy schedule I am missing two days of workouts as well.

I am trying to draw inspiration from all of you ladies because you are all doing so well at losing for this challenge but I feel like I am not getting anywhere. :( I guess I just have to take it one day at a time and hope that I can do better today than I did tomorrow.

FullSteamAhead 10-17-2008 03:22 PM

Hi all, been a very busy day here....popped in for a quick post before I head out.

urockmom, it's nice to meet you. Those weight loss stalls and/or sidetracks are most likely to happen to us during the journey but even though we know this, it sure can be a stinky feeling when it happens...and frustrating. What helps me when I had/have a bad day/week etc. is to try and change my thought process from the negatives to the positives. So instead of thinking about how I messed up (painful, depressing thoughts), I start thinking about where I made some progress and what I did do that was better, albeit how small that positive may or may not be. Honestly, I think that you going away for the weekend and not gaining is really good! That's a big positive that you brought up. Also, even though you may have missed out on 2 workouts this week....I see that you already accomplished the 50 miles for October and we are only a lil over half the month! Great job :) you ARE getting somewhere ;).
I so agree with your one day at a time philosophy, that's always the ticket for me. Just concentrating on today and focusing on making it a good OP day. Hope you have a good one : ) We may not win every battle but as long as we help each other pick up and dust ourselves off and start our plans anew.....in the long run , we will surely win the war!

I have to run, Happy friday to all of you....catch you soon.

Hattie22 10-17-2008 05:18 PM

Hi everyone:wave:

urockmom: Love that screen name. I agree with the one step approach. You still have a lot of time to meet your goal! Try not to play the number game. Play the health game instead. The numbers will follow!!! You are doing fantastic! We all would love that magic bean that would just take it away. If that were to happen though, think of all the people here at 3FC that would never be communicating. This place is awesome! You are a part of our journey as we are a part of yours.

I feel that the journey is tough but so worth it. Everything we do becomes a part of our story. I don't regret my story so far but I want to make it more active and healthier so that I can keep on creating it. I have a lot to do with my life and don't want to have it cut short because I didn't take care of myself. That is the key right there....TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF! We (as women) always want to take care of everything and everybody but we often forget to take care of the most important person...OURSELVES!

Wow...did I get deep. Anyway...have a great weekend everyone and go out this weekend and create a story to remember!

FullSteamAhead 10-18-2008 04:46 AM

Oh my goodness Hattie, so true!

I lost 2 lbs. this past week so I'm happy. I got that darn TOM out of the way too, whew! So glad I got through it okay planwise this month (tom), sometimes it really throws a ratchet into my plan. Hope you all had a great day ladies, talk soon.

Christian,, where are you? Come out, come out, wherever you are! : )

Happy Saturday you guys, hope you all have a great weekend.

urockmom 10-18-2008 10:37 AM

Dear Hattie & FullSteam & everyone else too!

Thanks so much for the support. I have been down on myself over the last few days when it didn't appear that I was going to make goal. (& I didn't :() but patience has never been my strongest asset. ;)

I got up early this morning and had a big workout (weights + 45 mins on elliptical) so now I am tired but not defeated. I had set my mini-goal for today because we have a fancy dinner to go to and I wanted to look good in my dress but I think that I am going to look good anyway. No one else but me is going to know that I could have looked 1.5 pounds better than I do. No one else can even see 1.5 pounds! :p

I think this past week has been a case of making progress and then sliding back into old-and bad-habits. I am trying to realize that this is a long-term fix. As you say, I have to eat healthier and exercise for LIFE not just for NOW. And not eating right and getting in my workouts was totally a case of taking care of everyone else, DDs, DH, and parents, instead of me!

So, thanks again to you and everyone on 3FC for helping me on this journey and providing some much needed perspective!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Christian 10-18-2008 10:50 AM

Hey chics!
I am still here ;) I was on a little sabatical if you will  Everyone is doing SO well, I have to say that I am really impressed and happy for each of you  I however woke up with a gain this morning and refuse to weigh in until TOM is gone and see how much of it is real, I am heading out this morning to get a look at a clean eating cookbook and I am really glad my hubby is back to work, as I am able to be very strick with my eating again, as well as his. He redid our family room over the weekend and now I have a whole new workout space, with my bike and weight bench and my teadmill will be going in there when he gets home, so there is no excuse for me to not exercise now ;) Well ladies I am off to prepare for the day...

barbarajean2605 10-18-2008 11:46 AM

The other day I got a migraine and was pretty much out of it. I didn't eat like I should of. I need to work on when I'm sick to eat the same or somewhat like it. Thankfully, I didn't gain.

Jen- Congrats on the weight loss. :)

urockmom- The one day at a time gets me through this weight loss journey. Even if it's not showing on the scales it may show in inches. I have lost 8 pounds, but my clothes are feeling a lot more different than just 8 pounds. You are doing a great job!!!

lene1974 10-18-2008 11:56 AM

I hate having to come and post that I lost nothing this week. My kitty cat that I have had for over 12 years went missing and I have been doing emotional eating. He's an indoor cat and although it's a possibility he's outside somewhere, he's old and cautious so I can't see him going far. We have blankets by all the doors outside and food out too in case he is out there. My kids are devastated. He's been losing a lot of weight lately and part of me wonders if he just went and hid somewhere in the house to pass away. Enough about that.

Congrats to those who lost this week! Watch out because next week I'll be down 2 pounds. Mark my words, you won't even recognize me.:D

I have to say that you ladies are just wonderful and very encouraging. This is a small group but your posts are so positive and thought provoking. Great job and good luck everyone!

FullSteamAhead 10-19-2008 01:40 PM

Hi everyone, happy Sunday : )

urockmom, wtg on that workout :carrot::carrot: hope you had a lovely time at dinner the other night :).

Hi Christian, hope you had a nice time with DH on that sabatical :). That is awesome that you got your workout room all straightened out, sounds like your ready to roll! Right on! :) That was my plan for this weekend too! To clean out the room and dust off that weight bench and get it in there. The treadmill is already in there. Dh is so busy though and we need to move the bed to the top floor, hopefully we get to it soon. Thank lord for treadmills ha? It's already getting quite nippy here and with the big snowstorms we get here sometimes in winter, I wouldn't be able to walk without it. Sounds like you have a nice day planned, enjoy it : ).

Lekhika, how are you doing girl? Do you still spend the weekends at your parents sometimes? Hope your having a nice weekend : ).

Barbara jean, sorry to hear you had that migraine yesterday, I hope that you are feeling better. I need to work on that too, I keep thinking to freeze a meal or two for those times where I feel sick and can't cook, I have yet to do it. Thanks for the reminder!

Lene, how long has your kitty been missing? Did you find him yet? You mentioned he was losing a lot of weight, was he extra thirsty too? It could be kidney disease if that is the case, unfortunately it's common in older cats. One of my kitties is not doing well either! : ( but we are woking on getting him better. We started dribbling some fish oil over his meals, his doc said it would be real good for him and his cat did a total turnaround when he started giving him fish oil. Keep us posted okay?
Lene, that is my goal for this week too!!!!!! To lose 2 lbs. I hope so! I just started ph. 1.5 the other day and already went over the 1 serving last night! I need to buckle down the rest of the week and you have inspired me to strengthen that goal so ty to you too!

I have to run, but want to wish you all a super day! :)

barbarajean2605 10-19-2008 08:13 PM

lene- I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I hope he comes home soon.

fullsteamahead- I think that's what I'm going to do. It will be a lot easier to stay on track when I'm sick.

I hope everyone is having a good night. :):carrot:

jen1019 10-20-2008 07:12 AM

I just needed to update, as I'm quite excited- I'm out of the 200's! I'm at 199.2. I'm so excited :) Well, off to work just thought I'd let you guys know. :D Have a great day.

mkat321 10-20-2008 08:15 AM

Good morning :) How is everyone this morning?

Weigh-in day was yesterday and it showed a .2 pound loss. Of course it's also TOM so I'm sure in the next couple days the water retention will subside and I'll lose another .1 or so.

Not much on the agenda today, just hanging out mostly. It's hubby's half-day off so he's logging in to Yahoo after he finishes what has to be done so we can chat for awhile. As soon as the toddler wakes up I'm going to put a Firm DVD in and do at least 20 minutes on that, but other than that and trying to eat at least 2 meals today nothing going on here.

urockmom 10-20-2008 11:14 AM

Hey everybody! It is a beautiful morning here and I am wishing you all a happy and OP day!

I had a good time at my dinner over the weekend and the best part was that when I put on my dress it was a little bit loose!!! So, even if the scale has been stuck at least all those miles are paying off. My DD looked at me and said, "Mom, you look hot!!!" At the end of dinner they served this really serious chocolate dessert -which I did not touch!! The woman next to me said, "Are you really not going to eat that?" it was so yummy looking but NO, I said NO!

I, too, have a 2 lb goal for this week. Have to get back on track and cut out those "little" slip-ups, 1/2 cup here, 6 oz. there, etc. I was working out this morning and just chanting to myself, "Fit & Fabulous!" over and over and over again!

lene-any word on the cat?
jen 1019-:congrat: on oneder-land!!!!
Christian-I am truly, deeply jealous over your workout room. I have my stuff set up in my very dark, very creepy basement and it is awful. Most of the time I just put on my tunes and close my eyes so I don't have to look around. ;)

I'm off to the store to procure all the wonderful healthy things I need to really kick butt this week! to all of you!

Hattie22 10-20-2008 06:11 PM

Hi everyone

Lene1974: I am so worried about your cat. I really hope he is okay! :?:

Jen1019: Congrats!! Someday....I hope to be there! But I am sooo happy for you! Way to go!! :cp:

mkat321: Congrats on your loss!!! :cheer2:

urockmom: Great going on the passing of the chocolate dessert! When we are able to pass something up like that it makes you feel like you lost 10lbs. doesn't it? :goodscale

I have no loss to report this week. But that is okay. I am eating OP and exercising my butt off! I know it will come off. I say that ...but somewhere I am still disappointed. I just wish I could stay off the scale. I am weighing in with clothes on, with clothes off, at night and morning. I guess I am watching for the numbers to change. I just got through posting to urockmom the other day to not play the numbers game. It is sooooo hard not to. My pants are getting looser and my stomach shape is changing so I know I am progressing. I just have to be patient. I have lost 25 lbs. in 2 months and I know that is good but I want more. I was thinking of not posting but then I thought that was a little selfish. I need to support and encourage everyone else here or I will get into a pity party. :soap:
I am so thankful for everyone here because I know you all really understand!
Thanks!

urockmom 10-21-2008 08:58 AM

Egads!!!! Up 2 pounds? UP 2 pounds! UP 2 POUNDS!!!!

Arghhhh! Unspeakable frustration!!!!

What the h*** is going on???? Arghhh! (Stomping feet! Gnashing teeth!)

Christian 10-21-2008 09:54 AM

urockmom- Hang in there sis ...I too am up 2 pounds, but I am sure it will be gone in no time, we will make it ;)

jen- You go girl!!! Onderland is amazing isnt it :carrot:

mkat- I am sure after TOM has alot to do with your not having a bigger loss, I know that once it is over the # will change for you

Hattie- 25 pounds!!! In 2 months!! You rock girl, and your body is just adjusting to that much so quickly, you will see the scale move again really soon, just keep up the great and hard work :balloons:

Well ladies, I am off to get this house cleaned up , I tell you my hubbys vacations wreek havoc on our home and my ability to clean it  Have a great day everyone!

Christian 10-21-2008 10:18 AM

Oh ladies- I did change my goal for the challenge to 154 this morning, I feel like I may not hit the whole other 9 pounds I wanted by then, but I think the 11 pounds will be enough, and then on to a Christmas Challenge :D

FullSteamAhead 10-21-2008 11:49 AM

Good morning ladies, nice to hear from everyone...missed you all already.

A quick fly by for me right now as I am running late and have to make a few calls, but I'll be back later on.

Don't let those numbers discourage you to the point of throwing you off course, fight that beast! (the scale). The scale sure can be a son of a gun sometimes. Let's all focus on today and keep on going , keep up the great work ladies....

I hope you all have a super day, more on me later. I must run.

barbarajean2605 10-21-2008 12:45 PM

Nothing exciting going on here. Did some exercise this morning. I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday!

urockmom- Like people have been saying..try not let the numbers discourage you. I know how hard it is to see the numbers go up when you are working so hard.

Jen- Congrats on onerland!:carrot:

hattie-I'm one who can't stay off the scale. I don't know how many times a day I go on. I try not to, but I just can't. I see changes elsewhere but want to see it in the numbers. I hate the scale. Congrats on your 25 pound loss! :jig:

lene1974 10-21-2008 02:45 PM

Hi Everyone!
I just want to thank all of you for your support regarding my cat. I truly thought he was dead. He's older and very thin and it has been low 30's here at night. We filed a report at the Humane Society last week and they called me this AM. A women had called in saying she found a cat that matched the description of mine. She said she could tell he came from loving home but that he was extremely thin. Long story short... I went to her home and picked him up. This amazing women brought him into her home. Bought him food and litter supplies and even made a vet appointment. I'm so grateful for the good people in the world. When I got home I called our vet and got him in immediately. He's 5lbs :( and has a limp but his bloodwork for his kidneys, livers ect came out close to normal. We are waiting for tests on his thyroid (not related to his being missing, but his age). He's been eating like crazy. Thanks again for all of your thoughts.

Back to the Challenge*****
I need to drink more water. I'm the worst especially when it's cold out.

urock~ sorry for the gain, I was so happy in getting into the 140's and then I slipped back into the 150's last week. very disappointing, but it will come back off

Hattie~ truly don't go by the numbers. When I was training for my 5K @ Aug/Sept I weighed 3lbs more than I do now but everything fit much looser. I haven't been doing as many runs and I weigh less but my clothes feel more snug now. Just ignore that evil scale.

Jen~ congrats on the loss :carrot:

Fullsteam~thank you for your post about my cat. I haven't been online much this week. The vet said his kidney is fine but is concerned about hyperthyroidism. I'm glad the fish oil is helping your cat. I really hope we both see 2lb losses this week. Take care.

Christian~ What was your original goal? I'll be going with you to the Christmas challenge and I need to clean my house now too.

Barbara~ great job getting your exercise in!
Bye for now.

Oh lene - That's such good news!! I am so happy for you! :)

Our pets are truly members of our family and it is so upsetting when something happens. That woman was such a blessing!

lene- I'm so glad you got your cat back. My family are all cat people and get attached to our cats. I hope the bloodwork comes out alright.

lene- I am SO glad you found your cat!!! I know what a relief that must be, they are not only pets, they are our babys  My original goal was to weigh in at 150 by the end, but I will try for 154, and I would LOVE to have you join me on a Christmas challenge ;) I hope we can all stick together, you guys are like family to me now :grouphug:

I have been on countless message boards from scrapbooking, dieting, cake decorating, couponing and everything in between and I can't remember enjoying every single person's contribution to the board like I do here. You chicks are fantastic!
Thanks again for the well wishes for my furbaby, he's a sleepy guy.

I ran 5K tonight. It was very windy and cold and I was kinda dreading going out into it. It turned out to be a pretty effortless run. I had N.E. clam chowder and a hot ham and cheese sandwich on a whole wheat bagel. Clam chowder was not at all South Beach friendly but oh so good. It kept me motivated on my run. I kept repeating "skinny jeans, skinny jeans" :D

See ya tomorrow ladies and good luck on your goal Christian.

lene- 5k??? Oh my girl!! You rock!! And I LOVE the skinny jeans as a way of motivation to keep going...your head is in the right place for sure
And thanks so much for the well wishes, I WILL hit that goal by Thanksgiving ...I will! ;) ( I will repeat that while on the treadmill ) :D
