It's funny the mindsets we get ourselves into! And you can't really see them clearly until somehow you are able to take a step back and see yourslf from a different point of view. I think not having pity parties for myself anymore has allowed me to take that step back.

Well, I'm chipping away at my goal for Christmas. I'm down .8 lbs this week. Should be more, but I'm getting back on track.

I'd better get my breakfast finished so I can do my 4 big miles DVD.

Good Morning Everyone~ The scale goddess was good to me I lost a pound I am now 181. Just 2 pounds from 170ville. Welcome to all the new folks.

It's been a long, long week, and I overslept this morning. Funny, since I love Mondays so much because I can go back to the gym. I just was just whupped, and ended up staying up too late last night looking at some people's mountain climbing pictures.

That will be me one day!

I've lost my exercise book (Grrr) that held my weigh ins, so I don't remember where I was last week, but I'm at 289.8 this week. I'm out of the 290's and slowly moving down! Yay! Still on target for my 260 by Christmas. I'm trying not to say "I can't believe it," because I can tell the difference, but after years and years of giving up, I can almost not believe it.

I hope y'all have a great day. Hope to be checking in more often, soon.

Pat GREAT JOB HON!! I can't wait until I'm back there! I'm moving back downward - after I put #7 back on! UGH! But I'm back under #190 - so that's good. I'm hoping to lose a little more before my weigh in on Friday.

Slimmin - great loss for you too!

Earth - do you remember it was just a few weeks ago that we were having a virtual party for you leaving the #300s - NOW YOU'RE ALREADY OUT OF THE #290's!!! :YOU ROCK!!! Keep going girl - you are SUCH AN INSPIRATION!!!!

MM~I just got off the phone talking to my lawyers secetary. What a mixed bag of emotions. The court date has been changed. Puts me in financial upheaval again. Gives me more time to loose a few more pounds though. He has agreed to most of my terms. I just don't like these nasty games he is playing. It would be so nice if he would settle out of court, let me get on with my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will catch ya all later. Pat

Pat - just remember this is his last ditch effort of controlling you. Once the Judge signs the paper he has NO say over you at all. Stick with it hon!

Oh - and I just did week2, day 1 = 60 PUs. I forgot to do them this morning, so I did them now, and now unto my regularly scheduled evening workout!

Pat, glad your hip is feeling better and congrats on your loss! I know it's hard, but try not to let life's stresses (like exs) get to you. You are a strong woman and you're accomplishing so much!

And congrats to you Eny on your downward movement! It's never easy, is it???

Glad you're safe EarthShaker and WTG on moving out of the 290s!

It's great to see so much activity in this thread - you are all very inspiring!

I had a pretty good day. Rode 5 miles on the bike, walked 2.5 more and even did some toning/free weight work. This is the most I've exercised in any given day in a loooooong time. I hope I can get out of bed in the morning!

To heck with him Dixie, you are getting it done. It sucks that the date is changed again, but it sounds promising that he is agreeing to most of the terms. I love the fact that you are focusing on the positive and getting on with your life. You can do it, we are here to help!!!

RMC, wow, great job on all that movement!

Eny, good job getting back into the 180's!! You are doing great!

Earthshaker, you amaze me, all that upheaval and hurricane activity and you are still going down, great job! How is the training going?

I am doing OK. Yesterday had a scale blip, but today is better again. So must have just been too much salt. Still not able to get in much exercise, need to maybe try the elliptical again, that seems to help the knees.

GOOD MORNING GIRLS!!! I'm feeling SO much better after Sunday's downfall (although I STILL DID MY WORKOUT!) I'm completely on plan - and the scale is moving in the right direction! I don't know if I can hit the #170's befor ethe wedding - but dang it I'm going to work for it!!! I didn't do my work out this morning... I accidently slept in I'm thinking I'll take a 10 minute walk during lunch today to make up for it though. It's cool enough outside that I can do a power walk w/ out getting all sweaty and gross coming back into work!

So how is everyone doing on their Christmas goals? I know that I've been going back and forth a little - but I'm still under where I started! It's going to take a TON of work to get to my goal in the next 15 1/2 weeks - but I REALLY want it! At least to be in the #160's would be INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Official weigh in is Friday...

I'm totally bummed today... this is minor in comparison to what some of you are going through. Yesterday carpet layers were supposed to come between 1 & 2 pm, but called at 10 saying they were 45 minutes out. I was going to my WW meeting at noon. At 10 minutes before noon they show up with the wrong carpet and not enough to do the job. What a day!! I missed my meeting so now I'll have to spend one of my evenings at the meeting. bummer!!

beach.. breathe... take a few steps back, analyze what's going on... PHEW. Ok now just refocus. Ok. Hang in there girly! I went down #12 from my start weight, then went back up #7, and now I'm down #8 (official weigh in is Friday though). It happens.

What do you need to do to fix it? What can we do to help you???
