Earthshaker, I get a little body miffed when I lose weight--I lose it so disproportionately, my bottom half hangs on to fat while my top half willingly lets go.

That said I am not losing. Boo. Yesterday was one of my best exercise days, I took the stairs up to my apartment for the first time (23 floors), did my push-up challenge and a dance workout. I know that the increase in exercise can bump you up but it would be so lovely to be heading in the other direction.

Happy Monday -
I went to boot camp this eve after work. Worked my tail off for an hour - (hopefully literally ).

I weigh-in tomorrow am at my program. Keep your fingers crossed for me !

I have kept on my plan ALL WEEK and exercised all but 1 day. * Here's to hoping for BIG results*

Good luck Flux, let us know how it turns out.

The scale gods are really beating me up lately. I have been busting and can't seem to get below 147-150 - I just keep hovering there. I need to journal again so I can see why I am not losing. Back to fitday.

Earth, I go in stages too, for a while I lose a bit and everything gets kind of floppy and then when I start to get used to being there the appearance starts to firm up. Just stay focused, like you are, you can deal with the lumps later ( or cover them with really nice skinny jeans!)

Eny, here's to you and me, let's eat right and exercise. I really wish there was an easier way.

I'm in MM - I'm going to start doing my walking again. I miss it, and I know the weather's going to turn soon :cold: I'm GOING to get outside and walk today... even if I just leave work a little early, I'll have time to walk to DD's school to pick her up, instead of driving the 1.4 miles. Every bit helps!

I'm going to start doing some yoga too. I'm going to not use a video right now - and just find some good meditation moves I can do for about 20 minutes at home.. I'm just SO unmotivated with exercise right now! UGH! I stepped on the scale this morning, and I put back on some of what I loss last week. So I KNOW I have to step it up so that I can have a loss this week!!! I HAVE TO HIT #170VILLE by the 4th!!!!

Hello!

I had a good day yesterday. It is amazing how good you can feel when having a good eating/exercising day and how lousy an off day can make you feel. I hope this means I'm out of the slump!

I spent the weekend on the road and my eating was horrible. Ate so much junk I was buried in it. That contributed to my lousy mood earlier this week. But finally getting back in gear and having a good day is like taking a magic pill or something. lol

I don't know about anybody else but I have a hard time concentrating on the Christmas challenge when I'm involved in other challenges. My mind is on the Halloween challenge and TBL one right now and it's kinda funny because the TBL ends a week before the Christmas one but somehow it doesn't seem that way.

Oh well, I'm rambling. lol Have a great one!

Morning all. Trying to stay OP. Did not get much exercise yesterday, had a 4 hour meeting and it threw the day way off, but today I can have my 2 mile walk for lunch and that will help.

Don't know if I told you all, but I had a wonderful victory on Tuesday. Went for my annual exam and I am down 16 pounds from last year, even on the doc's scale. Really helped me, because for me, that is 10% and it showed me that even though I get down week to week about the slow weight loss, it is working overall!!

MM, that's wonderful! It's so funny that the "doctor's scale" make it seem so much more official! Slow and steady wins the race, no matter how frustrating it is!

This has been a rough week for me. I haven't done TERRIBLE, but I haven't been great either. A little slack on the eating plan, a bit more slack on the exercise. I'm so close to "Onederland", but it doesn't look like it's going to happen this week . Have to get myself motivated again!

I know that everybody here has been working on this challenge for a while- but I was thinking of maybe joining in on the little challenge. I'm going to say for myself- thirty pounds. Christmas is still three months away, and I think that I can do it. And even if not, I'll try my hardest. Starting weight: 207

jen It's never too late to join us!

I took a mile walk today w/ DD. It was SO nice to get outside while the weather's still a warm. Not too many days left of it I'm sure. I'm still planning on doing more tonight too.

Eating is completely on target today. I'm going to really work these last 10 days before the wedding!
