  • Hi everyone, I know this challenge started last month but I'm new to 3FC and I need some inspiration and motivation: I need a challenge!

So with 14 weeks until Christmas, I think I'm going to aim for 18.3 lbs down. I just ballooned up 3.3 lbs with TOM (I'm learning the lingo) so hopefully that disappears soon and I can focus on about a lb a week until C-Day. Last time I weighed 150 lbs was when I first was dating my boyfriend--2 years ago! I'd really like to forget the 23 lbs I gained while dated him ever existed.

    Thanks for letting me join!

    SW/CW: 168.3
    GW: 150
  • 14 weeks until christmas? count me in! I am chartering a yacht with my family in the BVIs for christmas break so I'd love to be around my goal weight by then and back in my bikini

    SW: 180
    CW: 175
    Christmas Goal: 150
    GW: 140
  • Joy & good - We're a fun little group - and we have a blast! 14 weeks left, and our goals are VERY doable!!!

    How's everyone ese this weekend????
  • Hi Everyone~I just finished 30 minute walk at the school grounds. It is a lovelyv evening for a walk. My hip held up fairly well. It is a little bit achey, but ok. I think from now on until Spring I will be doing my walks there. Not far from home, well lit. 170ville here I come. Catch ya all later Pat
  • *hangs head*

I'll admit it: I've been hiding. Things have been so up and down lately (mostly down) that I'm just incredibly run down and exhausted. I can't keep up with threads, I can't keep with much of anything.

Lots of good stuff happening: I'm still going down albeit it far more slowly than I was before. I am still making the gym (most of the time), and I'm still moving, I just feel that I'm underwater and having trouble breathing.

Things are looking up: I got a new job that I start in a few weeks. It's M-F weekends and holidays off (which I've never, ever, ever had before), and day hours. My GRE was rescheduled; I'll be putting that behind me on Monday. Then I'll know basically where I am in ranking and know which schools to apply to.

I'm just really, really tired. And tired of being tired.
  • Earthshaker~Good to hear from you!!!! Good luck with your new job. How is your training for the walk going? Please post more often. I miss you and get concerned when I don't hear from you. Especially after Ike. Catch ya all later. Pat
  • Hi Ladies -
I am new to the site and would LOVE to join the challenge. With 13 weeks (and some change) I would like to challenge myself to a 25 lb loss. I know I can do it if I stick to the plan and exercise. If I have all of you to be accountable to (in addition to my weekly weigh-ins at my program) it will be much more likely. Good luck to all of you! We can do it!!!
  • Welcome joyra, goodday and LadyinFlux! Great to have you with us!
  • Yesterday was a rough day, today is better thus far.

How is everyone else doing? I am trying to get to 146.8 by tomorrow, really, really want to have loss for my first TBL challenge weigh in. If not, I may take an immediate freebie I want to lose every week and do NOT want to start with a gain.
  • Great day for a walk
Thanks for letting me join. Thus far today - eating on plan and went for a a 6 mile fitness walk in just under 1 1/2 hours.

When I exercise I am more likely to keep my eating on plan.

Hope all are doing well. Let's keep this going!!!
  • Earth - I've missed you! I'm so sorry to hear of your rough time! Keep coming back - especially when you're down! YOu are doing SO good! And the fact that you came back is proof that you're not giving up on yourself yet!

    flux -

MM - Stay strong hon! You CAN and Will do it! Look how far you've come already!!!
  • Trying to be more present. *grin*

I'm off to take my GRE today, I'm nervous but so tired that whatever I get, I get.

I lost one pound this week, but I slipped on eating and found myself making excuses. Good thing I stuck with the gym.

Will check in later. Have a wonderful Monday, ladies!
  • Earth - you're doing AWESOME! Look how far you've come in such a short time!!! You're OUT of the #300's - Out of the #290's... almost 1/2 way done with the #280's! YOU ARE ROCKING!!! What is your next mini-goal? I remember that we have one set for January - what was it again? We have to get moving! I've been slacking on exercise BIG TIME! I need to get back to it! I'm COMMITING to 30 mins a day 4 days a week!!! I have #3.4 to lose in the next 2 weeks and I WILL DO IT!!! I'm going to walk, do DVDs, do WHATEVER IT TAKES to lose these pesking pounds and be in the #170s for my wedding!!!

This weekend was a bust food wise, and exercise was not so hot either...

Pat - How was your weigh in this morning? did you see the #170's????

I have crossed another barrier.. I have LESS THEN #20 TO GO FOR THIS CHALLENGE!!! LET'S DO THIS!!!
  • Rock on, Eny! How far away is the wedding now? It's got to be close. You can do this!

My goal is 260 by end of year. I want, want, want 250 by Feb. 1. It'll be 150 lb lost by my "anniversary" date of coming home. Over 6 years, I suppose it's not that much per year, but I'm doing it, and excited.

I just wish my body weren't so lumpy. As I'm losing weight, it's getting lumpy, but I figure I'll deal with that when I'm at goal. Until then, it sucks that I'm feeling better but actually looking worse.

    Off to do stuff!
  • Earth, your success is just awesome! I blinked and you lost 13 pounds!
