Hi Everyone~I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I have been on an emotional roller coaster. Tomorrow would have been our 36th anniv. It will be the first one divorced. He will leave on vacation tomorrow. I am babysitting my dog, my beautiful black lab. He is my baby, my soul mate.

I found 2 boxes of vhs tapes and dvds that my ex left off here. What a treasure trove!! I had a blast going through them. I found my complete set of Cory Everson weight training tapes. One cardio tape of hers that I dearly love!! I found several ab workout tapes. :dance::dance: I found a Denise Austin Pilates tape. I will do that one tomorrow. YEAH!!:cp:

I did weight training shoulders triceps chest + 90 wall push ups + ab workout + 1 hour of stepping. I added an inch of height to my step. I could really feel the difference.

I am exhausted today, trying to get caught up on sleep, had the annual auction at church yesterday and then did not get home til almost midnight, went to 8am Mass today and trying to get some home work done, blech

Kathy,

I looked at the E DVD that I liked and it is 10 minute solution for trouble spots. I've just done the arms and stretching and I couldn't do all of the arms. I think I'll like it. The other DVD I got was the Pilates, but I haven't tried it yet.

eny- girl, that ticker is looking good! i'll be glad when mine is being that nice! & congrats on that 10 lb loss! :encore::encore:

mothermavis- y9our goal for august sounds good. i've actually made that my plan also but i already do 5 days of exercise. my goal is to add a 6th day to work out.

for me, today has been lazy day for me. i am cramping like crazy. i think it's time for my monthly visitor. :( i used to couldn't bear the thought of exercizing during that time but now exercise makes me feel much better.

I did all my workouts. I am so emotionally tired. I am babysitting the grandkids tomorrow. I had better hit the bed. I hope every one had a great weekend.

Busy day today. Cleaned out most of the garage, I'm whipped. Went to the Back to School Ice Cream Social this afternoon. :cheer2: 2 days until school starts for the little one! She's ready too, not just me. Hope all that cleaning makes the scale move this week.

Work tomorrow, gotta get some beauty sleep.

Eny, just saw you were halfway to your Christmas goal. Congratulations!

I'm pooped out. I hate weekends, and I sincerely hope I find a new job. I applied for two, and I just want out of this night shift. I lose an entire weekend as opposed to just 2 ten hour shifts. I've applied for two jobs, one of which is in the hospital, probably doesn't pay much, but better hours, full time, and I can keep my cheap gym membership and keep doing what I need to do to prepare for grad school, so that would be nice.

Sometimes I think I'm the only person who enjoys Mondays -- getting back into a routine, waking up, going to the gym, getting stuff done.

I have been craving all sorts of junk lately: chocolate, Chinese food (Gawd, the Chinese food), regular soda (which I haven't had in years, practically), and I realized it's because I'm so close to crossing that 300 mark. I really, really want Chinese food and have been focused on it lately...and of course, not the decent stuff but the deep-fried blah blah blah. So I decided once I get past that mark, I'll have some. Not as a reward, but rather that I will have it, but not let it get in the way of crossing that "number."

I really don't know why it's such a big deal, but every time I lost weight before, I'd get hung up there.

Oh well, in a couple of weeks, it'll just be a memory anyway. At least that's what I'm telling myself. :D

Y'all have a great end of weekend (not that much is left to it). I'm going to head to bed and see if I can get back on schedule in the morning.

Earthshaker, I enjoy the routine of the workdays and find it easier to stay op those days, but don't enjoy the getting to work and having to work all day part so much...:dizzy: Somedays are better than others.

Peony, seems strange to think back to school already, the kids here don't go back until September 3rd, but a friend recently moved to AZ and school there is already back in session.

Dixie, how old are the grandkids?

Blue mommy, I find that exercise helps my issues too, it's funny was just thinking the same thing, I used to curl up in a ball, now I try to just keep moving and it seems to help.

MM~ Bailey is 10~Sarah is 7~Hannah is 4. They are the cutest, sweetest kids I know. I am very prejudice!! After school starts I will only have Hannah.

Yesterday was a tough day emotionally to get through. My son was a big help. I think the worst is behind me. I have a whole year to heal and deal with things. We will see where this journey leads. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I needed them and I appreciate them all.

Today is wi day. The scale was good to me. I think I lost a pound! Pat

Good morning girls! earth - I'm not 1/2 way to my Christmas goal, i'm 1/2 way to my ULTIMATE goal! I still have #22.4 to lose by Christmas! and 20 weeks to do it! Still very possible! I can't give up now! I also feel you on the "sticking weight" The lowest that I have been in 10 years is #180.6 - and everytime I'm close to crossing into the #170s - I sabotage myself! NOT THIS TIME! WE HAVE TO PUSH THROUGH!!!

Today was official weigh in for me, and I'm happy to report that I managed to stay at #186. :) #10 down! PLUS it's a #1.4 down from last week. :) Things are good.

Oh wow, even better, congratulations! Keep on pushing. I do the same thing, though at 300 and not 170. I'm not allowing myself to do it this time. I'm so close I almost hate to see the scale. I've been advised to give it up for a couple of weeks, but I'm afraid of what I'll do if I do that.

I'm just in and out. I'm about to go grocery shopping (which I hate) and then have my annual review with my boss (whom I dislike even more).

On the bright side, I graduated from the NuStepper (which I hated but kept at it) to some arc trainer. Thirty pounds ago, I wouldn't have been able to fit on it, as it brushes my sides when I move now. I'm doing the elliptical and the arc trainer and I just started resistance bands.

I told the perky little girl at the gym that I have to wear a sleeveless shirt in five months. I want my arms as toned as possible.

Anyway, y'all have a great Monday! Congrats on all the losing, chicks!

Well i am gonna rename the tread for my own purposes...REcommitment to Christmas. July was bad month dietwise. I did not go off plan completely, week days were all pretty well on track. The weekends not so much so. Saturday was the worst. I was tired and feeling a little discouraged. I spent the day grazing and telling myself to get back on track. When I went to bed Saturday night I had a little heart to heart convo with myself woke up yesterday ready to give it 100% again. So far so good!! If I am very very good I can still make my xmas goal.

I did not lose any weight last month, but I did not gain either.

Congrats to everyone who has been successful!!! RECommit with me everyone who has been struggling!!.

I didnt realize it had been so many days since I posted until I saw my last weight lol. Im down another 2 lbs!!! I have no idea why. Thursday and Friday were horrendous ...I ate at BK and KFC and had chocolate and danishes. Im really into self sabotage mode. The funny part is Ill be out and Ill see some lil hottie in next to nothing and I get mad and jealous and eat everything I see...which makes no sense at all :o

Dixie God bless you my dear...what a difficult time this is for you. You stayed on track tho :hug::hug:for you!!!

PS....Eny...About the bathing suit suggestion...The day you wrote that I had actually gone out with a gf and bought 3 yes 3 lol bikinis I figure if I get 3 thats harder to ignore than 1 !!! lol
