Morning all!! Hope everyone is off to a great start on the 2nd day of fall!! Well...I don't think i'm doing so hot but after my bf's first full day at work at his new job, i think i can find a good time to fit in some excersize. Gonna throw a chicken on the rotissurie (sp??) and then go outside and get about 2 miles in tonight. The weather is soooo much cooler, i really think i could enjoy getting out there and doing this excersize thing again. I want to get my gym membership back, but money is still tight. I don't see it becoming freer until the beginning of November. Oh well...going to try to start back walking/jogging in the evenings before it starts to get too dark too soon. Then, i may just have to start walking/jogging in the parking lot here at work.

Okay.... Weed for today...(not starting off so good)...
W- 64 ounces
E- 1300 calories
E- 2 mile walk
D- try to get back to me.

i have NO clue what to do for dinner tonight.

stupid me made a huge mistake last night. they opened a sonic....and we went. I was gonna hold myself to ONE thing and it didn't happen. The only good thing about yesterday was that I went over my 64 oz of water by about 25 oz. I'm real sore today from the jogging video, I guess my fat doesn't like jogging LMAO

I've gotta plan for dinner. I'll take useful stuff for snacks, but other than that i've really got to plan today. I'll take veggie soup for snacks, and figure out what to do for lunch b/c I have ZERO clue today.

6 am came too early again. that's what i get for going to sonic and being stuck in a line for about an hour. new store and all that. I should've just gone to the supercenter and done some shopping. I'm not gonna feel too guilty about it, it's not like this place is right down the street..it's about 20 miles away.

be back with personals later...

I agree you can't beat yourself up about going to the Sonic. I don't like Sonic food but i know how tempting it is to go out when there's a new restraunt in town. I didn't plan my dinner at all but if my dear daughter gets home in time, she can take out a chicken to thaw for the rotissorie. I hope it thaws in time. Well...lunch didn't do too bad today. I should have just ate one hungry jack biscuit but i didn't. I ate both of them. I don't know why i brought them both to work. Like i wasn't going to eat them both??? Yeah...right. I am on my second bottle of water. Yay me!! lol. I went to the grocery store on my lunch break so i won't have that excuse for not going out for my walk tonight. I'll have to come up with another excuse if i don't go. lol.

I weighed this morning (not my official WI) but it didn't do too much damage. I'm not gonna stress because it's a drive to go get it....not really something I'd stop and get on the way home.

I still don't know what's for dinner tonight.

Unfreakingbelieveable! For the first time in a LONG time, I've had a loss this morning! Down 2 lbs! Not only that, I got a email from a customer service company called West offering me a work at home position! I put in for it like two months ago and totally forgot about it! I also did a little grocery shopping today too. I'm such a fiber whore, seriously. If it doesn't have a good amount of fiber, I won't get it (well besides yogurt and milk!). I brought:
  • those new High Fiber Quaker oatmeal squares (210 cals, 4g fat, 10g fiber)
  • the new Chex Mix chocolate chunk bars (140 cals, 3g fat, 2g fiber....not as much fiber as I usually like but hey, I had a coupon)
  • Betty Crocker twice backed potatoes (220 cals, 7g fat, 6g fiber)
  • egg rolls
  • Baked Cheetos
  • sliced deli ham
  • sparkling water
  • beef jerky
  • Yoplait yogurt
  • Fiber One yogurt
  • Lean Pockets

Default Happy Hump Day Ladies!

I can't quit yawning this morning. So much so that when my eyes slam shut during the yawns its affecting my ability to type!

Shari - Congrats on the LOSS!!!!! What a great feeling huh? You keep it up! Fiber whore huh? Made me think of dressing up like a triscuit in a mini skirt for Halloween!

Jen - Woo... you are still running that like marathon aren't ya. You have inspired me to go do my ab workout this morning. I think I can do that and yawn too.

Lumi & Holyt - We have a Sonic getting ready to open in about a week. Its 1/2 a block from work. Dying to try the beebee sized ice drinky thing... not particularly excited about the food though... maybe thats a good thing!

Mtiger - Jelly - Nchellie.... Morning ladies! HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM AUDDIE? I'm beginning to worry....

And Welcome back to the returning WEEDIE who's name slipped my mind (I apologize) and I cant go back while posting to find out what it is. Glad your back on the team.

I have been hacking like a die hard bingo playing grandma since I quit smoking. I am already patched up today and enjoying the burn of the 2 inch by 2inch patch seering into my arm reminding me that its DAY 3! Wow... whoda thunk it? BF went cold turkey too. We have managed not to kill each other these last few days and I am actually enjoying smelling my own perfume on me at the end of the day now! Also, have been super OP with food and sucking down water like a shower drain.

WEED for the day
W - Drink, refill, drink, refill
E - Abs this AM, walk tonight. BF's mom is actually coming to walk with us!
E - Some form of Turkey, rice, fruit, salad, soup, sugar free hard candy, gum
D - $ saved not smoking = $14, $ saved not eating out = $30, Feeling like I'm in control.... priceless

Have a great day ladies!

Morning weeders!!!

Congrats Nixmom on day 3 of being on the patch!!! Keep up the awesome job.

Jlea...yay for grocery shopping!!

HT...glad your not seeing too much damage from Sonics!!

Okay...well...I did not go walking last night. My BF likes to see me dressed up from work when he gets home and the chicken wasn't thawed out. So we had pork chops. But tonight...i have the chicken out thawing and he's just going to have to enjoy seeing me in my workout clothes when he gets home. I'm sure he'll enjoy that too. hehehehe.

So Weed for today:
W- 64 ounces (didn't quite make that yesterday)
E- 1300 calories (might have made that without going over)
E- 2 mile walk
D- getting back to me.

HI ladies. I have a confession to make. I did not go and workout this morning, and I decided I wouldn't go work out. Why? Well With the crazy life I have been living since before my disney trip my body has been wearing down. So this weekend off I have skipped workouts and felt guilty about it. Then last night I decided to forgive myself. Taking a week off is okay. My body needs rest as much as working out. THis little sabatical may set me back a couple of pounds, but I have two days left before work again then I will get back into my workout mode.

Nix ~ You made me . I'm think I would dress up as a Fiber One box rather than triscut, I eat basically every product they make! WTG on going cold turkey! My mama did when I was little and she managed not to kill us.

Lumi ~ Your BF will live if he doesn't see you in your work clothes everyday. Men are such babies.

Jeni ~ With everything that has happened to you and the fam the last couple of weeks, you totally deserve a break! Does your gym have a sauna? Use it!

HT ~ CONGRATULATIONS!

So I rode a bike, first time in YEARS, to the library today. It's my friend's bike, she needs to get the brake line fixed along with the bike chain cover and extra padding on the handles, but I survived! It's 1.53 miles between her house and the library which adds up to 3.06 miles for one whole trip! I don't know how many cals I burned but my legs, arms, and back hurt and I was sweating buckets. Counts for something!

Thanx Jlea......

For your Fiber one box (and yes as soon as i read it i had an idea how) get you a big box, paint it up, cut the top and bottom off, and put some wide ribbon (or if you can hit the thrift store and buy a fabric belt and cut in half) and then attach to the box...no need for arm holes as the box will be under your arms........

make sure you add your nutritional value too

LOL a triscuit in a mini skirt!

That one day, 24 hrs went REALLY well! The next 24....well....

I go to the doc tomorrow afternoon...I didn't think I needed to go. I had called to cancel my appt for my depo shot from Tuesday(most of you remember all the problems I've been having on it) ...asked if the doc could call in an oral contraceptive for me instead and they called and said I actually needed to be seen by the doc!!! The same doc I've been seeing since he was my pediatrician?!? But turns out I've been having weird pelvic pains since Sunday afternoon....so I'll be glad to be seen. I think my uterus is falling out. It's not a severe pain, but it is getting annoying and it doesn't want to let up. I've tried the Tylenol/Advil all that, but nothing worked. I snuck one of my husband's real pain pills (from his shoulder operation, he isn't using them anymore) and they helped. But I'm a bit worried. Plus I can't take those pain pills at work.

Speaking of work, it is getting so bad at that place, that several of our girls are transferring out! And the one girl from nights (who drives me NUTS) is going to day shift to cover for our unit director when she goes on maternity leave so that leaves ME the strong nurse and usually in charge! Lots more responsibility! I used to be so ambitious, wanted to be management, in charge, a PCS (Patient Care Specialist, kind of like second head nurse) but lately I just want to take care of the patients. Make sure they are healthy and happy, keep the floor clean and stocked, running smoothly, answer call lights, etc. Not do all the crap desk work, the paper work, the charts, the docs, the politics. Oh well....just venting. I think I'm the only one left who actually likes my job at the end of the day. I know I know what I'm doing, I know I do it well and I do feel satisfied at the end of my shift. I don't get the same satisfaction if my patients need me but I'm up to my eyeballs at the desk with the phones/computers/charts.

I'll be back on tomorrow. I think I finally kicked that flu thing. I'm at the tail of it. If I can kick this lower belly pain, I'll go back to exercising. Doesn't look like I'm going to place in the weight loss contest at work, though the other people in it aren't trying either! And we still have about 5 weeks. We shall see.

Love to all....strength to us! Quitting smoking, losing weight, stress at work, finding new work, worrying about our kids, how do we manage!?

Anyone watching The Biggest Loser?

there will be no falling out of the uterus, not on my watch LOLOLOL

i've been crampy off and on all month long, so as long as TOM gets here and takes the cramps with him when he goes, then i'm fine. I'm due for my next visit in november. I pretty much just go for my pills. Every year they ask if i'm going to have kids, etc. Like I need the reminder.......I'm actually hoping to be at least at the halloween challenge weight by the time i go in for my visit. I'd really like that a lot.

We should have rehearsal tonight, and if it's anything like previous ones, we'll work up a sweat. I had a good little ab workout at lunch, not really painful other than the "feel the burn" pain. I had leftover minestrone and a rice cake with soy peanut butter on it. I wasn't full.

I just had 2 for my snack as well. It will do for now, i still have less than halfway to go on my water consumption for the day. I think I'm maintaining food ok, I just don't know what i'll have for dinner tonight. DH has been on vacation and while he's on vacation he eats what he wants. If I make dinner, well he *might* eat it, if he's not full from fast food

Has anyone seen the "big city slider" grills (asseenontv) in stores yet? I'm trying to hunt one down. I was looking for another ASOTV product that didn't say it wasn't sold in stores.....i looked high and low and found it. Now I'm hoping for the same with the BCS grills.....I promise Nchellie i'll get that recipe to you! DH said he'd be happy to cook sliders if we had one.....

I have to do dishes when i get back from rehearsal. And I need to climb mount washmore again.....i got some done last night Tomorrow is our company picnic.....I will do my best to not eat so much. Hopefully I can get an extra workout in or something to combat the calories.

Ok girls enough about me today. How the heck are you?
